We stayed at the Lindner Hotel Mallorca in Portals Nous for six nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located just one block from the bus line, making it easy to explore the area, and there is also a well-stocked grocery store nearby. The hotel amenities were excellent, including both an indoor pool with a sauna and an outdoor pool that included a children’s section. Families with young children will also appreciate the play area on the property. Breakfast was included and offered a wide variety of enjoyable options each morning. We also dined at the hotel restaurant several evenings and were consistently impressed with the quality of the food. Our room overlooked the golf course, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony in the mornings while taking in the beautiful views. Most importantly, the staff was exceptional throughout our stay — from check-in and housekeeping to the dining staff. The front desk team was always accommodating and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit during our trip. Overall, this was a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would gladly return.

We are loyal Hyatt customers. My husband is globalist. We have stayed in over 40 Hyatt properties around the world. We were really excited to bring our young boys to this property. While our stay wasn’t terrible, it left a lot to be desired. First, upon arrival, the bellhop/doorman could not have acted more miserable. When the desk attendant offered us water and sparkling wine, he literally slammed the glasses on top of his bar as he was getting them ready to serve us. That was not a welcoming experience. We had a great dinner. The food and staff at Chumbo Bar are fantastic. We also attended their Saturday bbq and enjoyed it. We return to the room at 9pm, already past bedtime, the pull out bed has not been made. I begin to pull it out myself, to find that there wasn’t even bedding on it or included in the room. The front desk would not answer the phone, so my husband had to go down there and ask for them for help. They sent the same cranky bellman to our room. When he knocked, my husband said ¡hola! and the man didn’t even acknowledge him, just wheeled the bedding into our room. He then took a look at the pulled out bed and says “What are you doing?” incredibly rudely. My husband said, “did we do something wrong?” to which he mumbled something about doing it incorrectly. I couldn’t believe an employee of Hyatt could be so blatantly rude after making the mistake of not making up the children’s bed in the first place! (The front desk could not believe the pull out bed had not been prepared so I know it should have been done). The next downside of our stay was the Kid’s Club. We intentionally booked a stay with a kid’s club because our boys love to play at them and also, it is nice for us to have a break. On Sunday, we had been out and about all day but made it in time for the last hour it was open. However, upon dropping them off, even though the signs say open until 5:30, she said no, it is 5pm. Then we return to the hotel by 1pm on Monday so they can take advantage of the club to find out that there is NO attendant. Why is this not advertised on the door? If it was in writing somewhere, we missed it, but we would never have promised our kids the opportunity or cut our day short for it had we known. Breakfast was good, lots of options, but not amazing. The attendants are only there to clean up after you, not to serve anything which is strange. I would have liked to at least be served an iced espresso drink. That being said, the pools were great. The lifeguard on duty is nice so parents can relax a little bit more than we would be able to otherwise.
