This is our 5 visit to Zafiro & our 2nd to Palmanova Palace. Without a doubt our favourite hotel group on our favourite island. The Palmanova Palace is exceptional & we can’t wait to re book for next June. The separate restaurants to the main buffet restaurant are all amazing, I like the option of being All inclusive but still feeling like you’re going out for a meal & ordering from a menu. The cocktails are 10/10 & we love the poolside snack bar, especially for lunch for the kids & mojitos for me. We love this hotel

“Lifeguard”

We are currently staying at the hotel and wanted to recognise the excellent lifeguard working around the pool area. He goes above and beyond his role, he helps guests with beds , collects glasses whilst the pool is empty. I just felt he needed recognition.

Absolutely fantastic hotel for families, couples and friends. It felt like a luxurious 5 star hotel that was super family friendly but didn’t give that “overrun by kids” feeling. The food, cocktails and beer selection was the best “all inclusive” I’ve had and the al a carte restaurants were like fine dining. Excellent facilities such as the gym and indoor pool (we didn’t use the spa) and everywhere in the hotel was spotless. I would definitely recommend going all inclusive as everything (including all al a cartes, cocktails and drinks) was included - it was expensive to pay there if it AI. Would definitely return!

We enjoyed an amazing 10 days here in a swim up room as a family of 3, all inclusive, this being our first ever stay at a 5*. All the staff are very friendly, the grounds of the hotel are stunning and the food at the buffet restraunt is the best we've ever experienced given the food was never cold, there was always lots of choice and they had some great themed nights ( our faves being chinese and mexican nights!). At breakfast the pancakes and waffles were a hit! We used La Veranda restaurant for lunch a few times and really enjoyed it, we also managed to book here one evening for the a la carte. We really wanted to book into the Italian place too but were only offered 9pm bookings which was too late for us ( we were looking right from the start of our 10 day stay too). We'd like to give a huge shout out to the photo team, we've come away with some gorgeous family photos, they were amazing with our non-verbal son. The hotel is in a fab location as its set back from all the bars etc but only a 5 minute walk into the heart of palma nova from the back gate. There is an Eroski supermarket close by which is extremely handy. For us there were a few things that we thought let the hotel down a little. Firstly the swim up room, while this was amazing and very convenient with the little one, we knew anyone are able to use the sun beds opposite but what we didn't consider is this actually makes your room feel less private as people are facing not just the pool but your room too. As its a 5* place it is ashame the swim ups aren't setup like at the 4* hotels so outside doesn't go directly into your room/bed area. We were in block 3 and the water level in the swim up pool dropped quite low several times in our stay, it didn't appear to happen in other blocks from what we saw. Our son loved sitting on the side to splash his feet/legs in the water, there were several days he couldnt with the drop in water. The fake grass does get extremely hot so something to bear in mind with young children. Mini bar replenishment - the young man that did this only ever offered us the water, we always had to ask him to top up anything else we'd used. As we'd technically paid for this being AIl Inclusive we thought this was a little naughty and as standard everything should be replenished. Cocktails & drinks - the menu seemed quite limited, we thought being at a 5* they would be really fancy with lots of fruit etc but sadly not, no fruit and they seemed to use lots of 'foams' instead and there is not a single cider drink on the menu for those who do not like lager. This is our second stay at a Zafiro hotel and are keen to stay at others on the island but we would certainly come back!
