“Steve ruined the week.”

I have just arrived back from this resort, and as much as most things/people was great. I am 17 but was given an 18+ wristband. This was not the hotels fault as I told them I was 18. BIG MISTAKE! The entertainment team were great, I took a particular liking to edu and Jordan as WOW! WHAT AMAZING DANCERS! but one animation team member took a liking to me. At first it was all friendly as I asked questions as I want to go into animation - but then some disturbing comments got made. I wore socks around the pool as I do not like feet, Steve took it upon himself to make dodgy comments about only fans. My father then told him I was 17 so he would back off. News flash; it didn't work. He them started putting my name down for every activity, but it wasn't my name - he called me "socksie". He then on the 4th night made some disturbing dark jokes to our table which included women and hitler - you can imagine the jokes. That night he said I looked like an actress and asked to search it on my phone, my phone was dead so he dropped it and we went to sleep. Now before the next part I want you to know he was made aware multiple times by most of my family members (there was 14 of us), that I was under 18. The next day he asked to search the actress and as I thought nothing of it so passed him my phone. HE ADDED HIM SELF ON MY SOCIALS. that's not even the worst part - that night he messaged saying "aw you've gone to sleep already?" to which I kind of laughed of and asked if he would send me the agencies for the animation team as he promised in which he responded with "how do you ask nicely" The next day he asked me for drinks that night - luckily we were leaving at 7 the next morning so I could let him down gently without making things awkward, he kept persisting till I said he could come for a drink with my family in which he then turned it around and said what's below in the photo. He's then deleted all the messages and did not talk to my family for the rest of the night but persisted to hover next to our table. It is awkward as a teenage girl to speak up but do not bring your teenage girls to this hotel.

Honest Review from a Welsh Family of 11 (3 Groups) – 7-Night Stay, July 2026. All stayed on level 4. Overall, we had a lovely family holiday and made some great memories. We travelled as a family of 11, including children, so this review is based entirely on our own experience. The Good The hotel itself is spotless. The cleaners are constantly working, and you can see the staff take pride in keeping everything clean and tidy. During our stay we had a power cut in our room and our toilet stopped working, but the maintenance man arrived within 10 minutes and fixed both issues straight away. The pools are cleaned every morning, and our room received fresh towels and bed sheets daily. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, and we honestly had no complaints about the room itself. I’d read lots of reviews saying the hotel is “in the middle of nowhere”, but I completely disagree. The free hotel shuttle bus runs regularly throughout the day until around 6:20pm, making it easy to get into town. We often caught the bus there and enjoyed the 20-minute walk back. It’s mostly flat with very little incline, and even my 8-year-old daughter never complained. We walked it several evenings after exploring the town and beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water. It does get busy, but it’s definitely worth visiting. There’s also a lovely restaurant by the beach. One evening we ordered a fresh takeaway pizza and ate it on our sunbeds while watching the sea. The entertainment team work really hard. I wouldn’t say it’s the best entertainment we’ve experienced, but it was enjoyable. The staff were all lovely, especially Jordan and Jenny, who my children (and myself!) really took a liking to. There was plenty going on during the day, including mini golf, darts for the adults, table tennis, pool games and dance sessions. As with any holiday, you get out what you put in. If you’re happy to join in, you’ll have a great time. The Not-So-Good The biggest disappointment for us was the food. It was very repetitive and the restaurant felt more like a busy canteen than a relaxing dining experience. We’ve stayed in several all-inclusive hotels before, but this one definitely had a different atmosphere. The food itself was quite basic and there wasn’t a huge amount of choice. For example, they served tuna pizza for two days in a row with no alternative pizza option. Chicken nuggets only appeared on one day during our stay. When travelling with children, especially fussy eaters, you’d expect simple options like Margherita pizza and nuggets to be available every day. Our girls mostly lived on plain pasta, chips, the occasional cheese pizza and plenty of watermelon. On the plus side, the breakfast croissants were lovely, and the unlimited ice cream available throughout the day was a huge hit with everyone. We ended up eating out three times just to break up the canteen atmosphere, and we’re really glad we did because the food in the town was fantastic. We especially recommend Travellers Inn for both evening meals and a brilliant English breakfast. The Cup System One thing we really didn’t like was the reusable cup system. When you check in, you’re given tokens which you exchange at the bars for reusable cups. We’d brought our own Stanley cups hoping the staff could make our drinks directly into them, but they wouldn’t. Every drink had to be made in the hotel’s reusable cups first, and we then poured it into our own cups ourselves. What concerned me most was how the cups were “cleaned” between uses. Each returned cup was simply held against a water rinsing machine around the rim before being handed back out. The same machine is used for everyone’s cups, which personally didn’t seem very hygienic to me. I politely asked staff not to rinse our cups that way, but they continued doing it. I couldn’t really understand the logic behind it, as it didn’t seem like an effective way of cleaning them and, in my opinion, could increase the risk of cross-contamination. Personally, I think either disposable cups or allowing guests to use their own reusable cups would be a much better system. Because of this, we often bought bottled drinks from the hotel shop instead. Illness Before travelling, I’d read so many reviews about guests becoming ill that I honestly considered changing hotels. It made me incredibly anxious before the holiday and I lost quite a bit of sleep worrying about it. In the end, I packed lots of hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes, our own hand soap and even Fairy liquid to wash our reusable cups. Touch wood, this seemed to work for us. Out of our group of 11, only one young child was sick during the holiday. We don’t know whether it was from swallowing pool water, something they ate or just a random upset stomach. As nobody else became ill afterwards, we don’t think it was a contagious bug. That said, on our first morning I heard someone in the room above us being sick. I also spoke to another British guest whose husband had been unwell one evening, and she mentioned another guest they’d spoken to had also been sick. Someone had also been sick near the downstairs toilets. Whether this was food-related, a virus or something else, we simply don’t know. I don’t want this to put anyone off booking because the hotel itself looked very clean throughout our stay. There is hand sanitiser available at the entrance and exit to the restaurant, which was good to see. I’d also read reviews mentioning rats around the bars and pool area, but we didn’t see any at all. Perhaps the hotel has dealt with that issue. We did see a couple of cockroaches at night and a few lizards, but that’s fairly normal in hot countries and wasn’t something that bothered us. Final Thoughts Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our holiday and made the most of every day. The children had an amazing time, came home smiling and created some lovely memories, which is the most important thing. The only downside for me was that I’d read so many negative reviews beforehand that I spent much of the holiday feeling anxious and overly cautious. Looking back, that probably affected my own enjoyment more than anything else. If you’re travelling here soon, I’d say go with an open mind, enjoy yourself and try not to overthink it like I did. Wash your hands regularly, especially before eating, and if it gives you extra peace of mind, pack some antibacterial wipes to give the reusable cups a quick clean before using them. As for the food, just use your own judgement, particularly with meat. I personally avoided it, although one of the men in our group ate plenty of it all week and had no problems whatsoever. Every holiday is different, and this was simply our honest experience.
