I absolutely love this hotel, staff were helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble food and service were all great with a wide choice of food available to cater for everyone. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and lots to do for children of all ages. Would highly recommend, I will definitely be returning

“Good hotel with a few small complaints”

Overall we had a good time but a few things made it a 4 star review instead of a 5. Rooms nice and clean. Nice big balcony. Overall we had a good time but a few things made it a 4 star review instead of a 5. Rooms nice and clean. Nice big balcony. Food was hit and miss not as much choice as some other hotels we've stayed in in majorca. I liked the omlettes at breakfast. The a la carte was a let down wouldn't recommend. Pools were nice and sun beds wasn't too hard to get. Only thing was by the quieter pool with beds there is uneven flooring, i fell, cut my knee and twisted my ankle, had a limp for a couple days. Someone else in our family almost fell at the same spot a few days later so be careful. Alcoholic drinks were hit and miss I ordered aperol spritz a few times and it tasted terrible so couldn't drink it. The cava was bad too! Entertainment not bad, our 7 year old liked the mini disco. The sound system was really bad one night I felt sorry for the singer! Overall we had a nice stay.

Having previously stayed at two other Zafiro hotels in different locations, we were looking forward to our stay at Zafiro Palma and overall had a pleasant family holiday. The biggest positive was how child-friendly the hotel is. Our children absolutely loved the pools, especially the inflatable bouncy pillow in the water, which was a real highlight of the trip. The lifeguards also deserve special mention – they were always attentive, friendly, and appeared genuinely focused on keeping everyone safe around the pool areas. The rooms were comfortable enough and were cleaned regularly throughout our stay, which we appreciated. There were, however, a few areas where the experience fell short compared to other Zafiro properties we’ve visited. We found some of the entertainment staff were not particularly warm or welcoming and, on occasion, came across as quite sharp with children, which was disappointing given the hotel’s family focus. The buffet food was decent but became quite repetitive after a few days. We were also disappointed by the à la carte restaurant, which was simply a sectioned-off area within the main buffet restaurant rather than offering a genuinely different dining experience. One thing we particularly missed from other Zafiro hotels was having a dedicated lunch restaurant separate from the buffet, which helped provide more variety during the day. Given the cost of the holiday, we expected a higher standard and greater variety of food than was on offer. While there was always something to eat, the dining experience did not quite match the premium price point or the standards we had experienced at other Zafiro hotels. Overall, Zafiro Palma offers a good family-friendly holiday with excellent pool facilities and attentive lifeguards, but there are a few aspects that could be improved, particularly the food offering and some elements of the entertainment team, especially when compared with other Zafiro hotels.

Nice hotel and good holiday but some bits are a let down. Pros; - Pools are excellent. Lots of fun to be had by the kids in the pirate splash pool and on the inflatable in the main pool. - Sunbeds - the hotel stop beds being reserved for more than 40 mins, placing a warning note on beds they find unattended. This prevents an early morning rush so everyone can sleep and enjoy their holiday. Also multiple lifeguards on duty throughout the day. - Very good drink selection including wine list for AI and even selection of kids cocktails. - Rooms nice and cleaned everyday other than Sunday and Wednesday. Cons; - No pool snacks during the day other than ice cream. For a 4 star was surprised you couldn’t order a poolside burger etc. - Food - generally good with a reasonable selection but often not hot and my partner found the fish fingers we had selected for our 18 month old were actually raw inside. - À la Carte - not as advertised. You sit in the same restaurant but just order off a menu and the food is average. - Hotel tries to play to its 4 star status by taking drink orders but is often really slow at taking them and delivering drinks which is just unnecessary where they could just add a jug of water on a table and a beer/wine tap in restaurant as most similar hotels do. It means meals were often completed before drinks arrived. - Only one public baby change toilet for the entire ‘family’ hotel which you also had to speak to the bar staff to access a key for which seemed absurd and unnecessary. - Lots of steps throughout hotel and hard work with a pram.
