Overall, a 5* stay! The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the marina with shops and restaurants, and about a 20-30 minute walk from Son Xoriguer beach, which was beautiful. It was also only about 25 minutes by bus into Ciutadella - a must visit, gorgeous architecture and so many shops and eateries. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful, always smiling and interacting with my 3 year old son. The food was varied each day and night and was delicious - everything I tried was tasty, even things I’d never tried before or wouldn’t normally have chosen. Excellent selection of drinks, desserts, and children’s buffet. The kids club activities and disco in the evening were very cute, and my 3 year old really enjoyed himself in the play area and bouncy castle, (whilst we enjoyed a cocktail or two watching)! The hotel grounds are beautiful, pools were great, albeit slightly cold in the beginning of May. My only real comment would be on the rooms themselves. They are very dated and although they were very clean and spacious, they don’t really reflect the 4* hotel rating, even though the hotel definitely deserves their stars! :) They also smelled a little damp/musty when it was humid outside. We were in block 3 and it was generally pretty quiet, so no noise complaints. If they could modernise the rooms, I’d have nothing more to say! Would definitely return again though, our family loved it. Thanks so much to all the staff! :) I would highly recommend a stay here - great value for money.

Zafiro hotel was absolutely unreal. We couldn't fault the place. The food was amazing and they mixed it up daily, the pool bar options for food was great, the alcohol servings was generous and I don't think they'll be ordering any whisky next time we go as we finished it off 🤣. The pool selection was fantastic with great pools for the younger kids and adults. The staff were all absolutely spot on, amazing service, hospitality, there was nothing too much to ask. The reception, the waiters, the bar staff, the cleaners and the entertainers. All were amazing. The entertainers were absolutely amazing, throughout the day and nighttime entertainment. Adults and kids loved it. Shout out to Myo though who made our trip and others feel personalised, the remembering names, dancing with kids, entertainment, he was absolutely fantastic! My son loved him. The location is great, 2 min walk outside theres supermarkets and bike rental, inc a bus stop, 10 min walk you have a marina with boat rides, speed boats, jet skis, restaurants, beautiful walks and a beach which is a 10/15 min walk, however, if you plan on exploring, I would recommend hiring a car for a couple of days to venture out. They are based in the marina and fairly priced. Also taxis available. Shame the weather wasn't the best on our stay, however, we made the most of it. We will 100% be back, thank you for such an amazing time, made it special for my sons first holiday.

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 2 boys aged 9 and 8 in October. We had a fantastic week in the sun! The hotel was very clean, all staff were very friendly with smiles on their faces. My boys loved the big pool, especially the giant pillow and spent hours on it! There is a lifeguard at each pool. The food was good, we enjoyed the pool bar for lunch most days. The buffet was good, however at times food was cold. I did mention this to the chef about the chips and he immediately got fresh ones put on and brought out. Breakfast was a good variety and pancakes were the favourite! Our room was lovely, clean and in a great spot, before arriving we had emailed to request a room with a sunny balcony in the afternoon and when checking in the staff member told us they had allocated this to us which was great. Our boys loved the football pitch and bouncy castle. The entertainment was ok, the kids disco was good for younger ones but a lot of the songs we felt were not very upbeat, a bit boring. Maybe that’s because our kids are slightly older and based on our experience in other places. But they did all look like they were enjoying it! There is a couple of shops across from the hotel at the roundabout, a lot of things were closed or closing down for the season when we were there. 5 minute walk to the lighthouse which has superb sunset views. 10/15 minute walk to the harbour and small beach. We loved snorkelling here and saw lots of fish which ate food from our hands!
