Hotel is lovely, very clean and well kept. Staff are professional and friendly- nothing was too much trouble for them. The adults only wellness area is great if, like us, you’ve had your children and want a relaxing holiday. The restaurant was clean and well kept with a good choice of freshly cooked food along with salads, fresh fruit etc. It was great to be able to walk along the (mostly) uncrowded beach - just be aware that there are nudists on the beach. We will be back 😍

Lovely location with direct access to the beach. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Reception staff friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in. Essencia room beautiful and close to the new coral pool and chill out bar. El Mirador opened during our stay after renovation serving snacks and drinks during the day, this was right next to the new pool. Food was very good with plenty of choices at each meal time. A fantastic stay, we would recommend to anyone.

“Esencia - not a thing.”

We booked this hotel after our previous holiday was cancelled. We specifically paid for the Esencia part of the hotel; however, when we arrived, we were told that “this does not exist,” which was confusing and disappointing. We booked this hotel after our previous holiday was cancelled. We specifically paid for the Esencia part of the hotel; however, when we arrived, we were told that “this does not exist,” which was confusing and disappointing. Upon arrival, we were checked in and given the wrong wristbands. Thankfully, this was corrected the following morning. We were also handed a map of the resort and sent on our way without any guidance on how to find our room, which wasn’t the best first impression. We only used the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. You had to time your visit carefully as it became extremely busy. In the evenings, only one gentleman regularly offered to refill our drinks and always had a smile on his face. He was a lovely asset to the hotel. It was also strange that evening drinks were only served in wine glasses. The walls are incredibly thin, and you can hear people moving furniture, banging doors, and talking in neighbouring rooms. We had particularly noisy guests next door and asked if we could move rooms, but were simply told that “it wasn’t that easy.” As the holiday went on, the so-called 16+ pool area became extremely overcrowded and often had children around it. It reached the point where people were placing their belongings next to our sun loungers and crowding around us, leaving us unable to relax, so we ended up leaving the area. The poolside restaurant was excellent for lunch and offered a good variety of food. The pool bar itself was also lovely, but we had an unpleasant experience one morning. The sign stated it opened at 10:00 am. When I approached the bar at that time, the lady behind the bar simply wagged her finger at me and said it wasn’t open. Shortly afterwards, another guest who appeared to speak the same language as her was served without being turned away, which left a poor impression. We also enquired about a late check-out and were initially told it was available. After taking some time to decide, we returned the following day to book it, only to be told they needed our room and it was no longer possible. On a positive note, the photographers were very friendly, and so were the cleaning staff. Unfortunately, some members of the reception and pool bar staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful. Overall, while there were some positives, there were several disappointing aspects of our stay, particularly considering we had paid extra for the Esencia experience.
