We have stayed at Parque Santiago lll into double figures over a 22 year period. Our family of four has just returned from Parque Santiago lll after a weeks stay in a 2 bed apartment. When we first walked into our allocated apartment, we were wowed with how big the space was, even better, was the huge balcony area, with four Sun loungers and a great view over the pool. It was lovely and clean and had a fairly large TV on the wall with all the different channels we would want. Kitchen area had a super easy to use oven and hob, kettle, toaster and..not one…but two fridges! which worked really well for our family as we ate breakfast and lunch in, for most of the time. Two large bedrooms with comfy beds, enough pillows for all and good space and hangers in the wardrobes. Just a note..the bed settee in the lounge is very comfy and the easiest one we have ever used to take out and put away. Bathroom had all you needed including a hairdryer, shower was Ok, just ensure the curtain is tucked well in the bath all the way around. WiFi was really good once your signed in, reception helped with one of our devices and it was fine. Communication with reception team and cleaners was really good, helped with everything I asked of them, really approachable and helpful. Even though we have been coming here for years, we have never used the adult area, mainly due to our kids ages. However, we did on this holiday and we love it! The small jacuzzi pool and peaceful area was a treat. Thank you Parque Santiago…see you next year!

“Lovely holiday”

Just back from a great holiday last week in May. Complex was immaculate, constantly being cleaned. We had a superior studio room and having read reviews we're expecting one of the outdated rooms. To our delight we had a newly renovated room and it was fantastic, had everything we needed. Kitchen had a microwave, oven, hob, coffee maker, toaster, full size fridge and full size freezer. We were in the Lanzarote block which faces onto the sea or smaller pool. Our room faced the pool and we were lucky enough to have one with a terrace which was excellent with a young child! Lots of space to play outside and a great view! Sofa bed was comfy, no complaints. Fan was adequate and didn't need to rent an aircon unit although not as effective as aircon. The pools were great. Splash park with the slides was a nice temperature, not cold at all. My 4 year old loved the slides and the pool was not salt water in here. The main big pool was a fantastic size with a large section to one side of the bridge that could be used for floaties of all shapes and sizes. This pool was cold and slightly less cold in the afternoon, but as soon as you dunk your shoulders under your absolutely fine and quickly adjust to the temperature. The smaller pool at the back is heated which is like a luke warm bath. Loved this pool! And was great for younger kids especially in the morning and little non swimmers could take their small rings in there too. Snack bar did lovely smoothies, alcoholic drinks and hot dogs which were great for a quick pool side lunch some days. Our flight wasn't until the evening so we were allocated a slot for the shower room which was immaculate. It was located in the tower and I'd say was maybe a step up from the room level we had which was lovely. The only complaint I have is in relation to the housekeeping team. Every single day we were woken up by them in the neighbouring room causing a complete racket. With a young child who has been up later and would be sleeping in longer this was far from ideal and woke my daughter every single day. The constant sound of dragging furniture along the field floor - presumably the table and chairs - was ridiculously loud. I'd expect more courteous behaviour such as lifting and not dragging stuff. On top of that they would be talking at the top of their voice to each other either together in a room or shouting through to the other cleaner in the next room. Come the end of the holiday we were all fed up of being woken by this every day. Hopefully this can be fed back and improvements made in this area as every other element of the holiday was amazing but people don't expect to be woken daily when they have the do not disturb sign on.

Lighting circuit blew on entering room. Maintenance were very efficient and tried for an hour or so to find the short but couldn't trace it. Wasn't possible to fix so needed to move rooms. Lighting circuit blew on entering room. Maintenance were very efficient and tried for an hour or so to find the short but couldn't trace it. Wasn't possible to fix so needed to move rooms. Next room was great. Ground floor overlooking the pool, and very spacious. Air con could be heard even when off but was happy with the room. Pools were good. Yes, one is very cold but the other is totally fine. Beach on the doorstep outside the back of the hotel. Nobody snorkeling but the snorkeling is actually really good. The sea bed when you get away from the shore is smooth rocks and not sharp. Makes for great snorkelling. Been a while since we visited this area, and don't think there will be a return visit. The reception staff were genuinely so nice. The manageress especially and also Ashley. They were all a credit.
