“Sublime attention to detail”

We can’t think of any area for improvement. This hotel was perfect for us. We flew in on Sunday 12 April for four nights and were warmly welcomed by all staff

Just stayed at Royal River for the third time. Fortunately missed the worst of the storms but weather was still bit disappointing for Tenerife. Just stayed at Royal River for the third time. Fortunately missed the worst of the storms but weather was still bit disappointing for Tenerife. Hotel itself was on top form, breakfasts were excellent and gardens and facilities were in great condition. Would recommend trip into La Caleta in the evenings. Some great bars for pre meal drinks overlooking the sea and excellent restaurants, would recommend Masia del Mar, Vieja and Mirador. Thanks to all the staff.

“A trip for the memory box”

Royal River Hotel from the moment you check in after being a complementary glass of Cava exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was large and beautiful with its own private pool leading into the river. The bonus was the private rooftop solarium. All the staff were fantastic from the guys on reception to the waiting staff and maids. Special mention to Stefan on reception, Nancy who looked after us so well in the restaurants, and Maria who kept our room looking beautiful. To the staff I have missed off, many apologies, but thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The Hotel itself is stunning - nestled away in a quiet part of Costa Adeje, ideally located close to the Golf Course and only a few minutes from the town itself. All of the communal areas are meticulously cared for and the rooms are in great condition, with plenty of space and high quality finishing throughout. All of the staff we met were exceptionally friendly and nothing felt too much trouble. In particular, the reception team were incredibly welcoming upon our arrival, whilst all of the restaurant staff were friendly and jovial throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we happened to stay during Storm Therese - which impacted the majority of our 10 night stay. Whilst clearly the hotel aren’t responsible for the poor weather, it did identify a couple of areas where perhaps there are some limitations. For example, for safety reasons, the Top Restaurant was closed for several nights in a row, limiting the food options available. We did also feel that the hotel was a little slow in opening the pool areas following the storm and re-positioning the lounger cushions. We recognise it is difficult under these circumstances and largely our frustration was with the inclement weather, but perhaps something for the team to consider in the future. One final point was that we had a small issue during our stay - but the hotel team were exceptional in dealing with the situation and quickly remedied the issue in a friendly and professional manner.
