A great family hotel! Positives: - extremely CLEAN, spotless!! - great food and drink (decent all inclusive drinks included e.g. brand name gin, Aperol, decent local rum etc) - good labelling of food; my husband is a vegetarian coeliac and found something tasty to have everyday and didn't get ill at all....no cross contamination here! - quality evening entertainment, the magician was genuinely amazing! - great selection of pools for every age - staff are all so lovely and attentive, constantly cleaning/clearing, absolute credit to the hotel! - beach is a very short walk away, to vary up the days! - we appreciate the hotels commitment to the environment and eco initiatives.....loved the little reuse area for people to leave floats, spades etc....and no single use straws! Cons: - didn't like that the kids beds in the family room were in the main area; I felt nervous that they were in a room which opened onto the main corridor and also onto the balcony (would've preferred the kids beds to be in the inner room, where the double bed is) - not much organised pool entertainment (previously stayed in another iberostar and they had pool carpets and competitions etc all the time with music)....I suspect they assume the pre built facilities are enough to keep everyone entertained! - pools are very chilly on windy/overcast days and/or in the mornings....can they be heated in these cases? Overall an incredible hotel which we would definitely recommend! Thank you to all the staff for creating a memorable family holiday :)

Wow, our recent stay in April was truly an exceptional family holiday. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to ensuring our stay was perfect. We arrived late and they greeted us with a drink and allowed us into the dining hall to grab some food even though it was closing. The grounds and buildings were meticulously cleaned, and the lovely aroma surrounding the hotel added to the overall experience. The food options were by far the best we have encountered in an all-inclusive hotel! There were numerous freshly cooked stations, a fantastic kids’ corner option, and a wide array of drinks available. Being able to self-serve branded alcoholic drinks was definitely an additional perk! Our kids were absolutely thrilled with the swimming pool area. The slides and bouncy pillow kept them entertained for hours. The only downside was that the pools were a bit cold; however, we might have just experienced some unfortunate cold weather during our stay. The entertainment team was fantastic, offering a variety of activities that our kids loved, from the water carpet to the inflatable assault course. The mini disco each night and the evening shows were highlights as well. Not to mention, the stunning beach which was less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel—simply beautiful! We are seriously considering returning next year, and we can’t thank the staff enough for making our first family holiday abroad so memorable.

5/5: Our 5th Visit and Still Absolute Perfection! Our family of four is currently staying at the Iberostar Waves Gaviotas Park for our fifth time, and it remains our absolute favorite holiday destination. Returning year after year is a testament to how incredible this resort is, and our current trip is proving to be another flawless experience! What We Are Loving Shining Star Staff: A special mention goes to Elina at reception. She was super helpful, incredibly welcoming, and went completely out of her way to ensure our arrival was smooth and effortless. Ideal Room Setup: Booking two interconnected rooms was the best decision for our family. It gives us the perfect balance of privacy, space, and togetherness. Premium Poolside Location: Being situated right opposite the swimming pool is incredibly convenient. We love being just steps away from the water and the daytime action. Excellent Dining Variety: The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and diverse. Both adults and kids are finding fantastic options at every single meal. Fantastic Entertainment: The professional shows are absolute masterclasses, and the live music is equally impressive. After five wonderful visits, the combination of perfect room locations, excellent amenities, and top-tier service keeps us coming back. We are having a wonderful time and are already looking forward to booking our sixth stay next year!

Excellent hotel, I had previously emailed the hotel as my daughter has celiacs disease, the first two nights for dining were stressful for her, communication not passed on, but after speaking to juan customer services, hope I have the right spelling everything went smoothly from there, the two chefs who dealt with her were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough, she avoided breakfast as it was so busy, but they did have a gluten feee section where she got some cakes and then fruit. There is also a toaster for gluten free bread, you just have to rely that others don’t use it!! We had a side sea view, lovely size room, beds comfortable, there is a fridge in the room, shower was great. Food exceptional, different choices every night and plenty of variety. Drinks all branded. Pool area lots of sun beds and pools are lovely. Entertainment plenty on offer for adults and kids. The hotel is very clean and all staff work amazingly hard and are all very friendly and polite, the beach is stunning and the water is very clear, sun beds hire is 9 euro per sunbed. It is a family oriented hotel, even though we have come out of school holidays there were a lot of kids, more than I expected.
