We had a fantastic visit here and were so impressed. Highlights: -The service is excellent, staff were friendly and welcoming in all areas - housekeeping, entertainment, restaurant staff, reception. Including being provided with toddler equipment that wasn't listed on their website when asked. There were hardly any queues at the pool bar or restaurant. - Exercise classes were great and the gym was well equipped and a nice space. - My eldest really enjoyed the junior club, I also thought they did a good job of making activities such as water polo and football fine for kids to join in who didn't want to leave their parents. -The bar drinks menu of inclusive drinks is extensive with branded spirits and mixers. - There was a lovely spread at the buffet, we loved the freshly cooked option. Spanish, Mexican and Italian nights were favourites. My kids loved being able to help themselves from the child level ship table. - The location was really interesting, seeing so many volcanos made for a really unique holiday. The hotel is a fantastic base for some great days out with very different beaches a short walk away, and Timanfeya and Jameos del Agua a short drive away. - One member of staff in particular in the restaurant staff would always laugh and joke with my kids and really made our stay. - The rooms are well equipped, having an empty fridge and microwave was helpful. A small touch, but I loved how there was a large drying rack and with the breezy weather clothes always dried quickly. I also liked how the hotel had a box to share pool toys and buckets etc. Where it could do better: - Cocktails were too sweet for my tastes made by machine so I couldn't ask for alterations. No big deal but this might lead me to choose half board next time. - Whilst we were there, mini and maxi clubs were combined, this meant that one day when my 8yo wanted to give kids club a try, he was in a club with mostly 4yos and no one his age which wasn't appropriate. It's not the hotels fault as I think they were combined due to poor take up of the clubs, but something to be aware of.

Great hotel for families. From the minute of arriving the whole family was welcomed. The kids were spoken to rather than through the us (their parents). They were offered their own AL bands or just a daisy band. They could turn off room access on the bands which I thought was a great touch. Rooms were clean and tidy. Whole lot of toiletries so you don’t need to take your own. The rooms were mos certainly big enough for us 4. Loved the choice and variety of drinks at the bar. No plastic in sight (if you stayed in the bar) Bar snacks were amazing, cooked to order. And again the staff were so helpful and friendly. Kids club was great. My girls really enjoyed it! My only gripe was I would have liked to see some more pool side entertainment. I don’t think I noticed the team once around the pool. Sometimes it’s over bearing being asked to play games ect but we didn’t see anything and so like to participate. Kids disco was ok. The team do a great job and you wonder where all the kids come from! I wasn’t a fan of the seating, theatre style, it wasn’t very friendly given your there with family. You could has a conversation unless you were playing Chinese whispers. No evening entertainment in the bar which was disappointing because we didn’t take the in house shows. Just wernt our cup of tea. I think food and drink wides. Best AL we’ve done. Kids entertainment was great. Just needed a little extra for adults. Overall a great holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We recently stayed here , returned home yesterday. We had a lovely time. Positives : *Close to the airport *Has a pharmacy & doctor right outside the reception entrance and loads of close by amenities * Food ( buffet ) was delicious and there was a great selection which seemed of good quality and standard * Staff were all lovely that we dealt with * Kids club & kids activities were great * The share toy box by the pool is great and saves you buying loads of pool toys and swim noodles , people take and return from it * Loved the fact we had balcony and clothes airer and the on site self service washer & dryer €5 charge but handy Negatives * The small playground on site was closed a few of the days of our stay so our 2 year old missed that * We were given a room which required use of stairs to access it , no lift so with suitcases and buggy it was difficult , next time we visit we will ask for a ground floor room * Some parts of the room were a little dated and worn but in a busy place with lots of footfall particularly children I suppose it’s to be expected Family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 kids ( 2 & 7 )

Upon arrival we were given a brief but adequate briefing about the hotel and amenities. We went off to find our room but this was not easy!! The signage is not very straight forward. Dinner - slightly chaotic and very child heavy - we have children but they are 8 and 9 and even they found it a bit loud at times. If you have small children you’d probably be happy as they definitely cater for younger kids with their pirate themed restaurant. Food was good with plenty of salad choices and hot meat options. Lunch - we sometimes ate out in the evening so swapped our evening half board for lunch which we found a bit less chaotic and again a good variety of food. The pool is fine with one heated and plenty of sunbeds. Room - clean, functional but basic and small for 4 people. Our bathroom was very small. Only one small sink and very little room for toiletries. Only real complaint would be there was no assistance with luggage and there is no lift. Fine for my husband but if you were elderly or unable to carry a heavy suitcase up flights of stairs, this would not be ideal. Overall a reasonable hotel but wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you have small children and definitely don’t come here if you don’t have children. Location very good - plenty of nice restaurants nearby and good value. Weather has been terrible this week but I think we’ve been unlucky.
