Checking to the hotel was smooth and painless, I had already emailed the hotel in advance, asking for a room on the inside facing the pool, this was ignored and we got our room facing Veronica's next door. Views are fantastic, but if you are hoping for a peaceful night's sleep, forget it when facing this way. Noise and music up until 4am. The hotel will provide you with ear plugs if you ask, but these have minimal effect. The room itself was very clean and tidy. We didn't use the AC. We stayed at half board, and the food on offer was plentiful , with a good choice. Only one bar open, which was the poolside bar. Inside bar and sitting area not in use at the time we stayed. Beware, you do have to use a token to get a cup, which is a bit of a pain. The gym was closed with no reason given as to why. Pool area clean and tidy with plenty of beds available , although as the season progresses, this won't be the case. Staff on reception very helpful. Overall, I wouldn't class this as a 4star more like a 3 star. Wouldn't class it as a family hotel seemed like there were a lot of male groups staying

We recently stopped here as a group of 19 away for a friend’s stag doo. if your intention is to come here for that kind of trip and your using it as a base to crash and don’t go in with particularly high expectations then this place will absolutely be ok for you. However, i definitely wouldn’t come here for a peaceful relaxing family holiday. Rooms The rooms are very dated and in desperate need of a refurb. However very clean and you cannot fault the cleaning staff for that they clearly do a good job. Our room also had a very nice view. The bathroom resembled something out of soviet ukraine however with horrible rusty ceiling panel’s and a shower curtain. The biggest issue with the rooms is they have zero sound proofing and the majority overlook the strip making them very noises so bring ear plugs as its very loud until 4am.There is also a severe lack of plug sockets in the room so bring an extension lead. Food We only ate at the hotel for breakfast, which i would say was Ok for hangover recovery.There was a decent variety but the quality really was not there and the bacon absolutely terrible it was more like grilled ham than bacon. There are plenty of options in terms of restaurants around however. Pool/bar area The pool really needs some maintenance, the water was clean but the bottom of the pool really needs recoating it made you want to avoid touching the bottom to be honest. There was only 1 pool bar which service was a bit slow at but drinks were reasonably priced and of a pretty decent quality. Staff Not a-lot to say here really, everyone we encountered was friendly and polite. Location If your coming to drink you are sorted there is ALOT of bars and restaurants all around all with dirt cheap prices. But be warned it is not safe around for families with children particularly at night. We were all regularly approached in the streets surround the hotel countless times by men selling “sunglasses” which were actually selling drugs. We were also offered sexual services by multiple prostitutes in the streets. This is not a “nice” area of tenerife.
