We booked a swim up junior suite and it was fantastic to have our own bit of swimming pool for the kids to play in and come in and out of the room while we relaxed a bit. The food and drink offering was really impressive- the variety and quality of food in the Market buffet restaurant surpassed our expectations and having the option of the à la carte restaurants a couple of evenings made it feel special. Finally, the service at the hotel was excellent and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend it more!

“Pleasant and chilled stay at ZPP”

Hotel is beautifully laid out, lovely views and has a positive feel to it. Food was excellent and we had no issues at all.

We booked this hotel last year and I emailed in a long time in advance to request adjoining rooms if possible, they said they could not guarantee this. On arrival our rooms weren't ready and they weren't adjoining. We have stayed at several Zafiro Hotels before and really enjoyed the hotel and facilities. I had specifically chosen a hotel with a "Teens club" as our 13 year old enjoys the team sports / activities / games room / X box and always makes a friend. We tried to log onto the app using the hotel data but it would not load. When I asked at reception about the Teens Club I was told it isn't running, nothing was being provided despite being advertised on the hotel website and our booking confirmation. This is not acceptable when you have chosen a hotel based on this. The rooms were nice. The main pools were freezing so everyone was using the pools adjoining the swim up rooms as they were warmer but the bar next to them was closed. No music round any of the pools so lacking atmosphere. On the second to last day the pools had warmed up so I'm guessing they had received lots of complaints and decided to heat them. The food in the buffet restaurant was of a good quality but several things were only luke warm NOT hot. I'm guessing they were under staffed as plates were frequently stacked up on tables and not cleared, one night we had our starters, main and dessert plates all still on the table when we left. Another evening we were shown to a table which was set but when we pulled the chairs out the floor was covered in food. We eventually flagged a waiter done and ordered drinks which were delivered to us in bottles but no glasses. The speciality Sushi restaurant was really good but we arrived on Monday and the first time we could book in was on Saturday. The italian was poor and Mediterranean OK but not great service despite there only being 3 other tables in besides us. The adult activities were extremely poor. At other Zafiro Hotels my husband has taken part in archery, shooting and darts. This only had pilates/yoga or water aerobics. Definitely not what I expect from a 5 star, a 4 star at best. Don't think we'll return to Zafiro.
