Just got home from a week here. The hotel is lovely. The grounds are absolutely stunning. No problem with lighting . All pathways lit to your apartment. Rooms are a little run down. But. If you do have a problem maintenance are there. I didn’t have one. Underneath did and was fixed within 20 minutes. Cleaners came 6 out of 7. Pool is definitely fresh but didn’t seem a problem for my kids. Or the many others enjoying themselves. Don’t buy floaties. People leave them for others. The staff are constantly cleaning up after people around the pool. Bins everywhere so no need for rubbish to be left. I will say tho the wind blows stuff around too, which doesn’t help. Sun beds being removed and jet washed throughout the day. Beds Always available too. The water park is amazing. Lifeguards in full control of the slides and safety. The food was completely fine. A party of 6 all found something every mealtime. Some very fussy with us too. Again the tables get left in a mess. Not the staffs fault. They work so hard. They will always get you seated if it seems busy. There was various themed nights for food and always fresh pizza. We met some lovely families and couples. No bother noticed anywhere. Just people enjoying their holidays. We walked down to the beach once. Took the free shuttle bus few times. But taxis are about 4 euro. So we got them back and 6 seaters were same price. If your a coffee lover, don’t use the machine nearest the pool. Go to other end of restaurant. There is filter coffee. The bar at pool side is the one we used most. The cocktails are sweet … yes. But, if you ask for a little extra alcohol, they add no problem at all. But it’s their version of our spirits. They are hard working staff and serve you quickly. Soft drinks available all day long. The lager is Amstel which is self serve but beer from staff is better. Yes I read the reviews beforehand and I was nervous. But i didn’t go looking for stress. Everything worked as it should. The beautiful trees and plants leave bits everywhere, which would be a problem if people want spotless floors on balcony’s etc. if you are used to 5 star or even top end 4 star don’t go. It’s not for you. If you want a holiday of fun and happy kids, friendly people and staff, this is the place. I do believe staff are trying to improve the areas, based from reviews. I.e sun beds etc. they are working hard. I will note that if your apartment is based near the water park, a smell does linger From the water treatment area. Mainly evening. If I had been placed in any of those apartments, I would have asked to move. But you cannot smell it at all in the park itself. Just the last few apartments at the very end of the 2 rows. I think I’ve covered most things
