“Nice chilled break”

We stayed here for 4 nights and after reading other reviews were pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely relaxing break. There are 3 pools, plenty of sun loungers for everyone and a beach. The evening entertainment was good, can't comment on the childrens entertainment as we didn't have the children with us. The food was really good and tasty, plenty of choice. The alcoholic drinks were just the standard all inclusive type but were perfectly fine. The hotel and rooms are a little dated but were clean so we weren't overly bothered. The bars seemed understaffed and at times were quite big queues but staff work hard and the queues soon went down. We would return again as definitely couldn't complain for the price we paid.

“First family holiday with 8 month old.”

We came with our 8 month old son, on arrival staff at reception very friendly. Explained the layout of the hotel & provided us with a map too. explained our room was a little distance from reception, we had to go up a lift to get to our floor but almost through the main building! No one to assist with luggage or directions to the room, we had a buggy, two rucksacks, a small wheeled cabin bag & a large suitcase. We had to stop and ask other guests how to get to our room in the end. Room is adequate, almost everything you need. balcony is large with two chairs a table & small drying rack attached to the wall. view from the balcony is lovely, can see the sea and forward facing so not very overlooked. The room however does not have a kettle - bear this in mind if you need to make bottles! there is however a fridge. Shower pressure very good. two single beds, pushed together to make a double & a travel cot was provided (which is on wheels so fantastic). bathroom large, shower over the bath with a big sink space. air conditioning in the room has been basically non existent, it’s always on however not powerful enough to cool the room, so we have been sleeping with the balcony door open for additional breeze (it’s been incredibly windy for our stay) but then ofc this lets in mosquitoes. house keeping are prompt and very good. breakfast served in main hotel restaurant (this is two resorts now one hotel) very large seating arrangement, lots of tables. food is good, rarely stuck on what to eat even if you’re a picky eater. the food does cater to English with a fair few english options, yesterday there was a beef stew with vegetables and there’s always a tomato pasta and chips too. You may have to dig for a clean plate as most feel like they’re rinsed rather than washed. snack bar by the pool opens at 10:30 and there is usually one person on the bar - it helps to go with two people to get as many drinks as you can carry to avoid queueing again. there are 2 x baby pools & 3 normal pools at the resort and the one snack bar is not enough to cater for the amount of guests they have during peak time. people reserve sunbeds every day, as early as 8am even though there is signage everywhere to say this is forbidden, no staff enforce this. the soft mattress for your sunbed are not provided on your sunbeds and they are a “if you’re up early enough to get one, you can have one” with that being said, there’s only about 10 for over 300 sunbeds so pick your bed wisely! pool bar serves drinks in a plastic cup, to which we’ve had to order multiple drinks multiple times as the cups haven’t been clean. my partner said there was a piece of food floating in a fresh drink he had ordered so he decided to go to the hotel shop and has been purchasing drinks from there (this is a shame when you pay all inclusive) - this is also where you buy bottles of water as not available from any of the bars on the resort and staff not fluent in english to explain this. Only beer on tap is Amstel. bins scattered around the pools for empty cups but people put food in these too (not the resorts fault) but this does attract flies so be wary on where you choose your sunbed. hotel does have a beach, sandy yes but also very rocky on entry to the sea. lifeguards scattered around and they do change the flags throughout the day but most people have ignored these. there are games on everyday by the main pool - this can get noisy so this is also something to bear in mind, the beds here also disappear first and by the time you have had breakfast there’s no beds left! the hotel shop is great, has almost everything you need. there is a selection of floaties for the pool and arm bands however, nothing suitable for a child under 2 which is a shame as had i of known this i would’ve packed something for our son. the older side of the hotel has a bar as well mainly for evening use, not much outdoor seating but inside is available too. they also had a karaoke night on a monday to which i wasn’t aware and it did get quite loud there. there is also evening entertainment but i can’t comment as we didn’t attend. general atmosphere is friendly and nice, the hotel does feel a little run down in areas and could use a pick me up. the lifts feel old and feel as though they could break when you’re in them, some move very very slowly. Overall, have met some very friendly people, staff make a fuss over a baby which is nice. We have definitely had what we paid for but unfortunately would not return.
