Amazing location. Room was clean and comfortable. Good air con and small balcony with nice sea view. Self catering: most kitchen appliances available including a microwave but could have had a kettle to make it better, however not too much of an issue as we boiled water in the pan Comfortable beds and very friendly cleaners and staff. Gave us more towels when we asked To check in it said to go to another hotel Playa Mar “a few metres away” but it was a 15 minute walk away about 0.85km. In the heat with luggage wasn’t the best but would be better if that was made clearer on the sign at the entrance :) Checking out was a lot simpler, staff are only there in the morning and we were offered a lift to the other hotel to hold our luggage to enjoy the rest of the afternoon before the bus to the airport. I think it would be better to display WiFi in welcome information in the rooms, as we had to find ourselves which was on a QR code on the walls Overall really pleasant stay for our first time in S’Illot!

We arrived quite late and the email I was sent told me to collect the keys from hotel Playamar 1.1 km away. Keys are actually collected from hotel Pinomar round the corner. Good job we had a car! The superior room had no water and we were told maintenance would look at it in the morning but we were not offered any bottled water. Maintenance woke us up at 9am and proceeded to run the tap which had started again. The pressure was never great and the final day, the water came out brown. The freezer compartment needed defrosting, there was no bottle opener even though most of the wines sold locally have corks, and it would have been nice to have salt and pepper provided. Shampoo and shower gel is provided along with an electric juice squeezer for the abundance of oranges locally. There are too many seats on the terrace taking up space, and the base for the parasol was too flimsy to use. The lift stopped working for the last two days of our stay making the shallow steps a chore. Having said all that, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The room was spacious enough but not as big as the website photos suggest. It is well placed away from the more touristy side and is close to Cala Morlanda cove for snorkelling and swimming with the locals. Not quite 'all fur coat and no knickers' but the décor suggests something more than it actually is. Could do better but it was nice enough and didn't spoil our holiday.

S'illiot majorca, wow, its like paradise. The beach and the sea are beautiful, its so peaceful and unspoilt and we loved it here. Shops and cafes are gorheous. Bj cala morlanda estudios however ? Well, when we next come we will be staying somewhere else. The room itself was OK, clean but nothing like what the pictures show you. There is no kettle and the hob was hard to work out to boil a pan. It's a strange room, tv in bedroom , a/c in the kitchen area, sink in the bedroom not bathroom . The balcony isn't what they show you on the photos, it's a tiny glass goldfish bowl like sitting in a greenhouse. You couldn't stay here and self cater for a week. The worse bit is they tell you to go to a nearby hotel to check in , its like 15 mins by car which after travelling through the night and surviving on no sleep then travelling from the airport was all we needed as we had no car. Luckily the experience was saved by Fatia, the hotel lady who bends over backwards to help. She drove us to the other hotel, she came out at night to fix the hob then took me to a shop . She was marvellous and single handedly saves this place with her hard work and effort. It's a few mins walk from the beach , no good for disabled due to bad pavements and they should be honest while marketing the hotel. S'illiot is stunning though and we are leaving with the best impression and memories , just consider a beachfront hotel for the best experience .
