My partner and I had a one week stay at this hotel in July, it was our first visit there, from the moment we arrived, the high standards and friendliness of the staff was evident, the hotel is spotless and beautifully kept, the food choice in the main restaurant is fantastic and again of very high standards, there are three other restaurants which are also amazing, the Italian in particular was our favourite, the manager there Felix made sure our dining experience was a good one! There are two pools with plenty of sun beds and a poolside snack bar, be ready for the quantity in these ‘snacks’ it’s a lot!! We went all inclusive which was definitely value for money, two visits to the à la cart restaurants are included, the alcohol and cocktail choice is great, the staff everywhere were friendly and helpful, the rooms, we had a standard double with a balcony overlooking the pool which was lovely, the main bar has a beautiful terrace with lots of lovely seating around it, perfect for afternoon drinks or inside for some shade, a five min walk from the hotel gets you to some lovely bars, restaurants and little shops, 10 min walk away is the gorgeous harbour which again has a good range of bars and restaurants, lastly I have to mention the beautiful and amazing Manager, Maru, her friendliness and kindness made our holiday a special one, all round this hotel gets a 10/10 from us and we are definitely booking again next year!

Great hotel - definitely a place to return to. I booked a sea view suite which came with 2 balconies and amazing view. Room was spacious and comfy. I slept like a baby. Great hotel - definitely a place to return to. I booked a sea view suite which came with 2 balconies and amazing view. Room was spacious and comfy. I slept like a baby. Room key coded in a wrist band was a great idea- very practical. Cleaning service was on a proper level. Food was superb- great choice and high quality products every day. Perhaps the best food I had in a hotel. MyFavorite breakfast at Marea restaurant was super tasty and I could eat having the bay view. Staff was friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the evening entertainment program. Initially I was worried about parking the car given the high season but it was absolutely not an issue. One of the largest assets of this hotel is its location in a beautiful bay. However I acknowledge that the beach is public, hotel could take daily care about its cleanliness- this is the only constructive feedback I’d like to give.

The Only Review You Need About AluaSoul Mallorca My partner and I have stayed in several similar 4-star adults-only resorts over the past couple of years, including TUI Blue hotels and another 4-star resort in Corfu, so we had a good benchmark before arriving at AluaSoul Mallorca. Overall, I'd describe this hotel as 3.5 stars rather than a strong 4 star hotel. Some aspects genuinely deserve four stars, while others fall noticeably short. First Impressions Our first impression was excellent. Reception staff were warm and welcoming, we were offered complimentary cava and water on arrival, and the hotel itself looked modern, clean and well presented. The only frustrating part was check-in. We arrived before our room was ready, which was completely understandable and were told to come back in an hour and a half. When we returned, one member of staff said it would be "five more minutes." Fifteen minutes later, nobody had updated us, and we had to ask again at reception ourselves to ask another member of staff. It wasn't a huge issue but after an early morning flight, it would have been nice if someone had simply kept us informed rather than us having to chase. Rooms & Housekeeping The rooms were exactly what you'd expect from a good 4-star hotel—modern, comfortable and very clean. Housekeeping was excellent throughout the week, and we genuinely couldn't fault it. Pool & Hotel Facilities The pool area was lovely, clean and well maintained every day. The drinks were good for an all-inclusive. Crushed ice cocktails were actually blended rather than made with syrup, and there was a good choice throughout the day. Getting a sunbed could be difficult during busy periods. However, towards the end of our stay, management and the lifeguard started placing warning notices on loungers that had been left unattended for over an hour. We thought this was a brilliant idea, and the lifeguard did a great job making sure people weren't reserving beds all day without using them. Staff The staff were honestly the highlight of the holiday. Every member of staff we spoke to was friendly, hardworking and welcoming, especially the restaurant team. They really made the experience and deserve a lot of credit. The entertainment staff were great also, lots of activities throughout the day and were very enthusiastic and you could see they really enjoy their job. Night entertainment fell very short compared to previous 4 star hotels we have stayed in. Without being overly harsh, we would of much rather headed up to the room after dinner than stayed downstairs, you could see this was the case with the other guests by the look on their faces during some nights of the entertainment. Location The location is excellent. The hotel sits right next to a lovely public beach which, despite being popular, never felt overcrowded. You're also only a five-minute walk from Cala Egos's restaurants, bars and shops, making it a great base for exploring. The only slight downside wasn't really the hotel's fault—taxis around Cala d'Or can be difficult to get during busy periods. Hotel Layout One thing worth mentioning is the layout of the hotel. Depending on where your room is, it can be quite a walk, and the lift system is surprisingly frustrating. There are only two lifts, they seem to stop randomly, and waiting for one can take quite a while. We were on the third floor so it wasn't too bad, but I imagine guests staying higher up could find it frustrating. Food Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment. We're definitely food lovers and we're not particularly fussy so you can trust this food review! We've experienced what other 4-star all-inclusive hotels offer, and this simply didn't match that standard. Breakfast was genuinely very good every morning. Lunch and dinner, however, were consistently average. The buffet was always clean and tidy, but the selection felt limited and repetitive. There was a heavy focus on fried and oven-cooked food, with fewer fresh options than we'd expected. We often found ourselves eating mostly carbohydrates because there simply wasn't much choice for quality meat or fish. The seasoning on most of the food was bland, boring and repetitive. One of the biggest issues was the food labelling. It was genuinely poor, with labels often placed awkwardly on top of dishes, making it difficult to know what anything actually was. Often times there was food without labels. It wasn't until a couple of days into the holiday that we even realised there was a grill station preparing fresh meat, simply because it wasn't advertised clearly. This was I think more of our fault to be honest but could definitely benefit from clear signage.. As part of the all-inclusive package, you can book three meals in the speciality restaurants. We only tried the Italian restaurant, and unfortunately it wasn't much better than the main buffet however service was fantastic. The pool side bar food that was served from 3pm onwards each day for all inclusive guests and was much better than the main buffet that was on offer. Overall, the food wasn't terrible—it was just below what we'd expect from a 4-star adults-only hotel. The cooking staff you could see were working hard, but we think this is more of a produce issue rather than the skill of the staff. Final Verdict Despite the food letting it down, we still had a really enjoyable holiday. The staff are exceptional, the rooms are clean and modern, the pool area is great, and the location is fantastic. If AluaSoul Mallorca improved the quality, variety and presentation of its food, improved the night entertainment and had a slightly more luxurious feel it would comfortably deserve its 4-star rating and we would be much more inclined to return. As it stands, we'd rate it 3.5/5. Would we return? Probably not for the money that we paid for the stay via Jet2Holidays. However this is not due to the staff and location which are the hotels real strength
