Hi just back to the bergantin for our 5th time. amazing as always. Spotlessly clean!! All staff amazing from cleaners to bar staff to chefs to restaurant staff. Reception staff And also the amazing entertainment crew. Big shout out to lara an igalet where brilliant with kids. Bar staff loli,andres,cesar and the amazing bar manager isa!!! she runs all the bars so effortlessly 😍 shout out to tyson the chef and lorena in the restaurant thanks all for a wonderful holiday an see use all soon 🙌

Just got home after a lovely relaxing 4 days staying at the Hotel Bergantín. The location of this hotel is excellent. Very close to the beach & a short walk along the promenade into San Antonio. The hotel was clean. The all inclusive buffet had plenty of choice & we didn’t struggle for options to eat & the staff were constantly bringing out fresh food. Plenty of drinks & cocktail options as part of the all inclusive & a good choice of ice creams, cornettos & slushy. The roof top terrace bar was lovely to sit & watch the sunset. The staff were friendly & helpful but a special mention to Liza behind the bar. She was lovely. Plenty of sunbeds available. The only negative points we found was that the shower over the bath was poor & the room would benefit with a small fridge but overall we were really happy with our stay & would definitely return.

Stayed at Azuline Hotel Bergantin for 4 nights with two friends. We stayed in room 231 for reference. Our room with an extra bed in it was cramped. Although the bed itself was decent for an extra bed, there was only one thin sheet type cover on it. Not ideal. The shower in the bathroom was sitting on the bath taps when we arrived and we soon discovered it was because it wouldn’t stay in the holder. The old wooden patio doors to the balance also wouldn’t lock. Both of which were reported and neither of which were fixed. The balance faced out to the front of the hotel which had the sun all evening which was lovely. The restaurant was fine, not great, not terrible. The made-up salad seemed to have fish in it every night and without an ingredient mentioned in the name, it was a guess what you were eating. Breakfast was the most challenging. The chef making omelets and eggs really struggled to keep up and the lack of staff was very apparently, especially as things weren’t replenished. I think I saw bacon once the whole time I was there, though the empty bacon tray was ever present. The ‘bar’ in the restaurant was frustrating. It’s time the hotel just turned the taps around and let people help themselves to wine and beer. It wasn’t manned so you were left standing waiting for someone to serve you and don’t dare serve yourself as we found out. The hotel would save themselves if they just let people do their own as I’ve seen in other hotels. Few of the staff seem happy to be there. The reception at check in didn’t provide much information including meal times etc. the only happy faces I encountered were Roberto and Sandra in the hotel bar in the evening and a young girl clearing plates in the restaurant. (Sorry I didn’t get her name). The rooftop bar is now incurred in the all inclusive which is nice. It wasn’t the last time we stayed in this hotel. It’s only open from 4:30 (or 4 depending on what staff you ask). Opening this up during the day for sunbathing would be an amazing addition. We only used the adult only pool which was quite busy. It was nice to see the pool area was power hosed. The toilet was clean as well. However there was a serious lack of umbrellas which was frustrating and some people brought their own. There was also pool jets that weren’t on the whole time we were there. There is a small garden to the front of the hotel with Bally beds however these were in a serious state of disrepair which is a real shame. It seems you need to pay for them too which obviously no one did. It was empty the whole time we were there. We didn’t utilise the other pool or the snack bar. This hotel was fine but with a bit of effort could be great. The interaction with the 3 cheery staff is what brought this up from a 3star review to 4.
