On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent and the hotel itself is very clean. We had everything we needed in our room, luxurious hand wash, hand/body cream, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Kettle, tea and coffee, no milk but we had a fridge so bought milk from the supermarket. Comfortable beds, pillows, clean linen and towels, housekeeping -perfect. Friendly atmosphere in the restaurant, we ordered a tasty breakfast from the varied menu. Not quite enough space on the table for all the dishes, as it all comes at once - we managed though! The rooftop and bar - really stunning and a good place for relaxing.

“A return visit”

This is my second time at JS plaza Palma as a solo traveller. It’s an outstanding hotel with the most lovely and helpful staff. The housekeeping is exceptional. I rarely visit a hotel twice but its central location is ideal, albeit the views are not that of a beach side hotel. The rooftop bar and sun area makes up for this and exceptionally in February with temperatures in the 20s I was able to make use of it . You can see (and walk to) Bellver castle in the distance. Walk to the sea front with its magnificent yachts takes about 15 minutes and now the improvements are almost finished it’s a pleasure to stroll along . I used the small spa and was the only person in - marvellous . The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I would say however that the menu was the same as last year so could do with an overhaul in my opinion . The restaurant is used by locals so no better endorsement than that . In addition, breakfast , you chose from a menu of items so food waste is a minimum. Mini fridge is filled for your first day and tea/coffee in the room so a nice touch. The corridors always smell amazing. Travelled with Jet2

We booked this as a last minute Easter Break, it was more than we usually pay for accommodation, but it had good reviews and the location seemed good. We arrived early at around 10am, met by Poly, who was friendly and helpful. We checked in, left our luggage as the room would not be ready until 2pm. We booked a 'junior suite' as all the double rooms were taken. (Room 209) We had a wander down to the Cathedral and returned at 2pm to check into the room. It was a good size, huge floor to ceiling opening doors which I thoroughly enjoyed! (As I am always hot!) There was twin beds made up as a double (Not zipped, so potential to go down in the middle!) Small bathroom, great shower, lots of products, hairdryer, good lighting. There was a desk, tv, sofa, safe, plenty of space to hang clothes and a safe. I'm not sure the extra cost of a suite was worth it, if I am honest, but it was comfortable. The view was over the side street, which was great at night to watch everything going on! The location is good. It's a 10 minute walk to the old town, a 10 minute walk to the marina and has everything you need within the immediate area; supermarket, wine store (open until 3am!), cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a basement gym and small pool and sauna. You can get treatments for an extra cost. Other half went to the gym a few times on the running machine, he enjoyed it. There is a roof terrace with a plunge pool (freezing, but the brave did jump in!), double sun beds, chairs, tables, sunbeds, sofas and a roof top bar. We sat up there a few times, it's lovely and gets the sun all day until sunset. The dining room is on the ground floor and is a light airy space which is relaxing (bit hot in an evening, but they probably still have the heating on!) We had dinner the first night and it was so good, we went every night! The chicken Caesar Salad is the best we've ever had in Europe!! I'd go back just for that, plus our lovely waitress who every night had our drinks ready when we walked in, she was friendly and the service was great (sorry I didn't get her name!) We also had breakfast included in our rate which was nice. It's a breakfast menu and served at your table (so, no filling your handbags with croissants and pastries at this one!) We always had fresh orange juice, hot drinks, eggs cooked many ways (the omelettes were great) and a couple of times we had the English Breakfast. Lots of choice and definitely set you up for the day. Overall, a great stay, roof top was a bonus after a long day wandering around. It's on a busy corner for traffic, but double glazing shuts all of that out. The only thing I had a bit of an issue was I found the mattress quite hard. I would definitely recommend it.
