We came here as a couple in may and had a great time! The room was totally fine for sleeping in and changing, very clean and had everything you needed also the view was amazing, we were in block A on the 9th floor overlooking the sea and Veronica’s Although we went all inclusive we didn’t get up in time for breakfast but did have lunch and dinner and I can say this hotel is probably the first I’ve stayed in where the food stayed hot as I got it to the table, there is plenty to eat, a great choice of food all fresh and hot. The pool was so refreshing, we only used the down stairs pool but it wasn’t freezing like other pools, nice to have a quick swim to cool off We did struggle for sunbeds as people do reserve them for most of the day, I saw so many sunbeds with towels on for most of the day with no body on them but we did get some eventually you have to be quick, we just used to sit on the seats by the bar (the sunbed waiting area) we called it. The back gate takes you to the beach and restaurants, the front is close to the nightclubs so there is security on the door at night which made us feel safer coming home later, we didn’t go to Veronica’s but did go out to a couple of bars. Its definitely a party hotel probably not for kids as much, the music from the clubs goes on until sometimes 6am and it is loud in the room but if you drink enough you can sleep through it or have the telly on to drown it out, there is only one plug socket so take a multi plug! All the staff were friendly and the cleaners too, they do a fantastic job, we would go back again thank you sol for a great holiday 😊

We stayed at Sol Tenerife for four nights in May and honestly had a fantastic experience. I was a little unsure before arriving because of some of the negative reviews, but I think some people go in with expectations that don’t really match the price point. For what we paid, we thought the hotel was excellent. The hotel was clean throughout and all the facilities we needed were there. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel requesting a sea view room with twin beds, and they accommodated this immediately. The view was absolutely beautiful and made the stay even better. I was also a little apprehensive before arriving because I had seen reviews saying the hotel was very loud because of how close it is to the strip. Maybe we were just in one of the quieter blocks, but we genuinely could not hear the strip at all from our room. Honestly, the location ended up being one of the best parts of the stay. For young people travelling, especially if you’re going out for drinks or nightlife, it feels really safe and convenient because you are so close to everything. Getting back to the hotel was always easy and never felt like a long walk late at night. It’s also close to loads of shops and restaurants which made everything really convenient. The breakfast buffet every morning was fantastic with plenty of choice, and even during busy times it never felt chaotic or like we were waiting ages. Everything rotated really well. The pools were also great, large, clean, and there were plenty of sun loungers available if you went down early enough. A special mention has to go to the pool bar staff because they honestly made the holiday for us. Every member of staff seemed genuinely happy, friendly, and helpful, and the atmosphere around the pool bar was amazing. The lunchtime food there was also surprisingly good. We tried things like pizzas, sandwiches, and hot dogs, and everything was tasty and reasonably priced. The cocktails were delicious too and very fairly priced, especially considering we stayed bed and breakfast only. Our room was cleaned really well every single day, and overall the whole stay felt comfortable, easy, and enjoyable from start to finish. We had such a lovely trip and would definitely return to Sol Tenerife in the future.
