This is a lovely self catering apartment complex. We arrived at the tail end of a storm and it was raining heavily, TUI had sent a message with our room number/code and the code to enter the complex. The staff were friendly and efficient, the check-in process was straight forward and we were given two key cards for our room and complex entry door. We had booked a first floor apartment with roof solarium. The apartment we excellent and the kitchen area had everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The bathroom was clean as was the bedroom, perfect. Towels were changed every third day and the bedding was changed three times in our two week stay, when we felt the towels didn't need changing we put a sign on the apartment door. The solarium was a lovely space, just a shame it was the wrong time of year to fully appreciate it. The pool area was a relaxing space and the pool was cleaned regularly, there was also a lifeguard everyday. There is also a gym, lounge area, games room, laundry room and an area to store luggage, if required. Within a 3 minute walk there are café bars and restaurants and the centre of the village is about a 7-10 minute walk away. The beach is literally no more than 100 metres away. This is a lovely apartment complex and I would not hesitate to recommend it and we will return. El Cotillo itself is a lovely quiet village, there are many places to have a lovely meal, it is very much a café bar culture and a smattering of Spanish will go a long way. There are two new apartment buildings in construction at the moment meaning there is some building noise, there are also properties being renovated around the village, nothing that would ever stop me going back.

Greeted by a lovely lady receptionist, that allowed us an early check. Beautiful and clean apartment, with all you need for self catering. We had a downstairs apartment, advantage of this is that the terrace is huge and therefore could get sun most of the day. We were lucky enough to have very friendly neighbours and one evening enjoyed a drink together on the open terrace. The staff, including the life guard and chamber maids, all extremely friendly, they do a great job of keeping this place immaculate. No hassle for loungers around the pool, they are plentiful. 2-3 minute walk to bars, restaurants and the supermarket. We will be back. Thank you.
