Stayed at this hotel mid july and it was amazing start to finish, arrived at hotel at 2pm and just assumed we would have to wait until the usual 3pm check in time but were given the card to our rooms straight away, The rooms were nothing but clean and throughout are stay from what i gathered i’m sure the cleaner comes round twice a day, in the morning and in the afternoon, as when we had declined a tidy in the morning due to still being in the room we were asked again later that day which was ideal. We had breakfast only which was great for what we had expected. there was a huge variety of sweet/savoury and things which had ran out were constantly refilled. The food from the pool bar was amazing quality we ate atleast 1 meal from there every day which costed from 30euro to 50 euro with drinks for 2 people. High end restaurant quality in my opinion. The staff were absolutely lovely, reception, maintenance house keeping, the lady who runs the main food bit and everyone working in the pool bar. When we first arrived we couldn’t figure out how the aircon worked, so phoned reception and they gave us advice and when we couldn’t figure it out they sent a maintenance man up straight away who showed us how to fully shut the balcony door and we had no issues after this. One night we wanted to have tea in the main food part which costed €25pp, i personally much preferred the pool bar food but options were broad and well made. We did have to pay €4 for a bottle of water as the juice and coffee machines are only available at breakfast, but i can’t think of anywhere which would provide bottled water for free, ive only known this to be free with tap water which ofcourse we wouldn’t have been able to drink, so this didn’t bother me. The pool area was pristine with multiple sunbeds available throughout the day. Tables with menus on most. When ordering at the pool bar the staff either bring this to you at your sunbed or you can sit at one of the tables. Our balcony view wasn’t great and looked onto other hotels/the top of the what i think was maybe the indoor car park, this didn’t bother us as we didn’t pay for any kind of view but if this is something you’d be bothered about i’d pay the extra. The hotel was about a 15min walk into the main part of san antonio so it was a nice distance away from all the business which gave us a nice mix of the two sides of ibiza. Hotel had a mixed vibe of people in and only got quite loud and busy on our last day. Me and my boyfriend constantly said throughout we couldn’t believe it was only 3 stars and that any time coming back to ibiza this would be the hotel we would stay in.

“Superb hotel. Highly recommend.”

Superb hotel on outskirts of San Antonio. Really quiet. Recommend upgrading to a sea view room as the views are amazing. The staff are excellent especially at the reception, Ana in the restaurant and all the bar and pool staff. Breakfast superb. 5 mins walk to sunset strip and town centre. 10 mins … more

Superb hotel on outskirts of San Antonio. Really quiet. Recommend upgrading to a sea view room as the views are amazing. The staff are excellent especially at the reception, Ana in the restaurant and all the bar and pool staff. Breakfast superb. 5 mins walk to sunset strip and town centre. 10 mins walk to Cala gracia. Lovely rooftop bar to watch the sunset too.

We have just returned from a week’s stay at Hotel Abrat and overall had a lovely holiday. Check-in was smooth and the gentleman on reception was polite and welcoming. Our room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and having extra pillows already available was a nice touch. The room was generally clean, although I do think a little more attention could have been paid to the bathroom and corners. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of food available each morning, and the restaurant staff were always friendly and welcoming. We did notice there were quite a few flies in the restaurant. We appreciate that flies can be difficult to avoid in a warm climate, but there were also some uncovered food areas, such as pastries and fruit, which did put us off choosing certain items. Some covers or protective displays may help with this. The pool area is lovely, and the pool itself is much bigger than it appears in the photos. If you come down around midday after being out in the morning, it can be difficult to find a sunbed directly around the pool, but we always found beds available in the garden area, and as the afternoon went on people left and spaces became available. A special mention has to go to the bar staff, especially Seamus. He was genuinely brilliant throughout our stay. He took the time to chat with every guest he served and seemed genuinely interested in people, making everyone feel welcome. He is a real credit to the hotel. One evening there was live music by the pool, which was a lovely touch. However, there were a lot of ants around the seating area, with some climbing over tables and chairs, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the music. We mentioned this to the bar staff, who came out and sprayed the tables, and we were able to move to the wooden flooring area where we didn’t notice the issue as much. There were a couple of areas that could be improved. Housekeeping seemed to operate at inconsistent times. On our first day they arrived while we were still getting ready, so we missed having the room cleaned. The following day we made sure to be out, but housekeeping did not arrive until later in the afternoon when we were back in the room. Thankfully, we were able to head out to the pool while they cleaned, so it wasn’t a major issue, just something we noticed. We also found the floors often felt dirty underfoot, to the point where I wore flip-flops around the room, and I wasn’t sure how often they were being swept or mopped during the daily clean. The half-board option also left a little to be desired. I completely appreciate that this is Spain and there will naturally be Spanish dishes available, but with such a high number of British guests and families staying at the hotel, it would have been nice to see more plain or familiar options available in the evenings. As someone with food sensory issues, I often struggled to find something I could eat. Even the pizzas always seemed to include toppings such as peppers or onions, and I never saw a plain cheese pizza, which I imagine would also be appreciated by younger children. One thing that surprised us was that no soft drinks were included with the evening meal. Juice is available with breakfast, so we assumed there would be some kind of soft drink option with dinner, but everything had to be purchased separately. Having only stayed all-inclusive previously, this was unexpected, and €8.40 every evening for two small bottles of Coke soon adds up. We also noticed that drink prices varied depending on where you bought them within the hotel. Two bottles of Coke cost €8.40 in the restaurant but €10.20 at the pool bar. A Tequila Sunrise was €12 at the pool bar but €14 on the rooftop bar, despite being the same drink. We appreciate the rooftop bar may be considered a more premium location, however the difference in pricing was noticeable and may have contributed to the area being quieter than expected. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a great location, lovely facilities and some fantastic staff who genuinely made our holiday more enjoyable. If we were to return, we would definitely stay here again, although we would choose bed and breakfast rather than half board.

Here goes …. - On arrival lovely clean reception where a lovely lady gave us a warm welcome & information re:hotel - Room: we are in Rm 316 - Perfect ! Spotless , modern , comfy beds , aircon ,fridge , safe ,tea /coffee making facilities, good lighting , full length mirror ( us lady’s need this !! 😉) - Bathroom : Modern , rainforest shower head , plenty of hot water ,towels , large mirror - what more could want ! - Balcony : Large , modern /Glass sheet ( not the ugly old metal railings ) & what can i say - beautiful view from our room too see the sunset /sea 👌🏽 patio table /2 chairs . - Restaurant : Clean , food EXCELLENT & very good variety !!! staff friendly & helpful . oh, when the coffee in the machines are really good, I’m quite fussy where my coffee is concerned Hahaha and you gotta have a good 1st cup of coffee in the morning - that’s a non-negotiable! Ha ha ohh … and lovely staff ! Pool /area: Once again we’ve got nothing to complain about? Clean , Plenty of sun-beds /parasol’s a nice pool which does go quite deep (which I love ) Waiter service at the poolside with good selection of food /snack . Well .. that’s it from me - just a short & quick review 😂😂 - but so far We’re loving it ! Keep up the service ,standards you’ve set & the happy / helpful staff ABRAT ! 👌🏽 From a happy resident 👍🏽🥰😊
