On arrival at the TUI Blue Victoria adults only hotel we were waiting to check in and was offered a glass of cava or orange. Our rooms were not ready as we arrived early. We were given our all inclusive bands and we were invited to have a drink at the pool bar. Our bags were in our room when we got there. The pool area had plenty of sun beds umbrellas and tables. There’s waiter service around the pool and inside bar. No eating around the pool which was a good thing. You had tables to sit at for the pool bar which was also waiter service for food and drinks. You can go to the restaurant for breakfast lunch and evening meal. There was a good choice and enjoyed what was there. There’s a roof top pool and bar with a few sun beds which are free. Or you can hire one for the day which is reasonably priced. And a roof top restaurant you can use once. You have to book it . I would book as soon as you can it gets booked up quick. We were there for a week couldn’t fault anything about the hotel food or staff. The best hotel we have stayed in.

First time staying at the Tui Blue Victoria! Won’t be the last! In the spare of the moment decision to take a holiday we decided we will try here. Upon arrival it did rain a bit but the temperature was still warm, following days after till departure it was scorching hot! Definitely didn’t expect the temperatures to rise so high and it felt hotter than anticipated! (Use your SPF 50!) because I definitely caught the sun! Hotel was faultless! Spotless! Clean! Friendly staff and fantastic service! Everyone who worked there were attentive and respectful. Huge shout out to Mar in the restaurant area for being so welcoming and catered to our needs, always a smile on her face and even gave us a hug when we left! Fran who was the bartender on the roof was amazing too! Great drinks, great service and always had a welcoming smile and fun personality. Everyone worked so hard to keep everything in order! Faultless! Our room service was incredible too! Entertainment was great! You’ll be saying to yourself “A bottle of cava!” For a while after you leave (you’ll understand if you visit 😝) great performances and entertainment all round! We went half board and honestly think that was more than enough. Food: breakfast and dinner was fresh! Tasty and a great selection that slightly changed every day! Honestly the service we whiteness with fresh food, on the spot cooking, collecting dishes and bring clean ones out was incredible! The facilities there were also great! Spa, pool, jacuzzis, seating, bars, coaches and local restaurants and shops were all easily accessible! The beach was just a two minute walk away with some amazing walks along the coastline and WW2 bunkers to peek into really makes you feel the history and atmosphere. Sea waters are the cleaning I’ve ever seen! Clear as crystal! Beautiful aquamarine hues you take a swim in (just be careful walking in the dry sands as they can get HOT!) 10/10 for everything we experienced here at Tui blue Victoria! Must visit!

We stayed 15-22 May half board, finding that the best option for us as we wouldn’t have done all inclusive justice, saved a lot of money that way. Had a fabulous week and have to agree with a lot of comments previously. The hotel was always spotless clean and staff very friendly. Our standard room was very good, must admit the storage space for us was adequate. We took additional coat hangers with us and with doubling up of clothes, for one week we coped. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable and the power shower excellent. As for the pool area again very clean and tidy but agree sunbeds were almost on top of each other and uncomfortable after a time, kept having to change position. Restaurant was very good, found the breakfast possibly the best with the evening meal adequate but not always the best. As for the entertainment, the Tui girls worked very hard especially for the aqua aerobics but we found the evening entertainment poor. In the main lounge area it was comfortable but far too loud at times and when going to the separate bar area that was very bland with some comfortable chairs but also uncomfortable ones. Unfortunately whilst hoping to be in a quiet relaxed area all you could hear was the noise from the main lounge area especially when the were doing bingo using the load microphones. Also in the bar area the tv screen if you wanted to watch it kept freezing. All in all taking into account of our few niggles we really enjoyed our stay at the Victoria, lovely walks in both directions along the coast and Santo Tomas was clean and tidy, no graffiti or litter and fortunately the one main road and side streets had no pot holes, take note of that England.

We really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but the little niggles that we encountered became very annoying during our 2 weeks stay. Firstly can we say that this hotel is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. All credit to the housekeeping team and the public areas all smelt lovely. Also all the staff were lovely , always spoke and most importantly all looked happy to work there. In particular we would like to say that the person who impressed us most was Eduardo who manned the bar in the roof top terrace/ Culinarium restaurant. He looked after us every night when we went there for a couple of drinks. Now we come to the niggles :- Bedroom. - as has been pointed out in hundreds of reviews the storage in the double rooms is abysmal. We just about managed to hang up 2 weeks worth of clothes but the drawers are useless for anything other than underwear. There is nowhere to store items like shorts / t-shirts/ coats/jackets etc. we ended up draping clothes over our suitcases. We do not pay good money for this and the room looked really messy - very annoying. Why nothing has been done about this after so many negative reviews is beyond us. Food/restaurant- We thought the food was quantity over quality, breakfast was good but dinner wasn’t. Plenty of nice salads and good desserts but oh dear the main course was a total mismatch . The food at times was cool and the plates were never hot. In our first week the restaurant was quite a pleasant place , not overcrowded but come the second week it was a different story. Very busy , tables took a long time to be cleared , needed more staff and the vibe was more canteen than relaxing dining. Also at times the clientele were very pushy and some needed a lesson on what the dress code ‘ smart casual’ means. Pool area - the pool area was again spotless but the sunbeds are too close together, no space in between them , it was ok while we were there but would hate to be there in the summer months. The sunbeds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever experienced, they definitely need cushions on. Half board/ All inclusive - we usually go all inclusive at other hotels but thought Tui was charging quite a lot more than the half board option here. We thought we would try the half board and pay for our drinks and lunch separately. Well this turned out to be a good move as we saved nearly £600 against the all inclusive price, so unless you spend every hour drinking loads it definitely better to go half board. As you will gather from the above review we would not visit this hotel again which is a shame as we were looking for a replacement hotel to our usual 5 star hotel in Cyprus and this seemed a good hotel and only a short flight but it’s got too many niggles for us.
