We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! Everything was outstanding, and the staff is truly excellent — attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is perfect, right on Cala Egos beach, we upgraded to a sea view and it was gorgeous. Inside, the hotel is a bit tired looking, stains on carpet corridors, dirty walls etc. The room is cleaned daily but floor isn't swept, ours had a lot of hair that wasn't ours under the bed! The location is perfect, right on Cala Egos beach, we upgraded to a sea view and it was gorgeous. Inside, the hotel is a bit tired looking, stains on carpet corridors, dirty walls etc. The room is cleaned daily but floor isn't swept, ours had a lot of hair that wasn't ours under the bed! The pool area is also a bit dirty, could do with being swept and hosed each morning. We each had a massage and would recommend! We were half board it it was perfect, water etc with dinner is reasonable. The two a la carte restaurants are great, service is so friendly in them and the food was all delicious. Such a nice walk to Cala D'Or from the hotel. We would definitely return and just ask the hotel to sweep our room.

The hotel was overall very good, with a few issues worth mentioning. When we first arrived, the room we were given had what was described as a sea view, but it was actually obstructed by a large tree. It seems this affects multiple rooms, and it’s not made clear when booking. Thankfully, after complaining, we were moved to a better room with a clearer sea view. However, it was on a lower floor, and staff didn’t seem particularly happy about the change — there may have even been a slightly rude comment made. Another issue was that the original room wasn’t clean when we entered. There were pizza boxes and signs it hadn’t been properly serviced, which was disappointing. Once moved, the new room itself was very nice, with good amenities and facilities. The only downside was that the balcony didn’t get much sun. Overall, the hotel is very aesthetically pleasing, with lovely surroundings and mostly friendly, communicative staff. The entertainment was decent, with different acts each night, although it did become a bit repetitive as many performed similar songs. The rooftop area was a highlight — the jacuzzi was a perfect temperature and the views were amazing. Unfortunately, the bar wasn’t open as it was out of season, but it would likely be fantastic during peak times. We didn’t use the outdoor pool much due to how cold it was but the indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna were all excellent. Massages are available at the hotel, although quite expensive — we found much better prices in the nearby town. Food was a bit of a letdown. As a picky eater, I didn’t find many appealing options, and my partner felt the same. Although there appeared to be variety online, in reality, choices felt limited or overly complicated. There weren’t many simple or “safe” options like chips, burgers, or similar foods at the main buffet, and lunch and dinner felt quite repetitive. That said, the dining area itself is lovely, especially if you sit by the glass with a sea view. The snack bar by the pool was much better, offering more casual options like chips, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, salads, and fruit throughout the day. You could eat in a shaded area or on your sunbed, which was great. Initially, the drink token system at the pool bar was confusing — you pay a small deposit for a cup and can only exchange it for one drink at a time, which felt a bit restrictive. Beach access is nice, but it’s worth noting the beach is not private to the hotel, which was a bit misleading. The beach bar and facilities are also not included, despite expectations from the description. The hotel is in a quiet area, but it’s only a short and inexpensive taxi ride to the nearby town, which is definitely worth visiting. It’s also worth noting the overall atmosphere. As a young couple (20 and 21), we found the hotel was mainly geared towards an older crowd, with the majority of guests being older couples or pensioners. There were a few younger and middle-aged couples, but it definitely leans more towards a quieter, older demographic. Overall, despite a few frustrations, it’s a beautiful hotel with great facilities and potential for an even better experience, especially during peak season.
