The history and beauty of the old farmhouse property is preserved, but we felt comfortable in our room and enjoyed the pool and lovely breakfast patio and restaurant. Wish we had time to enjoy the golf course as well! The entire staff was friendly, and had plenty of tips for the stay.

The service is extremely polite, the open kitchen allows you to watch the chef at work, and the view the restaurant has to offer is especially beautiful during the sunset. Overall can highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed!!!

This hotel lived up to all the great reviews on here! The rooms were spacious and rustic in the main building, with lovely views of Manacor from the garden area. The staff were always willing to help and were very friendly. The food served in the restaurant was fantastic, to Michelin star standard, with great variation every night. The facilities such as the golf course and pool were also lovely and peaceful. This hotel is perfect to get away from it all!

We stayed there for a few days in September, very nice and charming hotel, our first stay in Rotana. At arrival, lady at reception was very attentive, welcoming and professional (that apply to the others persons that were at reception the others days too) we very quickly were installed and got a tour of the facilities. Our room was in main building ground floor, with a little patio, very pretty, room was very spacious and well decorated, the bathroom / shower / toilet clean and also spacious, we loved the room. We did not have a rental car for the few days we stayed there, we wanted to remain in the hotel and enjoy it (and we visited the island on multiple occasions in the past so not feeling the need to redo it). So we had all our meals in the hotel. Breakfast was nice with a selection of fresh fruits, cold cuts, salmon, cheese etc... You can have on order eggs / bacon / sausages, few selection of bread etc... Not the most impressive we have seen but good. For lunch the selection is a limited set of the main restaurant menu, so if you stay and eat there for a few days, it can become quickly repetitive. But whatever is served was good quality. For dinner that was in the main restaurant rear garden, very pretty, love the setting. Service was always efficient, but felt a bit like we were a bother, but that was just a feeling, I am putting this on the Senior waitress concentration to do a good job, which she did, but a little smile can go a long way. Food was good and plenty if you take a starter and a main, we never got to dessert as we were stuffed after main. Tried the Rotana wines, white, rose and red, and all 3 are good. We don't drink a lot so we only got open wine by glasses, so no idea about the bottled wine list/price. Note that the food/menu listed on their website is not relevant anymore, fews items still on current menu card but it's quite different now. As far as facilities, we planned to use the swimming pool but we golfed too much for that. We did not use Sauna, massage or played tennis so can't speak about these either. Golf... that's one of the reason we were there. The golf is reserved fully for the hotel guess, so there is no tee-time, it's free for all to start play when you please. At first I was skeptical, thinking most guess would play golf, and we would need to wait in queue, but that was totally different, not all guess are golfers (we so crazy about golf we can't imagine that :D ), we rarely had to wait to start, not once we felt pressure from behind or had to wait behind a flight, most of rounds the feeling was that we had the golf for ourselves. Since there is no tee-time pressure you are never forced to play with other peoples in same flight and most peoples play as couples. They offer buggy that you pay for 1 x 9 holes (25€) or for the day at 35€, one down side is they are petrol buggy not electric, so noisy and smelly, but I guess they need them due to the golf setting with lot of slopes, maybe electric ones can't handle climbing some of these slopes. The golf course is challenging and would be hard to play for beginners, specially because there are lot of slopes, you need to calculate this in your position and where you want to land the ball. The grass is thick (I guess it's Bermuda grass) and we lost many balls in the rough just next to the fairway as it's cut rather thick and ball would be covered, so keep a good eyes where your ball land or you will either spend long time looking for it or never find it. But we found many balls from others players just looking for ours, so all in all came out positive regarding lost/found balls. The fairways are also rather thick and if you don't have a clean shot you will loose lot of distance as grass is slowing you. The greens, well apparently they have a huge problem maintaining them, they are ugly to look at and almost all 9 have huge part that are literally unplayable. To be honest regarding the golf, it's ok if you look for quantity over quality (we were ok as we played 27 holes a day) but if you are looking for well manicured PGA like quality golf, look somewhere else. Photos on the website are absolutely not representative of the course current quality, specially the greens, I would wish they were that pristine. All in all we did like the stay and even so it's rather expensive for us as a room alone, the fact that golf is included make all the difference, if you count that if you stay in a cheaper hotel and add two green fees in others golf, the price become affordable. If you are ok with the golf course lower quality, and are looking for the quiet and feeling of exclusivity that may not be there in others golf/hotel offering in Majorca then it's a good deal.
