Before I start this is a completIy honest review of this hotel as I was so unsure by the previous reviews. I write this review from the balcony of our room on the second night here. I never normally write reviews on hotels abroad but always read them. This one had me worried, we booked afew days away just me and my wife for our 10th anniversary, when reading the reviews about poor/cold food and uncleanness of the hotel we didn't know to expect! Well let me go from the start. On arrival we went to check in, 1pm rooms aren't normally ready till 3 but as it was just the 2 of us they changed our room, case dropped at room and down to the pool, loads of sunbeds and I mean loads, with umbrellas too. Pool towels available with the cards you get when you check in and are exchangeable throughout the day if you wish, around the pool is really clean, music playing but not noisy, if you want really quiet there is another pool further away, entertainment team are great not pushy but will involve you if you want to join in. We didn't bother with lunch as had just arrived but got chips and burgers from the snack bar, totally acceptable temperature and quality, I mean don't leave them sitting on the table and they will be fine. Amstel beer on tap and 0%, white wine is a dry white, cocktails are good 4 of which are on all inclusive (blue lagoon, tequila sunrise, tropical cocktail, Pina collada). Food, well it's not as the previous poor reviews, yes the restaurant is downstairs, there really isn't anywhere else to have such a big open area, and yes it's abit like a canteen but to feed so many people all at once it's kinda got to be! No different to anywhere else we've stayed except for the view from the restaurant but there isn't really a view from the hotel which is why it's downstairs. The choice is as good as anywhere else in menorca, the quality I would say from where we have stayed before is better! No bones in any fish I've had over the last 2 nights! Paellas are great. Sushi night was Monday and was really good. Everything has been hot enough and a massive selection from pizza, pasta, salads, chicken nuggets for little ones to fresh cooked meat and fish. Yes if you get the last few chips out the tray they might be cold but wait afew minutes and the tentative chefs will replenish them. Breakfast and lunch again good with a very good variety absolutely no complaints. Entertainment, Saxophone player on Sunday night was amazing. Movie quiz night we didn't attend but looking forward to the gymnastics stunts tomorrow night. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated,new towels and bed made everyday. There are 2 shops below the hotel that sells the usual inflatables, suncream, pop, sunglasses (if your like my wife and forget them) If we had come with our kids I don't think they would have had much to do without us, only a small splash pool probably suitable for up to 3/4yrs. Although the entertainment team are very good, can't comment on the kids activities as didn't have them with us. If you want an all inclusive where you don't want to leave and just relax, eat and drink then I don't think there's a better place. As previously reviewed there is nothing around but if you've paid for all inclusive then why go anywhere else? Sorry for such a long review but I feel the previous reviews don't do this place justice. Definitely 4⭐ and would love to come back! Thank you to all the team for making our stay great.

“Relaxing by the pool”

The hotel is lovely plenty of sun beds , clean , large room for the night entertainment it’s just out of the way if it’s just relaxing around the pool you like this is for you , nothing really around and the beach it’s mainly rocks no where for the kids to play on the sand but can not fault the hot… more

As far as All inclusive go, these guys are really really good. Lets start with the food, its brilliant, varied, and if you see a review saying the food was cold, they must have had one of the variety of salads, there's something for everyone, the variety and quality is brilliant. Themed night in the restaurant with staff joining in the fun. Staff in large are brilliant, super friendly reception staff and bar staff, the snack bar is good if you want something outside of dinning times. Drinks at the bar are typical AI style but generous measures for sure. Animation team not the best ive seen in the world, but there's something everyday, i would have liked to have seen more live ents, rather than quizzes, but there you are. The pools are brilliant and laid out well, the accommodation and whole site is spotless and a credit to them. We were a couple in our mid 50s, meeting family as a surprise who also had small children, so saw all it had to offer for everyone. The facilities wont disappoint you. A taxi from the airport is only 15euro, and the reception will order you one on departure if you need it. Its pretty remote, but there's a bus stop opposite and Mahon itself its lovely, very very chilled, beautiful place. Mainly Spanish and English guests which was nice, no rude pushing and people reserving sunbeds, but that's not a problem you can walk out at midday and get a bed anywhere. All in all its a great place for a chilled, quality holiday.

When I was looking at the reviews for this place, I didn't see much in the way of families or children so I wanted to make sure I shared my experience. Cons - We had to wait quite a long time for our room to be ready. We arrived at 10:00 a.m. and the rooms weren't ready until 3:00 p.m. So it was quite a lot of hanging around with a 7-month-old was quite difficult to not have a base! (But, they do have a baby room that has changing facilities, bottle warming, a cot and some comfy chairs!) - There is only one place for food and they only do buffet, but the food was pretty good despite the reviews that I'd read for it, but it's quite loud and quite overstimulating. It would be nice if they dimmed the lights for dinner at least. - Not very accommodating when bedtime doesn't match with their dinner time (dinnertime starts at 7pm) and they wouldn't let me make my husband a plate to take with him so he missed out on dinner! - Very little shade Pros - A travel cot was provided and it looked pretty decent compared to some other travel cots. As a short parent, it didn't feel too high either so it was easy to get him up and down. The mattress was really thick and comfy as opposed to a lot of travel cot mattresses! This was already put up when we arrived in our room. - The room that we stayed in in the Taurus block was absolutely perfect because we were directly opposite the smaller pool which was really quiet and perfect for a calm, quiet swim as opposed to a loud playful one which is more for the main pool! - There is a little shop attached to the hotel which do everything from nappies/swim nappies to food pouches and wipes. So it was really reassuring that we didn't really have to take anything with us as we could buy it there! - The high chairs are really good particularly for very young children. My son is 7 months and he wasn't slipping down in it or anything. It held him up quite nicely! - I would say plenty of opportunities for my son to have food there so finger food or vegetables that I can mash up TIPS! - There is a car hire place attached to the hotel and they do have car seats if wanting to hire a car (I would recommend this if you want to do the zoo as it's a little bit of a journey and then if you've hired the car you might as well do Mahon and drive around the island!) but they're only open 9:00 till 11:00 a.m. - If you're getting the bus to Mahon, the bus stop is right outside the hotel and it's one bus straight to the centre and it's only €1.80 per person I believe but it's more like a coach than a bus. So you have to hold the baby and put the pram in the luggage bit. (Goodness knows how wheelchair users in Menorca use the bus!) - When booking, specifically request a ground floor room by the pool (I saw a family on the 3rd floor having to bring pram down stairs!)
