I'd looked at this hotel several times before but was always put off by the awful, plastic waterslide feature which I assumed meant the place was overrun with small children. Well, I was proved very wrong. Yes, the waterslide is there (but you hardly notice it) and yes, there are a lot of small children but there is a huge amount more to this hotel. First impressions were positive with a pristine, tranquil reception area and small manicured garden with fish ponds. We had one of the premier rooms with outdoor day-bed but I would not bother with this again as we did not use it. I'd rather book one of the 1st or 2nd floor rooms with balcony. Our apartment did have a full size bed adjacent to the living room which was perfect for our 16yo as it gave us all a bit of space and privacy. The hotel is made up of 4 separate blocks, only 3 floors high. Each corridor has a water dispenser and rooms have fridge and microwave so ideal for families. Highlights for us were: - the AI drinks (my liver is still recovering) Never had to queue once and they have waiter service at night - the food. I hate excessive buffets and associated food-waste but the the hotel's was perfect with something to suit everyone, freshly prepared, regularly replenished and 'theme' nights. - the animation team. Onsite entertainment is simply not my thing but these guys, especially Andrea, were great. No cajoling of guests wanting to keep themselves to themselves but genuinely there to make sure those who did, had a good time. The water polo was especially entertaining and my shy son even joined in. It was as entertaining to watch as it was to take part! The paella and sangria demo was also very good. - the staff. All friendly and efficient. Arrived home to discover that husband left his Kindle behind and they're currently sorting out its return. - cleanliness. Absolutely no issues. - location. At the far end of the Pine Walk so very quiet and an enjoyable, 20-30 minute stroll to the centre of town. Downsides - the gym. Not up to much at all. If you're serious about training, use the private one in town. - suite with outside day-bed. Not worth the extra money in my opinion - evening entertainment. I can't comment on that for children but there was not much for adults. That said, most people seemed happy to entertain themselves. I'd say this hotel offers something for everyone - solo travellers, friends, couples and families. I usually return from hotels saying "it was good but....." On this occasion I really struggle to find fault and I can understand why people return year after year. I certainly would !

“What a gem!”

Just back from 10 days and couldn’t have been happier. Resort is smaller than others I have been to, about 150 rooms, I liked this as everything was close. Visited in mid June and was quiet at start but got busier, mainly babies. Great pool for little ones but also a deeper pool at 1.4m for adults.… more

Just back from 10 days and couldn’t have been happier. Resort is smaller than others I have been to, about 150 rooms, I liked this as everything was close. Visited in mid June and was quiet at start but got busier, mainly babies. Great pool for little ones but also a deeper pool at 1.4m for adults. We had a great room facing the pool (room 2312) at evening entertainment end but no noise in bedroom- excellent double glazing sooper air conditioning which you can leave on all the time. Beach Towels are provided with a €10 returnable deposit. Remember to bring Euros for tourist tax which must be paid in cash. There is a bank machine just outside Reception on driveway- no charge. Safe is €5 returnable deposit for key and €4 a day to use. We did but our friends didn’t, place seemed incredibly safe. Loved the food, also bar served burgers, hot dogs etc from about 11am to 3pm, ice cream fridge full of Cornettos and Magnum type ice creams available free 24hrs. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels if you put them on floor. Animation team were great, particularly Andrea who made me laugh every day with her sarcasm ❤️ Location was superb at end of Pine Walk so quiet. We popped down to beach every day at 8am for swim so we were hungry for breakfast. Good 20min walk to ferry terminal in middle of Pine walk but we didn’t mind. Bus at back of hotel goes into town (334?) and Pollensa old town (worth going on a Sunday when market is on but taxi’s are hard to get). Bus also goes to Mirador viewing point which is 5 minutes from hotel and worth seeing. If you get back on bus you go to Formentor beach which gets busy! We preferred beach on Pine Walk. Can tap bank card to use bus, can get up to 5 people on one card. Tap 4 times when getting on for 4 people but only tap once to get off. On at front of bus and off in middle of bus.

A lovely holiday but a little rough around the edges. There was a big group of us - adults and children. The pools were great for all ages! However, there were lots of broken pool toys and discarded swimming clothes around the pool, especially under the bridge. The bridge needed some repairs and the glass barriers were very dirty. Food was great but nearly every time I picked up a plate it was dirty - sometimes on top and underneath. Most of the staff were lovely but one or two were a little rude and not very accommodating which felt a real shame. There was a QR code to scan for hotel info but I couldn't find a bar menu anywhere and what time the pools were open and closed. The bar area had several grabber machines which was frustrating as the children were begging for money constantly in the evenings. The spa was lovely and a real treat - I booked a massage and Diego was brilliant! The room was lovely but wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the bed in the living room was great for the kids but it squeaked so badly it kept waking my daughter up. In all it was a great holiday but needs a few improvements.
