“Irish family holiday ..”

Just back from gran sa coma with my family and we all had an excellent holiday . Could fault nothing at hotel from food to staff to facilities.. would definitely recommend .. Aileen McKinley room 417 pool view..

Arrived may 26th for ten nights . A family of four . I booked in September 2025 . I immediately emailed the hotel as we have a child who is nerodiverse. I had read reviews that the hotel was extremely loud at night . I asked for a quiet room if possible. Above the 4th floor . I got an extremely loud room over a bar on floor one and was told by Martha ( she was extremely rude to me and made me feel so uncomfortable) that my request was a wish and that it could not be granted unless I wanted to move to room 106 that was over the bar at the back of the hotel that these were the only options. She said it is how it is and both rooms are loud. That's absolutely appalling that you can email explaining childs needs in September and that they won't be met by may and then to be treated like your asking for a kidney after spending over three thousand euro . . I found her extremely obnoxious . It was upsetting. I wasn't happy with the room but we made it work I slept with my kids in the bedroom white noise and the fan they eventually fell asleep. My husband slept on the sofa in the sitting room well tried to sleep it's so loud at night. Fabbi on reception is very helpful and sweet and helped me with activities for the kids and taxis . Jenny the cleaner is amazing it's a hard job especially with all the children and she goes above and beyond a lovely lady so friendly and warm . The food is nice absolutely no problems at all we got breakfast every morning and were all happy we also ate from the snack bar by the pool it's good food something for all . The kids club are incredible all of them thank you so much for making my girls happy they loved every one of you . It's the cleaners and the kids club deserve so much praise for what they do. . Would I go back ? Probably but not to the first floor , it's not suitable for children who are sensitive. Other then that the hotel is good with a great pool and good vibes from the team working with the little ones .

Just finished a week here in June 2026. 2 adults 2 kids. Starting with the positives, the staff are exceptionally lovely, the hotel is very clean, the food is very good and it's is very family and children friendly hotel. It is very well located close to the Beach and kid friendly amenities. Things to consider (wish we had known before we booked): *the hotel was very busy when we came (outside of term time) *the outdoor space/pool seating areas are very small - no space for drinks tables etc and sometimes difficult to get loungers. *only one pool bar open all through the day - inside bar closed * sometimes very slow service at the bar (which is tricky when you're tying to juggle/keep an eye on kids too) * no 'help-yourself' facilties for drinks and snacks through the day (you have to be served at the snack bar for everything) * no chance of sleeping before 11.30pm at night - horrendously noisy from bedrooms backing onto the echoey corridors and the exceptionally loud music from the hotel Bluesea Gran Playa at the back of the hotel. It is a good hotel which I genuinely believe aims to please from a customer sevice point of view but is limited by the hotel itself and the structure.
