We stayed a week during Christmas and were pleasantly surprised! Most of the rooms are on the side of the building, yes the same side as the bar I'd read about, but thankfully we were up on the 5th floor towards the front of the hotel so were free from the smoking and noise from the bar. There were 2 of everything you needed in the kitchen, which was funny because it made you do the dishes afterwards because there were no extra for later! The room was a good size, the two single beds together worked perfectly ok for us, clothes storage was an 'open concept' but decent (space to roll your empty suitcase under) and the balcony was sufficient with two chairs and a table. Like other people have mentioned, there are lots of bars, restaurants and a Spar close by so if you don't want to cook there are many options. The beach strip was our favorite, all be it always windy! - there are loads of cafes, bars and restaurants there with a great view, and hours of people watching! Overall the hotel was great, always a hello from the staff when you came and went, and a pleasure to stay in - highly recommended!

We visited in mid March with Jet2 holidays. Although the hotel does not have a pool or outside lounging area, it is only 3 blocks from the promenade and beach. The room (505) was modern and comfortable with a nice bathroom and shower with lashings of hot water, more than adequate kitchen facilities, effective air-conditioning, comfortable beds and excellent WiFi - we could stream tv with a VPN. We opted for a balcony which is worth it but the view, as expected, was of the next-door apartment block. There is a Superdino supermarket opposite and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The beach is huge and lovely, with a pleasant promenade. In March, sunbeds were €3 or €3.50 with no time limit.

My wife and I booked through Jet 2 having never been to Gran Canaria we found a great deal so went for it, hotel was spotless and the Staff are very helpful, we were in 308 our balcony was on the side of the hotel so not much of a view other than apartments opposite, as stated in many reviews the glazed balcony doors definitely kill any noise so we both managed a peaceful sleep, the gym on the basement level was great although Suana was out of commission at the time of our visit, the kitchen area provided everything we needed to cook when required, filter coffee machine toaster and standard kettle all provided, plenty shops nearby for food supplies, and an abundance of restaurants all around. The collection point for airport transfer isn't directly at the hotel but is only a 5 minute walk to a nearby plaza, not an issue for us but do bear this in mind is you use a standard transfer service as part of your holiday. Very short walk to Las Canteras beach, we enjoyed pleasant walks in the morning and evening. If you are looking for a resort type holiday I would suggest looking elsewhere on the island, but if you enjoy a city style break this is perfect. To summarise the hotel is clean and comfortable, perfect to unwind in after a day exploring.

A conveniently located 3* hotel which met most of our needs. We had a large, clean ensuite room (103) with cooking facilities at a good price. However, the fan didn't cool the room but when we opened the balcony door it let in street noise and passing cigarette smoke. When locked, the soundproofing was impressive. The kitchen was functional with a good refrigerator. Two cups, glasses, plates, etc, were provided and we bought tea towels. Storage was on open glass shelves with coat hangers above. There were plenty of power sockets. We would have liked instructions or guidance to use the fan, stove, etc. The shower floor was slippery without a mat so the cleaner gave us an extra floor towel to put in the shower. She was helpful and everything was clean. Two single beds were together but made up separately, with thin pillows. Ursula on front desk staff was warm, friendly and made us welcome. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would have liked to have had a safe and better aircon like we've had elsewhere.
