Michael is absolutely fabulous!! He tries so hard with both the kids and adults. Kids couldn’t wait to go and see him on an evening, talked about the entertainment all day. The only downside is, no air con in the entertainment room. After being in there for 10 minutes, it becomes a bit unbearable. Several nights we have left the entertainment early as we cannot take the heat anymore, despite taking several outside breaks. All staff I have encountered have been super friendly, hotel is lovely and clean, always see staff cleaning. Again apartments can become a bit unbearable with the heat but we knew before we came there was no air con

Went during peak August and hotel didn’t feel too overcrowded. Plenty of sun beds available and pool is large, although very deep in some places, at 2.5m deep. Went during peak August and hotel didn’t feel too overcrowded. Plenty of sun beds available and pool is large, although very deep in some places, at 2.5m deep. I stayed in a room with three other people and we were just fine, two on beds and two on sofa beds, all comfy enough with no issues. Rooms come with two fans, one in bedroom one in living room, does the job perfectly I was never too hot. Phone signal in my room was pretty poor however, none at all in the bathroom. Buffet is too small for the size of the hotel. Tables always full inside and quite a small selection of food once inside. I would recommend anyone coming to go full board and save the money by not going all inclusive. Food quality was decent, some better than others but that is the standard for these buffets. Hotel staff are alright, reception very helpful, room cleaners very professional. Hotel location is great, some bars five minutes down the road but it remains perfectly quiet at night in the hotel. Veronica’s strip is a half an hour or so walk away but it’s decently flat so not an issue. Two shops either side of hotel for bits such as water, which will be needed for the room. Rooms were clean inside, we only had one cockroach over the length of our stay, which was less than we expected. I would consider staying here again, but would not choose all inclusive, I would say your money is better spent on a full board stay.

Lovely 3 star hotel, fit our needs. Hotel rooms are big, comfortable and clean. There is no air con in rooms but the livings space and room has a large ceiling fan which works great. Lovely 3 star hotel, fit our needs. Hotel rooms are big, comfortable and clean. There is no air con in rooms but the livings space and room has a large ceiling fan which works great. Hotel grounds clean staff are friendly especially Antoinette she is a credit to the hotel very friendly always smiling. Great with children. Food and drink are ok drinks come in paper cups would advise to take plastic cups. Food gets a bit repetitive and not much of a selection on an evening we didn’t mind lots of places to eat around the hotel and cheap. There is an afternoon snack bar which is handy for hungry kids after being in the pool all day. Not much daytime entertainment for children evening entertainment ok. Transfers aren’t long either to and from airport. Overall we had a great week on this hotel and would return.

“A budget friendly hotel with great location!”

We have just arrived home from a lovely week at Laguna Park 1. The hotel is in a great location, with just a short 5 minute walk to La Pinta Beach and shops, restaurants etc. We walked this everyday! We have just arrived home from a lovely week at Laguna Park 1. The hotel is in a great location, with just a short 5 minute walk to La Pinta Beach and shops, restaurants etc. We walked this everyday! There are also restaurants and shops right next to the hotel and a very convenient mini supermarket next door which we found useful. Our room was in the bigger block and it was great. Recently renovated I would say as it was fresh, modern and clean. It was cleaned every other day to a high standard. The room was spacious and everything we needed it to be and we loved the large balcony area overlooking the pool. The complex is generally very clean and there were staff cleaning and tidying most of the day. Some communal areas are a little tired and could do with some TLC but staff looked after what they have and make the best of it. The food was ok. I was a bit nervous about this after reading reviews but we found there to be a good amount of choice and we all ate well for all meals. It's not as extravagant as some all inclusive hotels, but the choice was good, the food was tasty and there was plenty of it. The only downside to the food was that the drinks machines weren't always working, fruit juice one particularly, and the desserts were very samey. I would come back to this hotel.
