This was our fifth visit to the hotel during the May half term. We love Ibiza, and this trip is usually an easy, familiar, and stress-free getaway for us. I hadn’t stayed at this hotel for two years, and while it brought back plenty of good memories, there were several issues that stood out this time. As I remembered from previous stays (across different blocks), the rooms are very poorly soundproofed—you can hear everything from neighbouring rooms and above. It really needs addressing, as I’ve never experienced it to this extent elsewhere. The beds were also a disappointment. They were extremely firm and uncomfortable—honestly like sleeping on concrete. I don’t recall this being a problem before, but it definitely impacted our stay this time. We stayed all-inclusive but only used the hotel for breakfast and lunch. The food was average—perfectly fine, but nothing special. However, the snack bar is still a major frustration. This has clearly been an ongoing issue for years: queues are far too long, and the setup feels inefficient. Something as simple as preparing or reheating items like hot dogs and nuggets shouldn’t take this long. More staff and a better system would make a huge difference. There were also several maintenance issues. The air conditioning kept breaking down, resulting in multiple trips to reception. On our last day, the shower temperature fluctuated between freezing cold and dangerously hot, which could be especially risky for families with young children. The room keys were also unreliable, meaning even more time spent queuing at reception. For the price we paid, the hotel did the job, but it’s not as good as I remember. A few relatively small upgrades could make a big impact—modernising the air conditioning, improving soundproofing (which is especially important in a family hotel), introducing a self-service soft drinks area to reduce bar queues, and allocating more staff to the snack bar where demand is highest. Finally, charging extra for a safe in 2026 feels outdated. Secure storage should be a standard inclusion, not an added luxury.
