“Best Apartments in Las Palmas”

Stayed here pre-covid and last few days. These are the best apartments available in Las Palmas that we have found. Unless you know differently. We had the 2 bed duplex on the 6th floor. It has everything anyone could need. The location is great for all your needs. Love them

These apartments are in a great location, 1 min walk from Las Canteras Beach and bars and restaurants. 2 min walk to a large supermarket and 4 min walk to the nearest bus stop. These apartments are in a great location, 1 min walk from Las Canteras Beach and bars and restaurants. 2 min walk to a large supermarket and 4 min walk to the nearest bus stop. The apartment its self is adequate and clean and basic, view to the beach but no balcony, which would have been nice. There is a lift so that was good. There is air con, but was not available as no remote, when I asked via email, there was no reply, but was not a major issue, as the room was cool with the patio doors open. My gripe was there was no instructions for washing machine and cooker, and no welcome guides to any local amenities. We had 2 single beds with 1 sheet and bed spread, and 1 blanket in the wardrobe, and 1 large pillow each, but was ok. The kitchen was ok, fridge, cooker kettle, toaster, microwave and mugs and cutlery. but no glasses for drinks, so we had to acquire. But I would stay here again

“Modern apartments very near beach”

We stayed in one of the two top floor duplex apartments (the 3 bedroom). This means we got a small balcony (I don't think there are balconys on the lower floors). We stayed in one of the two top floor duplex apartments (the 3 bedroom). This means we got a small balcony (I don't think there are balconys on the lower floors). It gets sun for a decent period of the day. The apartment is modern although not wholly protected against young kids - the bedroom windows and doors to the balcony and a separate juliet balcony do not lock and there are big falls on the other side of them if kids open them and get climby. Also, the main door can be opened from the inside just by the door handle. So vigilant ears required (or well behaved kids!). The check in is also a bit of a puzzle as you need to go to RK Luz a 5 minute walk south along the beach, then walk up to the apartments along the pedestrianised beachside walkway. You don't need to go back for check-out but all reception style services are at the RK Luz. There is no reception at the RK Canteras. The location is on a pedestrianised street (although taxis can come down), close to the Port Market and of course Las Canteras beach which is good for a city beach. The beachside walkway is very pleasant and there are numerous restaurants and bars around (although we didn't hear noise in the apartment, even on a Saturday night). Even Santa Catalina Park is probably only a 15 minute walk away, although with the kids we caught the bus from the stop by the Port Market. Overall, its a good option.
