I booked this hotel because I wanted somewhere peaceful and relaxing for my first trip abroad alone with my children. My son is neurodivergent, so I was looking for somewhere nice without constant loud entertainment or activities, and this hotel was absolutely perfect for us. We had such a lovely holiday from start to finish. Our room was clean, tidy, and in a great location. The hotel itself was beautiful, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The pool was lovely and surprisingly deep in places, which we really enjoyed. The only downside was that it stained our white swimwear yellow. We also never had any trouble finding sun loungers, which was a huge bonus. The pool bar staff were fantastic. They worked incredibly hard and were always friendly and welcoming. I really liked the drinks system too – you give them a blue coin for a drink, and when you've finished, you return the cup and either get another drink or receive your coin back to use later. It worked really well and helped keep the pool area tidy. The snack bar was good, offering hot dogs, burgers, nuggets, ice cream, and a fridge stocked with salads, fruit, and cakes, which was handy throughout the day. The all-inclusive restaurant was good overall. We're not particularly adventurous eaters, and my son mostly ate plain pasta and fruit, but there was plenty of choice available for those who are. I'd seen some reviews mentioning the food was cold, but we didn't experience that at all. The restaurant staff were always busy and worked very hard. One thing worth mentioning is that during our stay there was a forest fire nearby which caused a power cut that lasted around four hours. This meant the hotel was temporarily without electricity and water. Despite the circumstances, the staff were brilliant. The bar staff were rushing around trying to help everyone and put out jugs of drinks so guests could stay hydrated. Dinner service was a little delayed, but that was completely understandable given the situation. The staff worked incredibly hard throughout the disruption and did their best to keep everything running smoothly, which was greatly appreciated. Check-in was a little confusing because we arrived early and our room wasn't ready. We also struggled slightly with the language barrier at first, but another member of staff kindly helped explain everything to us. On our last day, my daughter had an accident in the pool, and the reception team were incredibly helpful. They arranged a taxi to the hospital for us and checked in with us when we returned, which we really appreciated and showed they genuinely cared about their guests. The entertainment was just right for what we wanted. It wasn't an all-singing, all-dancing resort, but there was still plenty to enjoy, including water aerobics, a music quiz, bingo, and a fun inflatable mat you could run across on the water. During our stay there was also a magician, a singer, and a dance show. We stayed from Saturday to Saturday and had a fantastic time. The staff were hardworking, friendly, and always doing their best. Most importantly, the hotel provided exactly the kind of relaxing family holiday we were looking for. It was peaceful without being boring, and there was enough entertainment to keep everyone happy. We made some wonderful memories here and would happily return in the future.
