We have just returned back from this hotel travelling as 2 adults and our teenage son. Check in - we arrived mid-morning and were advised the room would not be ready until 2pm. This was fine as we did expect this. We were given our All Inc bands and told we could use all facilities and leave our luggage in the luggage room. We arrived back at reception around 2pm and were given our room cards for our room in block 10 level 2 with a view overlooking the pool area.  Room - whilst making our way to the room, the stairwell and corridor it was very noticeable how worn and dirty they were. The room itself was very spacious for a family of 3 with the bedroom and 2 sofa type beds in the main living area. The room is showing signs of wear and can do with an upgrade. The mattress on the bedroom beds were very hard and uncomfortable compared with the 2 sofas that were much more comfortable. There was no air con and when we asked about this and also enquired about a fan from reception, we were told to leave the balcony door open a finger width as they couldn't turn the AC on or provide a fan! The walls are paper thin and we thought at one point the family next door were going to kill each other. Sleeping in the main room you here every single thing as people pass your door at any time with a light shining through the doorframe also.  Housekeeping - the room itself was cleaned daily during our stay with fresh towels and bedding so that was a positive. However, to the housekeeping lady who thinks its ok to be mopping the corridor floor shouting very loud as she speaks to colleagues from 07:30am needs to get a grip as she woke the 3 of us. We opened the door at 2 separate times on the same morning and told her to be quiet. I then went to reception and put a complaint into reception about it. Totally unacceptable. Pool area - no issues with getting loungers. We managed to get loungers and a bali bed each day without an issue. The pools are quite good and clean. The middle wooden decking steps up to the loungers/bali bed area are in urgent need of being replaced before someone seriously hurts themselves as it is very unsteady and a couple of the decking panels are close to snapping. Chutes - DANGEROUS!! We witnessed countless kids & adults coming down the orange slide and hurting their back, head or both. They are very narrow slides. The steps up to the slides are disgusting and not the best for walking up. The blue mats that are to be used on the 4 enclosed chutes are totally disgusting, black with dirt and slime they are horrible and very unhygienic. Food / drinks - having visited several hotels on various different board basis all-over Spain etc we never really expect the best food wise. However, the food here is hands down the worst we have encountered.  Breakfast - every hot item we put on a plate was freezing cold so that got binned. We had a little bit of chicken one day which was ok and actually cooked properly which was a bonus with seeing pictures and hearing of some other people's experience. We ended up eating all meals out after our 2nd day. The snack bar dishes out burgers and hot dogs only, both are horrific. The burgers are like rubber and by far the worst burger I have attempted to eat. They also do not do chips at snack times!!  As for the pizza truck, during our visit we managed to get 2 slices on the same visit to it that were warm. The rest of the times it was stone cold. A very poor and limited snack menu. The drinks were all fine and just a typical all inc selection. I would like to add that the reception staff were very good and would like to give a special mention to Raul and another man on the bar. Their service was spot on. The hotel is very well located with shops, bars and the beach all close by. Overall, our stay was just ok. Would we stay again? Probably not. It is a large family-based hotel of that we have no issue especially when travelling with a teenager ourselves. However, there are a range of improvements required to bring this hotel upto 4* standard.

“Good, but not if you're after peace and quiet!”

Very large hotel which was busy during Easter hols. Rooms clean and comfortable, good shower with always hot water which you don't get in some hotels! All staff pleasant and efficient. Very large hotel which was busy during Easter hols. Rooms clean and comfortable, good shower with always hot water which you don't get in some hotels! All staff pleasant and efficient. Make sure you check in on-line before arriving as will save a lot of time. Food was good quality if a little repetitive but not surprising when catering for so many. It's a family orientated hotel so plenty to keep the kids occupied. Main gripe was the carnage at meal times with kids running about everywhere with no parental restraint.

The hotel is great and the daytime by the pool is fantastic with a great family atmosphere. There are two restaurants but even though we were all inclusive, we could only use one. We were very annoyed to hear that there is a Magnus option which makes you a 'special all inclusive customer'. The restaurant was always packed and people rushing to get to their seats before their food was any colder than it already was. Surprised there wasn't any accidents while we were there. Staff were taking plates away and clearing tables efficiently. The bar area had two queues, one for all inclusive and one for Magnus all inclusive. One was busy every evening. Actually felt a bit sorry for the dirty looks that the Magnus customers were getting. We did a cocktail making class by the pool which was fantastic! Room was spacious, clean and a good standard. Magaluf itself was great and we took a day trip to Palma which is a 40 minute bus journey from the road outside of the hotel. Evening entertainment was the usual you'd expect. Magician was magic 😏 We would definitely return to the area but not that hotel unfortunately. I imagine that restaurant and bar by the entertainment in the summer would be very stressful.
