This hotel is fantastic value. The grounds are beautiful, stunning views of the ocean, the pools are large with lovely greenery and flowers. It’s a very relaxed environment. The main pools are not heated so are a little too cold for March time. There is a smaller heated pool which is a nice temperature to have a swim. There is a fantastic selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a snack bar, the options are plentiful. You can pay €25 for 90 mins spa access, this is for an indoor heated pool, hot tub area, steam room and sauna. You can pay for treatments but they seemed overpriced to me so I didn’t opt for one (I attached a photo of the options). The gym is free and open from 08:00-20:00 it’s spacious with up to date weights and never seems to get busy. It doesn’t have air conditioning though so for a cardio workout can get a little hot (this is March so I assume worse in the warmer months) The rooms are clean and modern, the Tv connects to Netflix, Amazon prime and YouTube which is great. There is no kettle in the room but we asked at reception and they gave us one for €10 refundable deposit. There is a mini fridge and hairdryer. The evening entertainment was great with love music. I would highly recommend this hotel, it is value

We booked R2 knowing it would be a budget vacation, we were prepared and while I can say there are a lot of improvements which could be made, for the price, it's not that bad (booked as a package holiday with Itaka Poland). The hotel itself is an hour from the airport, there is ample parking at the hotel which was ideal for us. We wanted to use as a base for exploring and surfing, which worked for us. Checkin was smooth, easy and the gentlemen explained the layout of the hotel, we were placed on the 9th floor, which is actually the lowest level, the room itself was OK - it had been recently renovated. The shower was broken and hanging off the wall, once reporting to reception it was fixed immediately. Weird thing is the beds were roll out beds and it would have been great if there were a couple of chairs in the room. We found the beds really hard, we asked for toppers and the were fitted quickly which were a great help. The food and drink is the part which was most challenging, the all inclusive nature of the hotel gave me Egypt vibes. The dining room is chaos in the evening - there were not enough clean set tables. You had to wait for someone to finish then grab a waiter to clean it for you. The food, there is a lot of variety and each day was fine (breakfast & lunch were the best) but it's cheap all inclusive type. We tended to stick to the meat being cooked on the grills, salad and fries at dinner time. The whole queues are annoying, there are signs saying no need to queue, no one reads them and people block the whole food area and get angry when you try to pop in one for one thing (which the signs say you should do). The bars are the same, cheap all inclusive drinks, the wine is not wine, it is coloured liquid passed off as wine. The best drinks we found were the beer and sparking wine. In the end we went to the local Spar and bought great wine and rum and made our own. By the pool everything is served in paper cups, it makes it feel cheap. The pools have plenty of space, but yes the pools are cool at this time of the year, didn't us, it was very refreshing. The local beach is nice, watch out for the naked everywhere if that's not your thing. We didn't attend any evening entertainment, but there were things going on everything night like music, shows etc. They started at 9:30 which we felt was a little late. Saying that, the demographic of the hotel is certainly 60+ and mostly German. For the hotel manager if you read: You should clean up the corridors around the elevators (9th floor). Imagine getting to your home for a week, getting out of the elevator to your room to see a dump of old beds and furniture and trash in some side room, missing plasterboard and paint. It made us a little nervous as to what was to come. Overall it's not a bad property, you get what you pay for and as long as you are not paying too much, it's a nice spot to enjoy the island. There are loads of surfing slot around the area too which is a plus.

We had a great time at the hotel, staff were very friendly, grounds were immaculate and very spacious. The pools were a very decent size with a great layout with nice open or quiet areas to relax in. Lovely little adjoining beach with friendly wildlife. Hotel room was of a decent standard and was made up every day. The food was of a good standard with good options too, although not sure about the queung system for the hot dishes, as certain people would tend to push in like a free for all. A very European hotel, which suited us fine. My biggest gripe and was very frustrating, was the big ques to get any type of drink. They often had 1 person serving (who was always smiling) , which was very annoying, especially as a single parent. Most other places are self serve for basic drinks. Overall I would stay again, but they seriously need more bar staff.

Whilst the general ambience is calm and tranquil, I have been to far better 4 star hotels on this wonderful island. The hotel is dated and needs some real investment and maintenance. There is a real lack of attention to maintenance issues, which no doubt the maintenance team just cannot keep up with. It seems there is a lack of staff in the bars as there are long queues regularly which puts a lot of stress on the smiling bar and wait staff. Pools are lovely and grounds are kept spotless. Everyone is reminded that queues are not necessary at the buffet area - just look around and dip in when you see something you want whilst being respectful to each other, it’s easy… no need for tutting when you are queuing up for no reason. For a sustainable hotel I would suggest a plastic cup “rental” mechanism for round the pool and not disposable cups that can be washed and reused and handed back at the end of the day. Nice and pleasant staff, who always have a smile even when very busy. This place could be absolutely amazing if the rooms and main hotel were upgraded and kept well.
