“Brilliant apartment”

We had a fantastic 5 days here. Private balcony overlooking sea and wonderful sunsets. Clean well appointed apartment. Locked secure car parking. Really near everywhere but we also hired bikes which were a godsend. I read some negative reviews and decided to ignore them. I was so glad we did. Wonderful. Because these are apartments not a hotel there is no permanent reception. But we found people when we needed them. We don't speak Spanish but the staff were so helpful and friendly it didn't matter. We will be back.

Great location, quiet and away from the very resorty end of Valle GR, we had an upstairs apartment and from our balcony we were totally private. The balcony was the best bit and we spent most of the day here in the sun chillin. The space was large and although a little tired it was well equipped and we needed for nothing. The pool was clean and perfect fo the occasional dip, it was never busy as I think the place mainly attracts couples. There is a local spar and we tried all of the supermarkets in VGR and this was probably the best stocked one. There was no washing liquid or a sponge in the place for washing up so would pack these. Also a bar of soap although you can get all of this at spar, prices we’re about the same or slightly more than the uk but I guess they have to import most things. There is a washing machine that is free to use and was small but good. Local eats, we would recommend the Italian for pizza, they also do take away and shiva the Indian - we ate here twice. Up the other end Abraxis was the best and by far our fave. Great fish! If you have intolerances to food this is the place to come as I have never seen so much info on every menu on gluten nuts etc.and loads of vegetarian options. The cafes on the front are great for people watching and there is Lots to see! The hippies give the place great colour and sometimes odour! And the rest of the Europeans in true continental style are not shy about getting their kit off! If this is your bag though the beach at the end of the road past the apartments is a nudist beach. The little square at night has a communal party feel and there are always performers on the beach with drums, juggling or fire throwing. You can get a beer at the sea front supermarket that they will pop for you then soak up the atmosphere and watch the sun go down..... There are no hawkers here, very few bucket and spade shops and it is a very non threatening place, we totally relaxed and will definitely go back. We Did a dolphin and whale watching tour on speedy boats, this was the fastest and smallest and a tip get on last and sit at the back! Saw loads of dolphins and pilot whales, all of these you book from the harbour at the far end. There are no mosquitos here, what a result! Negatives, the air con is a bit noisy if you have to have it on at night and the apartment is a little dated in places but so many good points.

The apartment was really good with full facilities. Everything was working really well, staff was friendly, apartment was clean and spacious. Pool and our own terrace were a hit! No better way of spending an evening than having a glass of wine and listening to the sound of the ocean. One little thing that took one star away was that we didn't have hot water in the shower, at best it was a little warm, in the mornings just cold. The reception is not open all the time, but the staff was very well available via phone all the time so that wasn't a problem. Definite recommendation to this place, we would definitely come back again. :)

“Enjoyable stay ”

We stayed here for a week with friends. Great location with stunning views. Well furnished and fully equipped. High standard of accommodation,well maintained. Service staff polite and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend.
