We have just returned from an amazing stay and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, but we’d especially like to thank Paula, Mark, Rahul and Gianluca, who all went above and beyond to make our stay special. The housekeeping team were also fantastic and kept everything spotless throughout our visit. We upgraded to the Reserve area, and for us it was worth every penny. The Reserve pool was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, never felt crowded, and the Bali beds were cute. The cocktails at the Reserve pool bar were lovely too. We enjoyed all of the restaurants during our stay especially La Graciosa, and the buffet was particularly good with plenty of choice. A special mention has to go to the desserts – the cakes at the buffet were absolutely incredible! I genuinely had at least two slices every day because they were just that good. We also really appreciated all the little touches that made our holiday feel extra special. Having a concierge service was fantastic, and we loved returning to our room to find thoughtful gifts waiting for us on our last day. The hotel’s location is another huge plus, with direct access to the beach, making it so easy to go for a swim or a walk whenever we wanted. Finally, the gym deserves a special mention. It is exceptionally well equipped for a hotel gym. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so memorable!

My partner and I go on one to two all inclusive holidays a year and this is by far our favourite yet! We just finished a week here and can see why the hotel uses the name paradise. Although it was built in the 70s the hotel has been modernised while also maintaining its classic charm. The majority of rooms (the garden villas are in a separate area I believe) are in the main portion of the hotel over five storeys with a beautiful garden in the middle with real plants and a pond with fish. Our room was a decent size with a gorgeous view of the ocean. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to cleaning your room in the day they also offer a turn down service. There is the option to upgrade to reserve when you arrive. We didn’t so I can’t comment too much on this but I believe it gives you larger rooms on the higher floors. We could also see the reserve pool from our room which was slightly less busy and had comfier sunbeds. The hotel offers a variety of amenities including multiple bars/restaurants, a gym, a spa, tennis courts and 2 pools (one is reserve). We never had any issues finding sun beds by the pool (even in the afternoons if you come down late) however the ones with umbrellas/in the shade do go quickly. We appreciated that there was no loud music by the pool so you could properly switch off. As the vibe of the hotel is focused on relaxation, the evening entertainment was limited to live music (which was fine with us). Instead they offer more day time activities like aqua fitness, yoga/stretching, art classes, etc. You need to book some of the workshops so it’s worth checking the app in advance. The food and drink was some of the best we have had at an all inclusive. The drinks were all freshly made using top brand alcohol and not watered down. I really liked that they offered sparkling wine with meals as well (not many resorts do). All of the restaurants were great so I would recommend going to all 3. They release the reservations only 48 hours in advance at midnight on their app so it’s a much more fair booking system. On the whole our experience with the staff was extremely positive. There were a few who could be a bit short (which to be honest would happen anywhere you go) but most were very friendly and really accommodating with any request you had. There were a few points of feedback which would definitely not stop us coming back but worth pointing out: -the gym only had one treadmill which meant having to queue some days to use it. Also there is a really nice functional training studio attached but you can’t use it unless you pay an additional 12 euro a day. -they came to restock the minibar in the room every day with fresh water, soda, beer and snacks but for some reason never gave us more coffee pods and milk. This meant we had to go down to reception each day and ask for more. -while I really liked the concept of the bracelet room key, it stopped working 3 times during our stay. The man at reception said unfortunately this is very common and is a design flaw where the chip gets displaced and then fails. -it took a really long time to get a drink from the ginger bar in the evening as it was always really busy. This is through no fault of the staff as you could see them running between tables. It would be more fair on them if they had a few more staff on in the evenings to help them. Overall we had a wonderful time and definitely plan to come back again soon!

4 stars not 5 as a few points let it down. Check in very good but as we arrived at 12noon by private transfer ( which is included in tje Hotel prive) oir room.wasnt ready. We inquired about an upgrade and was told for €630 we would have a sea view. Asked what the difference in room was and the lady said no difference at all. We decided not to pay the extra, when we got our room we had a sea view anyway. Apparently tje higher up ypu go that's the price increase but all rooms have a sea view anyway. The room was very nice beach towels slippers and dressing gowns all provided. Free safe and well stocked mini bar. Bathroom had hairdryer with toothbrushes (Bamboo) type. Creams and shower products as well. Beds were turned down and rooms cleaned daily. Maids did an excellent job. Food in the restaurants was excellent. Always something to eat even if you are picky. Staff there always around for drinks and to clean up dishes again excellent and very friendly. We booked the Samira restaurant and the food and service again excellent. Poolside lots of sunbeds and parasols. Always very clean around the pool. We used the Shack quite a few times to eat and the food was great. The lady who served us most days deserves a mention and Guilleramo (sorry for the bad spelling) for keeping us hydrated everyday behind the bar. The entertainment team of Soria Joana and Raquel were fabulous. Asked if you wanted join in but never pushy if you said no. Evening entertainment was ok, a band or singer or DJ some nights also some synchronized swimming one night. There was a beach bar but you had to pay for drinks but got a 20% discount. Let downs: Sunbeds should have cushions you are a 5 star Hotel. Cabana beds €50 a day to use Wow! We were there 2 weeks and didn't see them used once! Reserve people coming to our side to reserve sunbeds shouldn't be aloud. Trying to charge us extra for a sea view room when we had a sea view anyway not on. We did get asked to go to the circle club meeting but after some digging on the internet we said no. Very expensive to join. We weren't asked again. We would recommend the Hotel if you want a relaxing stay by the pool holiday. Thanks Chloe for the bottle of Carva in our room to celebrate our anniversary. Costa Teguise centre is a 10-15min walk away so the hotel is peaceful. Supermarket across the road a few bars within a 5 min walk. We don't go back to the same hotel but would consider another Melia hotel elsewhere.
