“Really good for a person with a disability”

My husband has a disability, but this hotel ticks all the boxes. We had a superior room with a bath , because he can't stand in a shower . Saying that if the hotel put a handrail and a flip up seat in the shower he would be able to use it. So a good recommendation hotel Victoria. We were in room 545 ;arriving the 3rd May for 10 night AI, with beautiful views and very clean and spacious. The hotel is easy to get around, food is amazing and the staff are very courteous, and full of fun. We would love to return in September for my birthday; which is the 7th, but they say no suites available, so sad , but lovely hotel you'll enjoy.

We really enjoyed our visit to this hotel. The staff are superb, the hotel is spotless and the beds very comfortable. Some people have commented on the buffet style evening meal. That has always been my experience, how could you possibly serve 500 guests individually in the height of summer. We had no complaints, there was always loads of choice, and food hot and tasty. If you’re looking for chicken nuggets and chips you would be disappointed, but that’s not what we come on holiday for. Breakfast was amazing, loads of choice, even protein drinks if that’s what you’re into. I would agree that there is not much space to hang clothes, and the drawers are tiny so can’t get much in there apart from your underwear. Plenty of plug sockets in the room, and very spacious shower, with great water pressure, better than ours at home! WiFi everywhere and never had a problem with the speed, so often you find you can only pick up a signal in communal areas, but not here. Not much to do in the resort itself, but some lovely walks to be had up and down the coastline. You get to enjoy an à la carte meal in the rooftop restaurant which was lovely, only 3 choices for starter, main and desert, but very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend, and would come here again

“Brilliant”

Second stay this year with my Great granddaughter once again never let's us down.great food wonderful staff spotlessly clean nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. Have been going since 2012 and will be going again next year

We really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars but the little niggles that we encountered became very annoying during our 2 weeks stay. Firstly can we say that this hotel is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. All credit to the housekeeping team and the public areas all smelt lovely. Also all the staff were lovely , always spoke and most importantly all looked happy to work there. In particular we would like to say that the person who impressed us most was Eduardo who manned the bar in the roof top terrace/ Culinarium restaurant. He looked after us every night when we went there for a couple of drinks. Now we come to the niggles :- Bedroom. - as has been pointed out in hundreds of reviews the storage in the double rooms is abysmal. We just about managed to hang up 2 weeks worth of clothes but the drawers are useless for anything other than underwear. There is nowhere to store items like shorts / t-shirts/ coats/jackets etc. we ended up draping clothes over our suitcases. We do not pay good money for this and the room looked really messy - very annoying. Why nothing has been done about this after so many negative reviews is beyond us. Food/restaurant- We thought the food was quantity over quality, breakfast was good but dinner wasn’t. Plenty of nice salads and good desserts but oh dear the main course was a total mismatch . The food at times was cool and the plates were never hot. In our first week the restaurant was quite a pleasant place , not overcrowded but come the second week it was a different story. Very busy , tables took a long time to be cleared , needed more staff and the vibe was more canteen than relaxing dining. Also at times the clientele were very pushy and some needed a lesson on what the dress code ‘ smart casual’ means. Pool area - the pool area was again spotless but the sunbeds are too close together, no space in between them , it was ok while we were there but would hate to be there in the summer months. The sunbeds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever experienced, they definitely need cushions on. Half board/ All inclusive - we usually go all inclusive at other hotels but thought Tui was charging quite a lot more than the half board option here. We thought we would try the half board and pay for our drinks and lunch separately. Well this turned out to be a good move as we saved nearly £600 against the all inclusive price, so unless you spend every hour drinking loads it definitely better to go half board. As you will gather from the above review we would not visit this hotel again which is a shame as we were looking for a replacement hotel to our usual 5 star hotel in Cyprus and this seemed a good hotel and only a short flight but it’s got too many niggles for us.
