Overall a really good holiday for my husband and myself. There are a couple of negatives but they are far outweighed by the positives. Rooms - really good, big, with separate living room and bedroom. They are clean enough but certain things do need improving. The glasses in the cupboard were dirty and I had to ask for a clean bedspread as that was dirty also, but the actual sheets were spotless, as was the mattress. The bathroom was extremely dated and nothing like the lovely photos on the site. There was no extraction. However, the shower was hot and powerful, despite flooding the floor every time due to there being no shower door or curtain. We had a first floor room so had a lovely patio area with our own sun loungers which looked onto the sun terrace and was close to the pool bar. Food - the range was a bit limited, but you have to remember its a 3* Hotel, and what was on offer was always hot, tasty and good quality. You can help yourself to wine, soft drinks and tea/coffee. The restaurant is more like a canteen, functional but no atmosphere. There is a snack bar at the pool, which does the usual burgers/pizza/hot dogs, but they were always hot and well cooked. Sandwiches are available, but theres not much filling in them. There are water stations dotted about the Hotel. Bar/entertainment - Some reviews say the mixers are awful, but I found them ok, sure they are not branded, but they are fine as a mixer. The cocktails are all premix as with most AI hotels, but the spirits were fine. The wine was nice with lemonade and the Amstel lager was really nice. The entertainment was some of the best I`ve seen at an AI hotel. Karaoke on a Sunday but then all the other nights are professional acts rather than the Animation team putting on a show. Tina Turner was fantastic, and some of the other singers were good too. There were acrobats, comedy and magicians for variety. The lounge bar opens at 6, and there is a very pleasant outside seating area to have a relaxing drink at. Very nice cherry or watermelon ice pops available from the pool bar. There is a small gaming area with pool tables and arcade style games for the older kids to help you spend your Euros. Staff - surprisingly for a Spanish Hotel, the bar staff were lovely, smiling and happy to help, special mention to Carlos and Christina, although they were all very good. The restaurant staff were efficient and hard working. The guy in the polo shirt seating people was a bit miserable and I assume he was a supervisor as he was always berating the young staff, who as far as I could tell were doing a great job. Bit of a jobsworth I would say. Reception staff were possibly the most unhelpful I have encountered in Spain. Not overly friendly, not that pleasant, fairly unhelpful. The older guy was the rudest, and the young girl with the dark hair was by far the most pleasant and helpful. They certainly do not go the mile, never mind the extra mile! Animation team were pleasant, but a little lacklustre. Pool area - 2 pools, medium size, water was pleasant temperature. I never saw the pool get cleaned, or water samples taken, but that doesnt mean it didnt happen. Another small pool available for little kids. Lots of comfortable sun loungers and lots of parasols. Pool has gates and these are opened by the lifeguard at 10 am. Free table tennis and pool table by the pool. Location - as others have said, its on a hill, it's not too bad unless you have mobility problems. Speaking of which, this Hotel does not allow mobility scooters inside the Hotel following a previous accident. Its 10 minutes walk to the beach where you will find plenty of bars and retail therapy, and lots of shops and bars en route. Costa Adeje is in general very hilly, so avoid the area if you have any mobility issues. Its a 20 minute drive from the airport, and around 30 euro in a taxi. The Hotel has a really nice vibe to it, was nice and peaceful the week before half term, but overrun with kids at half term, which unfortunately bring with them some entitled and overbearing parents, some of whom are unfortunately irresponsible and do not care what their kids are doing as long as its not disturbing them! Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would certainly recommend it for a cheap and cheerful, laid back break.

“Smoking signs.”

Our ninth visit over the years and happy as usual. Only thing we noticed is there are no longer NO SMOKING signs around the pool? Alexa couple to stop smoking and the rightly stated there was no signs.
