For anyone reading negative reviews. Please ignore. We have just come back from a week as a family. We stayed bed and breakfast. The hotel is in a perfect location Absolutely no complaints at all. Room was overlooking the pool (just) adequate space and wardrobe space. Breakfast choice was lovely.. Hotel reception excellent We arrived after a 4 hour delay in the early hours and a nice touch being taken you our rooms. Special mention to Danny the entertainment guy. Absolutely brilliant. Evening entertainment was good !! And Abdul in the bar .. what a guy !! All round excellent! Would definitely go here again

“Amazing central hotel right on beach”

We booked as walk ins planning only to stay 1 night. We stayed for 9!!! It was a beautiful, clean, spacious hotel. We booked as walk ins planning only to stay 1 night. We stayed for 9!!! It was a beautiful, clean, spacious hotel. Our room overlooked the beach right in front and was large with comfortable beds, a sette and a small kitchen. Staff are friendly, helpful and kind. Always acknowledge you. Shout out to MARCO who helped me when I had a fall. Very kind man. Drink prices reasonable. We did not eat in hotel. Very very central to everything. 3 mins walk to Puebli Marinero and back gate brings you into seafront promenade

A magical stay overall. Perfect location, really is a beautiful resort. Initially, had an issue with room but was immediately sorted and room changed instantly thanks to Cris and Martha. Martha was a superstar at reception, always smiling, very helpful and even remembered our names, a great credit to the hotel. Overall, brilliant. Some rooms very low maintenance while others just perfect but overall 5* ratings and we are returning for sure.

We stayed here at the end of March for a week. Booked directly with the hotel and paid a premium for what we thought was going to be a 4 star hotel. On arrival we were 'upgraded' to a junior suite with a sea view in block 2 on the second floor. I had my elderly father travelling with me who was in a separate room along the corridor. My dad and his partner, both in their 80's, were allocated a room on the second floor where the lifts were out of order for our whole stay. How the hotel thought my dad & his partner were going to get their suitcases to their rooms was beyond me, and we struggled lifting ours and their cases to our rooms. Going to the room was like a maze, the corridors had an extremely unusual layout and it was easy to get lost. The walls/corridors were shabby, flaking with paint and the walkways were so narrow that you couldn't pass the cleaners' trollies. The signage was shabby and unclear, making the rooms much harder to find. Some days our room door wouldn't open with our key, and the gate leading back into the hotel from the seafront didn't work with our key on the last few days. We had to help our family members to pull the door hard shut when leaving or closing the room door behind them, which was a safety and security concern. The two rooms we had, albeit with sea views, were dated and grubby. I learned later in the week that other rooms seem to have been refurbished. The twin was particularly small, with nowhere to sit other than the balcony which was freezing cold due to the wind. Our 'junior suite' was just ok - flaking paint on the balcony, and a strange random empty room which had no door and served no apparent purpose. We came back one night to a trio of cockroaches in the room. The shower was weak but useable and the fridge wasn't working so we had to ask reception to sort that, which then be fair they did quickly. Half way through our week, we asked to move rooms to face the pool and the hotel were able to accommodate this the next day. This room was amazing by comparison - more modern and the balcony, whilst small, got the sun on an evening and was perfect for us. My other two big disappointments with this hotel; firstly that the pool was advertised as being heated and it was freezing, as other reviews have noted. I naively thought it would be heated over the high season Easter holidays but it wasn't. Having our 12 year old son with us who loves to swim, this was an important factor in us choosing this hotel and extremely disappointing when the pool was so cold. Secondly, my father and his partner wanted to stay here because the hotel was advertised as having evening entertainment. During our 7 night stay, there were acts on two out of the 7 nights. One was excellent, the other was dire. On three of the other nights the entertainment staff ran a karaoke session. Not their fault as they all worked really hard but listening to that was excruciating at times and far from 'entertainment'. On a positive note: -All staff were extremely hardworking, helpful and friendly - they definitely made us warm to the hotel. - The drinks were good and although we were self catering, our other family members staying on half board reported that on most nights, the food was amazing. We also ordered food at lunchtime quite a few times, and the prices and quality were good. - The location is excellent and is right next to the seafront and the beach. It only took us 2 minutes to walk into the centre of Costa Teguise. - We loved our pre-dinner drinks at the Brandy Well pub, which is connected to the lobby - slightly grubby pub but lovely sun trap as the sun went down and there was no wind. Would we return? No. I thought it was overpriced for what we paid and it was nowhere near a 4*. You are paying for the location and on a total sun/wind lottery with the room allocation.
