“Great holiday!!”

We had such a lovely time at Princess Taurito. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are always so clean and tidy, the staff are so welcoming and work very hard. Carolina was so kind to my daughter and always smiling!!

“One week stay end of May-June”

The hotel is in remote location. If you want to go to the bars or port it will be 25min traveling with a tax. Cost €25 one way. Mood was very fresh and nice. Lots of fish dishes. Plenty of choice all day round. Good quality drinks but not big enough choice for cocktails on all inclusive. Room good… more

Plenty of choice all day round. Good quality drinks but not big enough choice for cocktails on all inclusive. Room good size and clean. No drinking water in a room. We stayed on floor 11 great view. I found air conditioning in a bedroom very noisy so good I had my earplugs. Staff very friendly. Gym equipment outdated but you have everything to do a session. Nice and clean but that week air conditioning was not working so pretty hot. Pool good size, enough loungers. My biggest downside was the lack of good entertainment. Neither days or evening. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel and would go back.

We have just returned from a week’s stay and overall had a great holiday. There is a lot to like about this hotel and, for us, it got many of the important things absolutely right. First Impressions & Check-In Our first impressions were excellent. Check-in was smooth, friendly and efficient, and as we arrived around midnight, we were pleasantly surprised to find food had been left available for late arrivals in the restaurant. Room We stayed in a Junior Suite on the 7th floor. The room was immaculate, modern and cleaned daily to a very high standard. It came with a mini fridge, safe and hairdryer. One thing worth noting is that there is no iron provided. Hotel & Grounds The entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. This includes the poolside toilets, which are often overlooked in many hotels but were always spotless throughout our stay. There are plenty of seating areas both indoors and outdoors, all of which were tidy, comfortable and beautifully maintained. The whole hotel smells fresh and well cared for. Food & Drink Without question, this was the best hotel food we have experienced on an all-inclusive holiday. My partner is quite a picky eater, yet he found something he enjoyed every single day. There was always fresh fish and meat being grilled, along with a huge selection of breads, salads and desserts. Unlike some all-inclusive holidays, we never got bored of the food or felt the need to eat out. Breakfast was the standout meal for us. English sausages, thick-cut bacon, omelettes, waffles, pancakes – pretty much everything you could want. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard, keeping everything clean and well stocked while remaining friendly throughout. My only suggestion would be to create a small children’s section within the restaurant to make family dining even easier. Snack Bar The snack bar offered similar options each day, but everything was fresh and plentiful. Burgers, hot dogs, toasties, pizzas, chips, wedges, salads and ice cream were always available. The area was kept clean and the chefs were constantly replenishing food. We also liked that snacks could be taken back to your sunbed, which is particularly useful with young children. Pool Areas The pool areas were lovely. There is a splash area and small slide for children, a quieter pool where we spent most of our week, and the main pool area which naturally gets busier. The hotel is strict about inflatables and balls in the pools, but this wasn’t an issue for us as these can be used at the beach. Despite visiting in early June, we never struggled to find sunbeds, even when arriving around 1-2pm. Bars The bar staff were friendly and hardworking, but more staff are definitely needed during the evenings. There are two bars operating, but queues became quite long, and that was before the peak summer season. I imagine it could become frustrating during busier periods. Entertainment – The Biggest Let Down Unfortunately, this was by far the weakest part of the hotel and the main reason I would hesitate before returning. Our son loves mini discos, but the one we attended lasted only around 18 minutes. Evening entertainment generally consisted of an act upstairs followed by some music requests before everything wrapped up around 10:30pm. The atmosphere often felt flat, and audience participation was minimal. One band even had to ask people to applaud. We also attended bingo one evening and there were only around ten people taking part. There appears to be some daytime entertainment, including activities such as aqua polo, but unless you regularly checked the information board near the restaurant, you wouldn’t know it was happening. The entertainment team don’t engage with guests around the pool or encourage participation. There is a TUI Kids Club, although I understand it caters primarily for German-speaking guests. There was also a soft play area, but during our stay it never appeared to be open and there was little information available about it. For a family-friendly hotel, the entertainment programme needs significant improvement. Reception & Guest Information The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus to Mogan with a return service later in the day. We missed the outbound bus one morning and asked reception whether we could get a taxi there and simply use the hotel’s return bus. We were told this was absolutely fine and were given the name of the hotel where the return bus would collect us. We paid €25 for a taxi to Mogan, only to discover that nobody seemed to know where this hotel was. We asked local shop owners, restaurant staff and several other people, but nobody had heard of it. With two children in tow, we spent a considerable amount of time walking around Mogan trying to locate the pick-up point before eventually calling the hotel for assistance. When I explained the situation, I was told that the bus stop was “where the bus dropped you off”. I explained that we had travelled by taxi because we had missed the shuttle and therefore had no idea where the bus normally stopped. After speaking with colleagues, the receptionist then said it was near “the first roundabout”. When I explained that this still wasn’t enough information for us to find it, the call ended without any real solution being provided. In the end, we never located the bus stop and had to pay a further €25 taxi fare to return to the hotel, arriving back at almost exactly the same time as the shuttle bus. While mistakes happen, this was another situation where clearer information and more proactive customer service from reception would have made a big difference. Birthday Experience It was our son’s 7th birthday during our stay. Before travelling, I contacted the hotel to see whether anything could be arranged and was advised that we could order a cake. We didn’t take up the offer, but when we returned to our room that evening we found two flutes and a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us. While the gesture was appreciated, it felt slightly odd given that it was for a child’s birthday. Some chocolates, a card or a small treat for him would probably have been more appropriate. Departure Day Issues Our only significant issue occurred on our final day. We had a late flight and were travelling with our four-month-old daughter. We attended reception early to arrange a courtesy room and ask about preparing bottles for our journey. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple request became a lengthy and stressful discussion. We were repeatedly told that a kettle could not be provided and were advised to use water from the bar instead. As parents preparing infant formula, we were understandably concerned and explained why bottled water and access to a kettle were important. We had around an hour of discussions and were told several times that it wasn’t possible. After our courtesy room that afternoon I asked once again but this time a member of staff came out from the office and immediately provided a kettle. While the issue was ultimately resolved, the process caused unnecessary stress before a long travel day and felt below the standard expected from a four-star hotel. Overall Despite the issues with entertainment and our final-day experience, we genuinely had a fantastic holiday. The cleanliness, food quality, facilities and hardworking staff are all excellent and are the reasons we would consider returning. A special mention also goes to the lady working in the hotel shop, who was always incredibly friendly and welcoming. If the hotel improved its entertainment programme and provided more consistent customer service at reception, it would be very close to perfect.
