We stayed for a week this November 2025. Check in was flawless and friendly. The staff worked very hard to make the resort, rooms, pool area and dinning room very pleasent and kept clean. Ceiling fan in spacious room was enough for this time of year. Outlets on either side of the bed, large closet and sofa area which we didn't really use as a couple. Cleaned everyday and towel change, save for one during our 7-day stay. However the sheets had holes in them and the screws sticking out at the foot of the wooden bed frame are not nice if you brush up against them. Not enough light in room in evenings. The poolside bar was well stocked and fun to mix your own drinks, although the alcohol was of the cheap variety and not very strong. We were disappointed by the coffee in the restaurant. The cappuccino in the machine tasted like cacao so we stuck with the coffee on tab. I finally got a decent cup of coffee outside the resort. Good selection of alternative milk: almond, oat, etc., though. The food was varied everyday and both the spacious inside and outside dinning area were always kept cleaned. We rented a car for our week's stay and this enabled us to travel the island on alternative days, swim in the sea every morning and have a bit more freedom. I would highly recommend this option. It is not too much more than the airport transfer for two to and fro from the airport We love the island and have been to Fuerteventura many times.

Hotel good for 3* . Clean in all areas. AC was a spinning fan ours only seemed to have one speed which wasn’t much use. Fridge in room - separate room for kids. Staff all friendly. Hotel good for 3* . Clean in all areas. AC was a spinning fan ours only seemed to have one speed which wasn’t much use. Fridge in room - separate room for kids. Staff all friendly. Costs Calma is a quiet resort with not many shops etc. but we liked it as wanted a relaxing holiday. Food ok , different each night. Pour your own drinks in AI which was fab ( including spirits) pool table €1 which was great for the kids. Table tennis and tennis also available. Beach was nice too. Went to Morro Jable for a day which has lots of shops etc. €30 each way in a taxi. Good holiday

“Cheap & cheerful all inclusive holiday, just a few issues .. 🍷 🌞”

My wife and I have been holidaying in Caleta De Fuste (self catering) every January for the past 15 years. This years ‘extra’ trip to Fuerte was to Royal Suite, Costa Calma during September for 8 nights AI Put together by me for £1k including flight there with Ryanair, return EasyJet, car hire from airport and hotel booked with Algotel First thing we were shocked with was the journey down to Costa Calma (1hr) having always chosen Fuste 10mins from airport. Was the holiday worth the additional journey time, no. Not much in Costa Calma and the beach was only average, 30min walk from the hotel. To the hotel, all staff friendly and polite and helpful, all public areas and rooms kept clean and tidy. A previous reviewer mentioned fan in their room, well there wasn’t one in ours which was desperately needed (or aircon!) Most nights were uncomfortable for us despite leaving windows open, too hot inside during summer months .. expect winter would be ok. TV in the room always appreciated with 50ish channels however only 2 English speaking news channels ! 🤯 As we visited outside the kids school holidays no problems getting a sunbed at anytime during the day. Entertainment team do their best during the day around the pool however music far too loud, so much so it’s often too difficult to listen to/hear your own tunes through your headphones! No complaints with the alcohol on tap, particularly enjoyed the sangria tap ! 🍷 On the main the food was ok and always something we enjoyed our favourite being the daily Canarian potatoes! Desserts were such a let down and disappointment with the same cake and fruit selection every day, need some variety and invention FAST 🫤 Evening entertainment was also very poor and almost non existent with the entertainment team doing their best with bingo, music quiz, karaoke, etc but not good enough. Only ONE night during our holiday was a ‘paid’ singer performing and she was excellent with many guests up and dancing … they were eager and keen for some proper entertainment! 💃 Very few English guests and during our stay mainly German French Spanish. Overall we did enjoy our holiday and would recommend however everything we need for a perfect holiday in Fuerte is close to the airport in Caleta De Fuste. We still prefer the self catering option so we can eat out at lovely, different restaurants each night. However if you’re happy with the long drive, below average accommodation price, alcohol on tap and decent food then Royal Suite might be the place for you !! 🌞 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

Mixed feelings generally about hotel and my experience here.....room was lovely plenty storage and space and cleaned to a high standard regularly. Minor faults of the room broken flush, toilet roll holder coming off the wall and heavily stained bathtub. Poolside plenty loungers and room for all guests, it's an all inclusive hotel only downside to this is the pool bar is not staffed and it's a case of self serve which isn't ideal as people's measures leave a LOT to be desired! As it's not staffed I also so quite a few underage guests going up and helping themselves to spirits too 🫣 Restaurant - not the best to be honest, I literally had to beg for some fruit at breakfast, the hot food throughout the day was never hot and left uncovered between lunch-snack-dinner times which isn't safe/food hygiene etc particularly when it's eggs/chicken etc. Quite a bit of food stuff in floor and left piled up on tables too. Excellent array of breads, salad stuff etc and staff in restaurant fabulous. One major downside was the fact the letter guests bring their dog into the restaurant and up onto the table! Surely I'm not the only one who thinks this is wrong!!! Entertainment staff fabulous!! Overall pleasant trip good for a week of sun and rest
