Location: very quiet… would recommend a car unless you are quite happy to stay in the hotel or go to the beach everyday. Beach-great Mini disco we found a bit boring at first, same songs quite often however we have come home singing and dancing to the those songs on YouTube so haha! We did have a problem with the smell in our first room but we were moved and our new room was fab! A big shoutout to Alina part of the animation team, she really knew her stuff and you could see the newer members of the team were learning from her (they were pretty lost at times! And looked like they didn’t want to be there) Shout out to the guy who took our suitcases to our room, I wish I knew his name but if he reads this… you said how tanned we were after a few days 😂 Weather, we came Easter half term and the weather had been awful before we came but we defiantly came at a good time! Apart from a small sand storm we had sunshine and hot weather! Unfortunately our little girl had to see the doctor due to being poorly and we were quite disappointed with the doctor, we accidentally dropped the thermometer and it broke and she went crazy! We said sorry it was an accident but she became very unprofessional and was fuming at us! But that’s not the hotels fault. One other thing I will mention, I decided to use the ice cream machine which I saw others using as I was on the way to the machine. As I pulled down the handle, the ice cream sprayed out everywhere! All over me and I stood there completely covered in ice cream, all in my eyes and so sticky. I told a member of staff working in that particular restaurant and he said ‘well you shouldn’t have used it’ (the machine).. as if it was my fault!!! I said there should have been a sign to say don’t use it but they were so unbothered which I was not happy about. However. What a great stay! I would defiantly recommend the hotel 100%!!!

“A good multi generation family hotel”

The hotel takes special care and attention to children and their experiences - it has mini play areas on every floor and even in the restaurant should you like. The small pool was ideal for our 2.5 year old every day. The hotel is a short walk away from an incredible sandy beach, with tennis courts and a play park on the way. The kids and adult entertainment packages throughout the day and night were great and again, special shout out to the star camp team who have incredible energy levels and make every encounter with the kids special. The food and drink is fresh and tasty and there's a good variety. The spa was sadly closed during our visit and whilst we could use the facilities next door we didn't find these were of great quality. Location wise is okay, we did not visit Morro Jable as it was too far in the pram although it is located close to the highest point of the island (so a good long trail run nearby without the kid!). Overall, we had a very special week holiday here and again, a great experience with Iberstar!

“Great holiday”

We were greated after a late arrival with a very friendly receptionist, she offered us drinks, let us into the restaurant for some food and helped us to our room with cases. We were greated after a late arrival with a very friendly receptionist, she offered us drinks, let us into the restaurant for some food and helped us to our room with cases. The transfer to the hotel was long but was well worth it on waking up to the view from our room. Food- Is okay we never went hungry and my husband is quite a fussy eater. Pools- Are great for children 10 and under there isn't much here for children over this age at all. Rooms- Amazing 🤩 we were over the moon with our room,cleaned daily, fresh towels if I were to be picky I would say more clothes storage would be beneficial for bigger families. Entertainment - needs improvement, same songs daily, same meet and great with Starkey & Stella and having pictures taken. Some of the shows were good but this I would say is were improvements need to be made, the theatre room is not set out properly, Entertainment staff are lovely. The biggest problem we have found during our stay has been the other guests this is something the hotel has no control over, people allow their children to take other children's belongings, children are not supervised and just left to run rogue. We had an adult ask if a seat was spare next to us in the entertainment room to which we said yes and she helped herself to our crisps and gave the child she had with her the bowl of crisps, this is probably 75% of the guests and rude and inconsiderate. As a whole the hotel staff are friendly however this hotel is definitely catered more towards German families. The location if you are a beach lover is perfect, Beautiful part of the world, would I visit the hotel again probably not, do I regret coming absolutely not.

“First Impressions: Holiday ruined. Better later.”

The hotel was OK eventually, but we had a bad start for the first few days. On arrival we were given details orally only by the receptionist, no written instructions. We had booked (and paid for) a junior suite with a limited/ oblique sea view, on floors 4-6. We were shown to a basic double room on the ground floor with no view. (A tree directly in front of it and a public path around 5 or6 m from the patio doors) There was no literature in the room about the hotel details or maps. We complained about the room and were told there were no junior suites available! We replied “not good enough, what are you going to do about it?” About an hour later we were told a room of the type we booked would be available the next day. Strangely, this room was absolutely as described in an email from the hotel, sent to us a few days previously. “Floors 4-6 with a view of Club Aldiana” This appears to be indicative of a shortcoming in management or the room allocation procedure. How can you accept a booking when the room is not available? Following this, the room was very cold. We reported this to reception, and nothing happened for a few days. I went personally to reception to ask what is happening, and was told there is no heating in the rooms, and thankfully was given a fan heater. Good points: Very friendly and helpful staff in all areas, and very clean. Excellent choice and quality of food, but not always labelled so didn’t always know what it was. Strangely for a 4 star hotel, there was an early and late sitting for meals. Once you had decided on arrival, that was it. However it did seem to be quite relaxed in application. The hotel facilities for children was marvellous, both outside in the pools and in the hotel, with a junior disco every night. All the pools were heated. Adult evening entertainment was of a very high quality both in the bar and theatre, apart for a couple of theatre acts which were a bit dubious. The ban on reserving sun loungers was not enforced, but apart for the better positioned loungers which had towels on them from around 8am, there were plenty of sun loungers available. All the drinks were top range branded, self service in both restaurants. Plenty of water stations were dotted all around the hotel. Just a warning for those with mobility or fitness issues, there are approx. 30 steps from the pool area to the restaurant, and around 40 to reception.
