We have been coming to this hotel since 2018, immaculately clean, the staff really make this hotel. Warm welcome from Reception team, very professional with lots of knowledge. Mar, Oljii, Sara, Antonia and the rest of the reception team amazing service. Amazing breakfasts, with views over Port de Sóller Bay. Restaurant produce amazing meals using local Mallorcan produce. The bar staff are incredible, great mixologists. The best Red Sangria in Mallorca. The views are Breathtaking, recommend booking a Sea View room, to waken up, hearing the sea gently lapping on the beach. Amazing sunset views. Such a stunningly beautiful area. Beds incredibly comfortable, we get such a good peaceful sleep staying at Esplendido. We will definitely return.

We have returned to Esplendido every year since 2010, with a few exceptions during Covid etc. It remains our holiday destination of choice, and we want to explain why.. There are three distinctive characteristics about the Esplendido hotel. The first is its location, perfectly positioned to capture the commanding view of the entrance to Puerto Sóller’s horseshoe bay, framing of each sunset between the two headlands, it is the perfect ‘instagram’ view for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The tram from Soller trundles by the front door every half hour, and just across the road you find the beach and the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea. The second reason is the hotel and facilities. Sea view rooms literally are a stones throw from the sea. Garden rooms open onto immaculate manicured terraces and present the perfect vista of the bay. Rooms are spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. You know each wall has been freshly painted, each carpet meticulously cleaned, this is the cleanest hotel we have ever had the privilege to visit. The third and most important feature is the people. Checking in, going for breakfast, dining in the evening, are invariably met with smiles, ‘welcome back’ , and sometimes hugs….. We have nothing but praise for the reception team who cannot do enough for you, the housekeeping team who never stop cleaning, the food and beverage team who treat you as old friends, and the maintenance team who work in the background to keep everything running smoothly. Our strongest recommendation is that we have managed 13 stays in 16 years. The years we missed we didn't go anywhere. Every time we leave we are planning when we can return, because it really is that good….

It’s a hotel straight out of a Wes Anderson film. As a family, we had the pleasure of spending a few days at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised for the second time, which we were absolutely delighted about. The hotel is styled like a Fin de Siècle grand hotel, yet modern. The vistas looking out over the bay are wonderful. The à la carte breakfast in a quiet atmosphere was highly enjoyable. The two pools were also lovely, offering plenty of space for the children to play. Everything was taken care of for us. The hotel has plenty of staff who look after the guests wonderfully and with touching care. Thank you, dear Esplendito team. We will be back.
