My son and I stayed in the sol last year. And just loved it. We booked this year for April and could not say a bad word about it. All the staff are fantastic and friendly and very helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent. There's is a wide variety of food to cover everybody,s taste. There is plenty of sun loungers. The exercise classes are great especially the aqua spinning class. Our room was very spacious and had a fridge, kettle and microwave. All round it's a fabulous place to stay.

This hotel is good for families, not so much for friends or couples I feel. Nice rooms, lovely clean place. Animation team are good, especially Lorenzo he made us laugh! It is right on the beach front, you use your room key to access the door in and out which I thought was secure. It is a few mins walk to some shops, bars and restaurants. You can also catch planes flying over the hotel which I thought was cool. A taxi to puerto del Carmen was only €5 which was fab. Only downfall I would say is the food, sometimes it was cold and wasn’t cooked properly and some days did not have much choice but there is something for everyone. Drinks/cocktails are a bit limited options in the all inclusive. Bar staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Benito, he makes good cocktails. Lovely hotel overall.

We came for two weeks in Aug 25. We expected chaos at times with it being the school hols but we could always get seated at mealtimes and the food was absolutely lovely, couldn’t fault at all. Rooms were clean and spacious. The stones throw distance from the beach is an absolute bonus and the views were fantastic. We had a pool and sea view and we didn’t have to pay extra for this, we just fell lucky. The negatives was firstly the pool situation. In peak times you need to get up and reserve a sunbed before the sun comes up and you do get to a point where you think if I can’t beat em them I’ll join em. It’s taxing but when you have a child you need to keep a close eye on whilst she splashes in the kids pool then it’s just necessary to reserve a sunbed. The pool to the right is way too deep for literally anyone. My partner is 6ft 4 and even he was taken aback by just how deep that pool was with no real supervision by a lifeguard. The pool to the left of the kids pool is better. Evening entertainment was a mixed bag. Sometimes good and sometimes meh but always indoors and absolutely boiling. It gets rammed inside. It could be better for how much you pay to come here. Smokers everywhere does ruin it in a lot of areas and you’ll always get smokers who don’t think the smoking areas apply to them. This needs policing better. The kids disco is great every night if you have little ones. The location is brilliant, you could walk from the airport if you really wanted. There is a square of bars and restaurants just next door and PDC is a 20 min walk or 2 min taxi away.

The hotel would also benefit from renovation, as some areas feel outdated and in need of improvement.”**
