Thank you to the staff for looking us during our 2 week stay. We had never been to Ibiza before and didn’t know what to expect but we were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Once we found the right hotel. 2 hotels with very similar names were confusing but we got used to it eventually. Rooms were clean, tidy and and serviced every day. Good food as well. Loved the Mexican evening Entertainment was brilliant too although a bit late in the evening but that’s a personal preference. The 3 entertainment staff we met were friendly understanding and always greeted us with a smile On not so good notes dining room could only be accessed by steps causing problems for people with big prams and people less mobile. Not all the staff English was great and on our last day we had requested breakfast from 7am due to an early pickup for our return flight and there was no record on the system of this request. Not a bother to me or my friend but a concern if someone needed to eat at a certain time due to health conditions or medications etc On 1 of the days my friend had an unfortunate accident tripping up on 1 of the paving slabs just outside the hotel. Even though it wasn’t the hotels fault, the staff showed concern and even checked in on my friend to make sure she was ok. Luckily she escaped with nothing more than a bruised leg and broken pride All in all despite concerns a good hotel to stay in. We would definitely be coming again. Great hotel. Can’t recommend highly enough

Overall disappointing stay Good points…. Nice location right next to jetty for boat over to San Antonio Rooms very clean, shower powerful, good AC Nice pool area in Mar 2 Negatives Food leaves a lot to be desired, poor quality and never hot Miserable reception staff No kettle in room Queues at bar crazy (goodness knows what it’d be like in high season) Need to cross road between hotels for entertainment etc Having to give a token in each time you wanted a drink that we’re all served in plastic half pint cups. No chance of a pint here Prior to holiday I emailed hotel to enquire about cost of upgrading to mar1, received email saying that I need to ask at reception when we get there. Arrived at hotel late at night and automatically booked into Mar1 then charged €186 without discussion. Tried to dispute this as we hadn’t agreed to this but man on reception was quite rude and dismissive. Breakfast at hotel is fine but evening meals were really not nice at all, very fatty meats and tepid food. The lift broke one morning and as we were on the 3rd floor needed to carry a pram and baby down 3 flights. Again the guy on reception just watched us struggling without offering to help; when asked if there was another lift, maybe service lift, that we could use he just said ‘no’ . Not interested at all The bar service is bizarre with having to hand a token in to be served in half pint plastic cups All the bar staff work really hard, particularly Rio but the queues were still crazy. The outside pool bar never opened at all !! Why !! The male lifeguard was great, always walking round the pool observing. However the female lifeguard was nowhere near the pool and sat under the trees on the top grassed area, no way did she have good view of pools or would have gotten there quickly in an emergency (photo attached) Overall disappointing but with a few changes could be a good hotel

“Be wary of allergies”

I'll start the review with the main thing i want to get out there. I assume spanish/ibizan law does not require listing allergens on food as on my first evening i saw "Chinese style rice" with no ingredients list, it looked like egg fried rice and so i put some on my plate, id picked out some egg and eaten it by the time my partner noticed a tiny prawn sticking out of the rice, i am allergic to shellfish and started having a reaction from the egg that had been in contact with the shellfish, luckily my reaction was mild and just uncomfortable but if someone was fatally allergic this could very much kill someone. All that aside.. the hotel itself was nice and the was the only issue id had allergy wise although i was on heightened alert since that episode. The staff were wonderful, the food, other than bad labelling was mostly nice for mass produced all inclusive food And we were able to upgrade to a sea view room for a small fee. There were large cockroaches in the room.. I'm going to chalk that down to location and not start saying it was dirty because it really wasn't. I would and have recommended this hotel to a friend but if you have allergies be very wary at meal times
