Checked in to this adult only hotel March 3rd for 16 nights. Room was very comfortable, with large TV, microwave and hob. All very clean, and really quiet, even with the doors open. Welcome pack of beers, soft drinks and water most appreciated. Water topped up daily, with tea and coffee. Plus bath robes and slippers provided. Hotel located 2 minutes walk to beach, where there's lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Also a great takeaway, Asadero, on Calle Faro, behind the hotel, which came in handy when we were placed in lock down at the end of the holiday. Having access to Netflix was useful too, as there are no English channels. Thank you to the reception staff, Alexandria, Tony and especially Gabby, who were so helpful and friendly, and made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here in March. Initial impressions not great, arrived from ''wrong end of street''. Arrived early as our cruise ship disembarked early. All locked, phoned telephone number shown outside but went through to central control who weren't very helpful, advised not staffed until 10am. didn't have entry code to gain access. Fortunately a couple of guests came out early and let us in so we could stow our luggage in a back room. Also gave us the entry code. We came back at 10am and met Tony (Antonio) on reception, things improved from hereon. Extremely nice lad, limited English but we communicated OK. He was extremely helpful and friendly. Transpires he not only mans the front desk but everything else, including the cleaning of the rooms, very hardworking. Very pleased with our room, large enough and with kitchen facilities including large fridge. The hotel suited us perfectly, minutes away from the beach (other end of street!). Away from the noise of the main promenade, slept really well. Tony shares his duties with Alexandre, alternate days, also very friendly and helpful. The owner lucky to have these two! Overall a thumbs up, clean, quiet, good location and reasonably priced. Need to sort out entry so on arrival guests can gain access and unload their luggage, I understand cannot have staff on duty all day as would not make economic sense for such a small hotel but giving the entry code to guests prior to arrival would be a big plus. We would and will return to Las Palmas, we really liked the resort, weather was superb in late March. Would definitely return to the Wavia hotel and it's friendly staff, Tony and Alexandre, thank you!

“Within our budget & very we’ll located”

I’d been doing a fair amount of research on hotels with a set budget and after taking several days came across this place… after approval from the wife we decided to book 5 nights here and the remaining 10 in the south of island ( San Agustin)… Anyway the deal included through bookings.com a complimentary taxi from airport…. We arrived and a friendly bloke on front desk checked us in… ( very causal / no uniform )… the room on 4th floor was what you see on web… with the exception of super comfortable beds…. We were pleased. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and when the staff were on front desk they were helpful as well…. The only negative points were, a broken /leaky shower head and lack of staff manning reception… I had to use messenger on Booking.com to contact staff Re tap/shower head and for enquiries… so you have to ask is it a hotel or apartment block/setup… On saying that we’d say again no problems at all for location and price. 352 euros 5 nights in September….
