“Beautiful stay at MarSenses”

A beautiful hotel, excellent facilities, food and entertainment. This is my second visit here. The staff are lovely and the location is perfect.

Our first stay at Marsenses Puerto Pollensa and not our last.....already rebooked for next year! We stayed in a junior suite in G block overlooking the pool and found the room spacious and peaceful. Our room cleaner Jessica was lovely, always very polite and efficient, keeping us refreshed with towels every couple of days. We found the breakfast and dinner buffets very good with a huge variety of food to cater for all tastes. There was an abundance of fresh fruit, salad and vegetables and different themed and a la carte menus throughout our stay. We also found drink exceptionally good value for money compared to other places in the resort. The location of the hotel is perfect, set just one road back from the beautiful Pine Walk and sandy beach. A bus leaves every 20 minutes for Pollensa Old Town or Alcudia from the terminal which is just a 10 minute walk away, the cost just 9 euros return. The last bus back from the old town is 11:20pm so plenty of time to enjoy the old town in the evening if you fancy a change of scene. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We are very much looking forward to returning next year.

We stayed at Marsenses Puerto Pollensa for 5 nights for the first time in Palma. Our stay was very relaxing and we really enjoyed the service from the staff. The room we were given was a little out dated (musty air con) but still in good condition with Soda our lovely cleaner doing a fab job keeping the room feeling fresh and clean. Noise level was kept under control even with the evening entertainment so did not disturb any early sleepers! We loved the spa and indoor pool area too plus the gym for midday workout. The hotel is also conveniently located near the beach, shops and restaurants as well as the occasional markets. Staff were great from the beginning until the end, starting with Idda who checked us in and always greeted us with a smile. Waiting staff were excellent in particular Ana for our dinners and Alicia for our morning beverages. A special thank you to Andreas who was absolutely brilliant with helping us with vegetarian meals at dinner. He went the extra mile and took back suggestions from us to the chef who did such a wonderful job creating exciting and tasty meals every night that we were there. We really appreciated the effort and time it must taken to do this. On a whole, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will consider returning!

Just stayed at this hotel for the first time. It is very well located in the lovely resort of Puerto Pollensa, just a few steps away from the Pine Walk. The hotel does indeed have lovely staff; most are very friendly and helpful. Ioda is particularly pleasant. The public areas are well maintained, the restaurant serves freshly prepared and nicely presented dishes but the choice is very limited. The evening entertainment is of a good standard and enjoyable. The bar and its staff are very nice. Staff work very hard. There are, however, some real shortcomings. The rooms are basic but comfortable but the air conditioning is not great and so it can be very uncomfortable, particularly at night and especially in the current very hot weather. Most rooms are only accessed by stairs, not lifts, and carrying luggage up several flights is not easy. The real issue is the sunbeds though. Signage says towels can not be put in place until 8am and that beds are monitored. This is simply not true. Most beds are reserved by just after 8am. Towels start to appear on them from about 7am and many then remain unoccupied for large parts of of the day. No one checks and towels are certainly not moved. The pool area has lovely sunbeds but is also very crowded and so it isn't easy to move easily between beds. I was surprised that, in an adults only hotel, inflatables and ball games are allowed in the pool. We enjoyed our holiday and appreciated the good points but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.
