The staff were so accommodating and friendly. I was travelling after an accident and was having to use crutches. Staff were so helpful, understanding and very accommodating, to my two new friends - the crutches. The hotel was very clean and run efficiently. We could not have asked for more. Thank you to all the staff that looked after us. You made our holiday so easy. Right from breakfast service, to ordering taxis.

“Fantastic Hospitality, Dated Property”

This is a tough one for me to review because the hospitality, location and vibe are a 5 but we had a mixed experience with the hotel building itself. Our room and balcony were quite nice but the bathroom had clearly had water issues (visible water damage) and the smell was terrible (mildew). We couldn’t leave the door open. Then, on our 2nd evening there the water shutoff for 1.5 hours. We made the most of it and had a drink at the amazing rooftop bar but it did change our getting ready plans. The staff was spot on regarding when the water would come back on so that was good. Also, I used the bathroom off of the breakfast/restaurant room and the handle broke so I got locked in. Luckily my phone was in my purse so I called the front desk and maintenance came immediately. In short, great location and generally nice with kind staff but a few issues that didn’t match our expectations or what we paid. Really wanted to love it but not quite there.

My fiancé and I stayed at MIM Melia for four days in April. As this is still the off-season in Ibiza, many bars and restaurants were not yet open, so I’m unable to comment on the local dining and nightlife. However, there are several supermarkets within easy walking distance. The hotel is located in a residential area, so there was some background noise at times (children playing, dogs barking, and occasional nearby construction during the day). The hotel itself is a stylish boutique property—very modern and spotlessly clean throughout. The reception area is quite small, but staff were available 24/7 and were generally helpful. I had requested a complimentary room upgrade in advance as an independent travel agent, but this was declined despite apparent availability. We stayed in a superior room with a terrace. While the room was well-designed, it was extremely compact—one of the smallest we have stayed in—and felt quite cramped, with limited space around the bed. The bathroom was also very small, with minimal room for toiletries, although it was modern and the shower was powerful and refreshing. The room did include useful amenities such as a fridge, hairdryer, and a handheld clothes steamer, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, our terrace did not get direct sunlight, so we didn’t use it much due to the cooler weather. The pool area is also quite small and felt a little crowded. There are no traditional sun loungers, only four-poster daybeds, which may not suit everyone—particularly if you prefer to move around to follow the sun. Pool towels are provided, which was convenient. Breakfast offered a limited selection, including fruit, pastries, toast, and a few hot options such as omelettes, scrambled eggs on toast, and eggs Benedict. On one occasion, the eggs Benedict was served cold. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay. It’s a clean, modern hotel in a quieter area, and we would still recommend it—particularly for a short stay outside of peak season.
