I loved this hotel. At check-in, my room requests were mentioned and confirmed. I was given a very welcome glass of Cava and sat down in the lovely foyer to relax before going to my room. The superior room was spacious and everything worked. I didn't pick a room with terrace and was glad as my room had a glass, floor to ceiling door to a tiny juliet balcony, which was all I wanted. Fresh air and a sea view to the right. Rooms on the other side of the hotel with terrace had a view of apartments which wasn't great. You could pay extra again for a sea view with terrace. The hotel had a basement pool bar and restaurant. Limited food choice but I had a lovely chicken caesar salad for €17.50. You can sit in the spacious restaurant which looks out onto a terrace where you can also sit, eat or have a drink. This then overlooks the pool and beyond that, the sea. A wonderful, relaxing setting. The waiter was very helpful, friendly and kind. One floor up, the restaurant served buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Again, indoor or terrace dining, overlooking the sea. There is a wellness centre and a small gym. This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in on my travels in Europe. It is also reasonably priced for the area. Surrounding area has a few, low key mini markets, a doctor's clinic reopening in May, hair salon. Further down is a restaurant, car rental, bicycle rental and you can also rent a bicycle from the hotel for €35.00 daily - April price. Bus stop to Palma - number 4 -outside hotel - takes about 20 minutes. The buses pass every 10 minutes or so. Bus also along the coast in the other direction - number 123. Exclusive Puerto Portals is on this route. Brad Pitt rumoured to have a villa in this area. The lovely Illetas beach is about 10 minutes stroll from the hotel. Small and not crowded - but then it was April. Quite steep coming back but taxis always available. Everyone friendly and always greeted in shops and throughout hotel with 'hola'. I don't usually return to the same place, but lovely Illetas and the hotel stole my heart, so hopefully I'll be back.

“Excellent overall !”

Very good but quiet hotel located just a short bus ride from the centre of Palma. Right on the coast with nice walks locally. Great staff (friendly and professional) and very good food in buffet form. Would definitely return!

We booked one of the best rooms. Unfortunately, people could see in from the road/ side street/ surrounding apartments. Couldn’t fault it. Reception helpful. Apart from the room view we had a lovely weekend

Here now for 9 nights , so thoughts up to now . After visiting the group over the last 12 months and spending over £5000 weeks have a level of loyalty which after this visit will take. In practice how it works ,asked for early check in , after being up since 4 am wanted to chill asap !.arrived around 10.30am and the reception took my phone number to ring me when room ready ,no welcome drink offered . Rainy cold day so ordered coffee and waited . Got to 1 pm and decided to wander as rain stopped got back at 2 but told room was ready at 1..30 buy phone had run out !!! . Upgrade not offered ( another loyalty perk). Daily water in room perk after the second day not provided had to chase . Room clean modern and spacious , superior room with terrace high floor requested so on 5 th floor good sea views .60’s style exterior bar the rear of the property which looks very smart almost like an add on beautiful terracing and sea views , restaurant and bar . No comfortableounge/ bar to sit at night there’s is one but was barred and not in use , alternate was to sit in pool bar / restaurant which had only one settee area with large screen tv advertising Barcelo , no atmosphere,no one seems to use it bar a few having bar meals . First and foremost seems to be a conference hotel . One drawer in the bedroom nowhere to put clothes other than hang in wardrobe, but staff provided small set of drawers when asked !. I filled in the pre check-in online stating I had nut allergy and )lactose intolerant and they had obviously taken onboard as ,the welcome gift (loyalty perk )was a nice fruit platter and couple of jelly sweets,myopinion is slightly askew as our last stay was at 5 star San Blas in Tenerife and was upset spoken to this morning for taking lactose free milk back to the room for my morning cuppa .He suggested that the capsules of cafe cream are provided in the room . Well as any Brit knows Tea Is not the same with coffee cream in it and we are so particular about our cuppa . I always take my own favourite tea bags ! As I had informed receptionist of my Intolerences I would have liked to have a morning cuppa without. buying milk which I offered to do .he should have given his attention to two young ladies making sandwiches from the buffet and plastic bags to take out of the restaurant in full view of the staff. Food in Restauwas at times cool and not refreshed but the chefs went over and above to provide a nut free dessert after the first4nights of offering fruit or ice cream only . Staff were generally helpful and friendly , . Pool being repainted so bed were spaced touching if a few people by the pool .area quite hilly so need a car but bus services are great €2 to anywhere , stops outside .
