This hotel is brilliant. We had a great 10 days with our 4 and 6 year old. The rooms were great for a family and felt modern. The pools are brilliant and even in summer holidays we were able to find sun beds. The splash pool has so much shade and your kids could be there all day and not get bored. The staff were so lovely, especially the kids club staff. Kids club is great too. It’s all aimed at younger kids though which was perfect for us. My only disappointment was the food. The meat and fish on the grill is so over done and they’re not allowed to serve it less cooked. I think due to the small size of the hotel there wasn’t much variety each day. They have a theme in one area by the drinks each day but it’s very small with minimal choice when compared to other hotels we’ve been to. Lunch time is “meat burgers” or “meat hot dogs” at the pool bars which is concerning to not explain what meat it is. Overall if you’re not a big foodie and want a great hotel with the kids I’d recommend. Also the pizza place just around the corner is brilliant. We think it got 3.5 stars because the service is very laid back, so expect slow service and great food!

Holiday review We arrived at Birmingham airport, Where I can personally say I found stressful, having to check yourself in, Weigh your own case and then have to take it to the front to then scan and place your luggage on the belt, I know for alot of people this might be easier, but having a child who is on the spectrum it added to my stress. Once through to Mallorca we found that a little weird to, having to go to scan adult fingers, Little one who is 6 had to complete a face recognition, we thought Phew we are done, but no it was round to the family part to reshow passports ect. We were through passport and luggage quickly and also on to the coach, unfortunately due to the coach being busy and lots of stops we found it arriving to our hotel a Lengthy process, but we were happy to say it was worth it. We arrived to our Hotel Protur Bonaire and we were greated by a lady from front of house with a lovely happy smile, this lady was called Demi and what a fantastic help she was, nothing was too much for her. We arrived at the hotel at 11.30am and we're very happy to be told our room 5108 was already, so off we went up to our room, The room was beautiful and spacious and had lots of space for us a family of three. Once unpacked we didn't hang about and we were straight down to the pools, we headed to one of the big pools, as you can imagine at that time there was sun loungers available, but that didn't bother us, but I must say it was lovely to be offered sun loungers from other families, whilst around the pool we were offered items of pool toys from people who were leaving that day, our beautiful boy was very happy with his Crocodile 🐊 and a water gun. I would stress to all families please don't rush out and by floaty or pool toys in general, do pop up to the front TUI desk where you will find the Swap Box, this is an amazing idea and it used by many, including ourselves on leaving this morning I added lots of different items from twizzers to a blow up donut 🍩 Going back to the pools there are four pools within the hotel. Bouncy ball pool - which as the bouncy ball in which the kids and adults love, please take water shoes due to alot of toe injurires, Also it seems to destroy your swimming bottoms when you slide down it, At some points I was a little worried about the safety of the area due to this became very busy and at sometimes a little unsafe meaning adults were knocking in too the children, or actually seeing children pull down children who were unrelated them, within this pool alot of games take place for the kids and adults such Aqua Gym, Water Polo and small children challenges. Baby pool - this was a pool we didn't use just because our little boy is 6, but it was lovely to see the children/kids club staff bringing different objects to this pool and interacting with the little ones. Pool with Bubble pool and in pool sunloungers - We think it's meant to be a small jacuzzi style pool but bubbles are not on very often, not that you wants warmer pool anyway lol 😆 This pool had the inpool sunloungers which I must say I used alot, it was lovely to lay by the pool whilst my husband and little boy played and jumped in, this pool is also the more deeper one, but it can get very busy, but not as busy as the bouncy ball area. Splash pool - OMG this was one of our favourite areas even with our little boy who is 6 and a swimmer, it was such a lovely atmosphere where lots of families got to chat and the children seemed to make lovely friendship, which was a little sad yesterday evening when we had to goodbye to them. The pool as many slides for children from 0-8 I would say, but that didn't stop myself and husband have a go a the few bigger slides. Park - The park was also a little place where the children were happy to play on, they also made a fantastic friends - I would personally say if your child is over 7 the would be a little bit to big for the park, our little boy who is 6 played lovely but I couldn't imagine him fitting on it next year. Food areas The main restaurant was so lovely for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner - we really do need to praise Sebastian he was amazing and our little boy looked forward to seeing him, he works very hard and still as a massive smile on his face even working in the heat he's been working in. We also need to praise the chef at the pool bar, this is an order service for food and always prepared fresh. We didn't really use the bouncy ball pool food area just because we spent a lot of time by the splash pool, it was mostly chips and Pizza ect. Sunbed wars - Well what can I say if your an early bird your safe lol 😆 husband was up in the gym at 5.30am and towels were already on loungers by the two main pools. I must say hubby would then put towels down around 6:30 and we would get a space around the splash pool, when hubby returned to our room there is never really any loungers by the main pool, we did see workers trying to place more sunloungers out. Tui Reps I was shocked to say there is no welcome meeting anymore and it's all on the App, This is not a problem to myself due to I will happily use the App, but for some families using the app is not available ect. TUI Entertainment As much as I don't want to be negative about this I really can't help it, I would never say the girls are not trying there hardest because they are, but coming from a nursery background they could really add alot of different activities to keep the children entertained. Captain T dances are a little flat and the what's the box I honestly had no idea how they kept the children engaged, I feel like the girls needs to go and spend some time at the Protur Holiday village just to get some tips or even pop to a local Ibrostar hotel and see how they run a kids entertainment, but on the flip side of that I have to they had a some fantastic outside acts coming in, the Circus one on Saturday were amazing 😍 and honestly it was the first night I had seen the whole seating area so busy. Trips - We didn't book any trips thru TUI but did organise our own once in the resort, I can highly recommend using Moonfish Cat to book a boat trip, we choose to do the Express Boat over to Rat----- spent an hour and half you can spend longer and then headed back on the express boat to Cala Bona, the boys on board who drive the boat, Organise ect were so lovely and we're full of information, We loved looking in the Caves, they the guys on board were happy to take photos ect. We also took a trip out to Majorca Safari, We made our own way there which the front of house in the hotel were happy to order a Taxi 🚕. It arrived quickly and it was about 11Euros. We arrived at the Safari and checked in, on checking in were offered VR for 3 Euro and it is 5 Euro in park. We boarded our land train and off we went through the park, it was a very dry atmosphere and it was so hot in the train, it was sad the animal didn't seem very happy, but they did look well cared for, as we were going around we could see the animals being given water ect. The land train took around 30mins and to be honest that was enough. When you get off the Landtrain you are there in the park, we spent about hour walking around and also took part in the VR which was pretty good for the money. One finishing the park, we caught the free bus back, it goes to Cala Bona, Cala Millor and Sa Coma, It also does drop off at other places, We choose to get off in Sa Coma and walk back to Cala Bona it was just over an hour walk, We are a family that do alot of walking, it was hard going in the heat, but we did keep going and it was lovely to see Sa Coma, Cala Millor and Cala Bona. Cala Bona - Is a beautiful place with lots of do, lots of places to eat and drink and beautiful walks, We did find a couple of cocktails bars that we liked Paradise Cocktail Cafe was one of our favourite in Cala Bona. We also loved hiring the ride of pretend horses, this was best 5 Euro we have ever spent, 5 Euro per horse for 15mins and believe me you don't don't need any longer than 15mins, my legs were killings after it. It was so much fun making memories having little races down Cala Bona front, it also gave the people in the different bars a good laugh 😂 😂 Cala Millor -  A little favourite of our due to it as Fantasy Island which our little boy loves and keeps him happy for a hour or two. We also love the bar Mint, where I must say the drinks are made beautiful and the girls and guys who work in there are so lovely and definitely a favourite of ours. Our Negative parts - Breakfast not opening until 8am, we have been used to other hotels when it's open at 7/7:30am Dinner in the evening again not opening until 6.30pm again we have been used to 6pm I know 30mins doesn't sound alot but it is when you want to have a walk out. Our Block which was block 5 and room 5108 over looked the park which was not a problem but it meant it was quiet noisy until 11pm, this didn't effect us as our beautiful boy will sleep well but I do worry for children who are younger. Our VERY positive parts - Demi Front of house - Sebastian in the dining room - Food - We have ate well and as a picky eating there wasn't one night that I couldn't find anything to eat. - Drinks always available 😊 - Meeting some lovely family - Swap Box - Area we were in, so close to everything - Clean Environment, the cleaners and house maids work really hard. We would definitely give this hotel 8/10 😊 😊 😊 we would also return to this hotel when we choose to return to Majorca. Really hope you like all the photos I have added and also please do ask any questions that might you book your stay or make sure stay more enjoyable.

Booked as a last minute summer holiday .. rooms were clean and well equipped we were all inclusive and had a 1 bed apartment. Very spacious and maids cleaned and mopped floor Pool was very busy but was to be expected in a family hotel in school holidays .. although sunbeds were reserved at the crack of dawn we still managed to get 2 together every day If you have little kids the hotel is perfect splash park, kids club , day time and evening entertainment As a single mum travelling with 2 kids felt really safe and walked out the hotel most evenings .. 5 mins to the water front, 10 mins to the harbour and 1hour to Cala millor if you want a better beach Food was ok in the hotel lots of choice for breakfast, lunch round by pool was standard beige which suited my kids perfectly so no complaints Slushies included in all inclusive and certain cocktails Would I go back again yes, would it be my main holiday no. Considering was a family hotel was always clean so props to the staff
