One of the best family hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. A special shout-out to Bethany for making us feel so welcome throughout our stay! The food selection was excellent, with plenty of options for even the pickiest children, including pizza, chips, and nuggets. There was also something different every evening for those who enjoy trying new dishes. The air-conditioned rooms were a lifesaver. With temperatures reaching 32°C and humidity around 90%, it made a huge difference. Our room was cleaned daily, the beds were comfortable, and we were lucky enough to have both a pool view and a beautiful mountain view. For the price we paid, I really couldn't fault the hotel. If you're expecting absolute luxury, then perhaps a 5-star hotel would be more suitable. For families looking for great value, friendly service, and a comfortable stay, Hotel Romani is hard to beat. We will hopefully be returning again soon!

I always look forward to this bit because some people really do put the fears into you when reading reviews but what I found with this hotel before we went was reviews was pretty average(nice change). But here goes. Just got back from here yesterday. So ill be honest has possible start with the good. Then the bad but before I start the bad isn't necessarily the hotels fault. Positives. Hotel is clean the groundsmen do a brilliant job especially around the pool and garden areas. And hat off to them working in that heat but its always tidy at the start of the day. They always say morning to you aswell which goes along way in my eyes. Room cleaners do a good job clean rooms everyday beds made etc. But just do want to give a shout out to the cleaners in the Tomir block for giving me an extra pillow 1 morning(must of got sick of seeing my pillow folded everyday) but things like that shows the attention to detail. So thankyou. Animation team do a super job but I did find if you get yourself involved with them they will make that little extra effort with you. So I do advise if you want to get involved then push yaself then they do seem to come and find you then. There was 1 day that was extra good where 4 reps was working and they just seemed to get everyone dancing all day round the pool(my highlight). Activities seem to be 2 in the morning and then 2 in the afternoon ranging from aqua gym. Shooting. Killer darts/pool etc. But the more reps on then the more activities there seem to be to suit all ages but the less reps there is seem to be more for older teens/adults. Due to kids club and mini disco. but Over the 10 days there was 2 acrobatic shows by the pool which was good 1 was i described em has the baha men but did start to drag on abit and the other was a pirates of the carribean acrobatic show which I did enjoy also had a brief showing from 2 mermaids on another day which I think was a nice touch for the kids. Rooms: quite basic really but we was in a family room which had a tv with remote if theres no remote they are free from reception. Fridge. Microwave which I found pointless but its probably more for families with babies for the bottles and stuff(another nice touch which is thought about). 3 beds and sofa which folds out to a double. Big balcony. Bath/shower(I said it could prob do with an upgrade to a walk in shower but suppose thinking about it it might be better having a bath for the young ones 1s) but all in all its adequate and caters for what you need. Bar staff do a brilliant job a couple of occasions give me summot different to what I was asking for but thats just the language barrier but majority of the time they understood you. They have have a few english people working their aswell which does throw you off abit when they use our lingo. You know when you speak abit slower louder and clearer. So they understand then they fire back with alright pal. You've got 1 chap seems abit full on always in a rush we found out he went through abit of an hard time a few month ago but he does seem to get the queue down. So ill give him a shout out aswell. And the spirits aren't on optics either so sometimes they can be strong:)) There's a water tap next to the pool bar which is drinking water and its ice cold aswell which saves going buying water from the shop for your room. Snack bar open from 12-7 or 8 cant remember. Do burgers hot dags chips nuggets Fruit icelollys. cant take food out of it tho but they got an inside/outside seating area. They do slushes at the bar aswell. Restaurant: Breakfast typical Spanish really they seem to swap the eggs between scrambled and fried every 2 days. Bacon seemed better than what ive had in the past. 1 day they did english sausage. So i dont know how othen that is. But different breads croissants cereal then I found they do doughnuts every 2 days. But I did find that their was no pancakes at all which young one was gutted about. Lunch a soup 4 different veg salad bar 2 meats a fish chips pizza. Kids bar mainly same has what ya get from snack bar. Different desserts and fruit. Dinner same as lunch but kids would have 2 different pastas on carbonara and spag bol. They did 3 different themed nights while we was there aswell Italian,Mexican and typical majorcan. There's a little amusements section and a shop on site aswell. Night time mini disco at 8:15 then a show a 9:15 mini disco is good for kids. Sometimes I wished my little 1 was still young haha. Evening shows was good just didnt understand the white party show. But thats personal taste I suppose. Bad points: Food got abit tedious after abit but typically you will always find summot to eat. No live cooking section in restaurant which is what I always look forward to so maybe something for the hotel to look into going forward but its not a major thing just my personal preference. Also a reconfiguration of the layout because the salad bar is inbetween the veg and the meats so bit time you get to your meats you veg is cold. You get tokens for 1 cup each at check in to exchange at the bar then u get the euro for each cup that you take back at check out. We ended up paying for another 2 tokens so me and the other half could get 2 drinks each coz ya just find yourself going back and forth to the bar every 2 mins but ya dont get the euro back for any addional cups. The only other rule that did my head in a bit is its only 2 drinks per person which was a nightmare for me has the mrs gets swollen ankles alot on holiday so I had to get 2 drinks then go back for another 2. DONT!! Buy lilos from the shop has your not allowed to use them in the pool abit of a sneaky move that. But dont know if the shop is privately owned or part of the actual hotel. Rings are allowed and the lilos that have got the netting between both ends of the floaty bit whatever you call em. Now this is just personal preference but there's 1 rep in my opinion that just needs to ease off the mic abit I know they are there to get everyone up and enjoying themselves but personally I think she just over does it abit but Im not taking away the good job thats she does do because they all do work hard. Maybe the hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint but nothing major. Now the things thats not an issue with the hotel but its other guests. Now i dont agree with people claiming sunbeds and a table then going elsewhere for 3-4 hours but the cheek on some people is unreal we sorted sunbeds and table out went for breakfast when we got back table and chairs was gone. Also another group next to us 1 day had their towels thrown off and beds took and they did the same just went for breakfast so yes just be careful. Summary: All in all the holiday was an enjoyable 1 and certainly wouldn't refuse to go here again just a few alterations here and there and it would be top notch(5* from me) So any bad reviews then honestly dont worry about it at the end of the day your holiday is what you make it. But 1 other thing we stayed in the Tomir block but if your in the Galatzo block your on a winner anyone who's stayed/stays in that 1 will know what i mean(less distance to walk to everything) Keep up the good work and thankyou for a pleasant/enjoyable stay
