Recently returned from a four night stay at this lovely hotel. Our room was upgraded on arrival, which was a nice surprise, and we had an incredible view of the Mediterranean from our balcony. The room itself was very clean with plenty of wardrobe space (housekeeping staff were friendly and work so hard) and the only thing missing was the facility to make tea and coffee. But that’s a small criticism of an otherwise great room with a very comfortable kingsize bed. The hotel itself is very spacious, with a large restaurant and bar area, and beautiful gardens around the grounds - although a few people were out there reserving sunbeds first thing in the morning so that was a bit annoying. I do need to mention the fantastic gym on the top floor with fantastic views - doing a workout whilst overlooking the Mediterranean is a wonderful experience (my local gym overlooks a McDonalds). We used the gym twice during our stay and pretty much had it to ourselves each time. We didn’t use the sauna or hot tub, but should we make a return visit then we’ll definitely give them a go. As for the food, it was delicious and there was plenty of it. I’m vegetarian but had no issues finding something decent to eat - wonderful salads, rice and pasta dishes, plus lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. And the cakes! You must try the cakes. The beach is only a ten minute walk away, and is well worth a visit. It’s so clean and there are sunbeds available (for a fee, of course) or you can just do as we did and take a beach towel then find a sunny spot and relax. Came home feeling very relaxed and with a great tan. This hotel is perfect if you need somewhere peaceful to recharge for a while. We also met some lovely people from all over Europe, everyone was so friendly. Hotel staff were amazing and we’ll definitely book here again, should we return to Mallorca.

“AMAZING”

The best holiday I’ve had in ages, so chilled and relaxed didn’t want to come home. Amazing staff always helpful and couldn’t do enough. Food was good always something you’d like. And the views omg were amazing definitely go back

We stayed at JS Cape Colom for a week in June and had a lovely, peaceful holiday. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout our stay, and all of the staff were friendly, attentive and worked incredibly hard. The all-inclusive food was very good, with a great selection at every meal, and the all-inclusive drinks were excellent too, with plenty of choice. There were always lots of sun loungers and umbrellas available, so we never struggled to find somewhere to relax. One of the highlights of this hotel is the direct access to the sea via the steps. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming or snorkelling – we loved seeing all the fish. There’s also a lovely beach around a 10-minute walk away if you prefer sand. The hotel has two swimming pools. We mainly used the pool by the bar, which was lovely but definitely on the cool side! My fiancé didn’t mind it at all, though. There are also tennis courts if you fancy being a bit more active, along with a gym on the top floor, which I used a couple of times. The equipment was good and the views were amazing, although it could do with better air conditioning as it became quite stuffy. The sauna and steam room looked nice, but unfortunately they weren’t operating during the entire week we stayed. We stayed in Room 104, which was a good size with a large bathroom, a nice shower, comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe space, and a safe available for an additional charge. The only slight downside was that there was a huge tree directly outside our room, so we didn’t have a view. However, it did provide plenty of shade during the day, which was actually quite nice. The entertainment in the evenings was fantastic, with some incredibly talented performers. The hotel is in a great location with a pharmacy, a doctor’s surgery and plenty of shops nearby, making it really convenient if you need anything during your stay. We visited while the World Cup was on and found BBC One had quite a poor signal, although the other English TV channels worked well and the room had a nice modern TV. One thing worth mentioning, although it’s not the hotel’s fault, is that after school finishes local children tend to gather just outside the hotel grounds. They can be quite loud and temporarily interrupt the peaceful atmosphere. My fiancé and I simply moved to a quieter area of the hotel until they had gone, so it wasn’t a major issue. There are also quite a few seagulls around, and they’ll happily help themselves to unattended food! Thankfully, the staff are quick to clear away plates, which helps. The only real downside to the hotel itself is that there’s just one small, slow lift serving the entire building. We were on the first floor so mostly used the stairs, but I imagine this could be frustrating for guests staying on higher floors or for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return, perhaps during a quieter time of year. Thank you to everyone at JS Cape Colom for such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Just came back from j so colom Hotel was lovely and clean .our room was cleaned every day .only wished we had a kettle in room . It was too quite for me .out side hotel wasn't anything to do. The pool I was disappointed with as the water was very cold .and I couldn't get in some people did go in The larger pool was warmer But could never get a su nlounger there And only went 2 times in ten days stay The beach was lovely just a short walk The closest shop was a spa supermarket 2 gift shops the bars and restaurants were quite as well except for when football was on . I felt that this wasn't for me so unfortunately I wouldn't go again .
