Having read some of the negative reviews before our holiday, we were quite apprehensive about our trip. Having now returned, I wanted to write a review to help put some people's minds at rest. We visited in June, my husband and l, my daughter, her partner, and their young son. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel to request two lower-floor rooms, ideally close together. We knew this might be difficult because we had booked different room types, so we were delighted to find on arrival that we had been allocated rooms on the second floor that were very close to one another. A special thank you to Angel for arranging this – it was very much appreciated. The hotel is absolutely huge, but it didn't take long for us to find our bearings. We had no complaints whatsoever about the main restaurant. There was always plenty of choice, and we found something different to enjoy every day. The snack bar food wasn't generally to our taste, although it always seemed popular and was well used by many guests. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming, and polite. Some reviews had suggested that English guests were treated differently, but that certainly wasn't our experience. We felt welcome throughout our stay. We particularly liked the self-service drinks stations and found the bar staff more than happy to help whenever we wanted cocktails or other drinks prepared. Personally, we couldn't really see any advantage to upgrading to the Premium All Inclusive package, as we were perfectly happy with the range of drinks available on the standard package. If we had one criticism, it would be the entertainment. There didn't seem to be a great deal of it, it often finished quite early, and we felt it could have been a bit more engaging with the audience. That said, it was perfectly adequate and certainly didn't detract from our holiday. The location is good, with plenty of shops, bars, and places to walk to in the immediate vicinity, and the beach is only around a 15-minute walk away. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day. We genuinely had no complaints at all about the accommodation. For anyone wondering, yes, there is a kettle in the room and no, tea and coffee are not provided, but we simply brought a few sachets from home and picked up some milk from the breakfast restaurant, which worked perfectly well. Overall, if you've booked this hotel, don't worry about some of the negative reviews. We had a lovely family holiday and a great experience. While it may not be quite on a par with some of the four-star hotels we've visited in Turkey, it still offered excellent value and a very enjoyable stay. We would happily return.
