“Perfect little hotel”

The staff at this hotel were amazing and very friendly. We had a lovely stay, there is some amazing restaurants close by, calella is a lovely town. Something different for us as a family. It was a lovely cheap getaway and we will definitely return.

Fab hotel, apartments very clean and modern with all amenities. Pool area lovely with great sunbeds. Staff very helpful, lots of fresh towels daily and special thanks to Ricardo at night. Fab hotel, apartments very clean and modern with all amenities. Pool area lovely with great sunbeds. Staff very helpful, lots of fresh towels daily and special thanks to Ricardo at night. Great location in the old town, 5 minute walk to supermarket to get fresh croissants daily, typical Spanish feel with a lovely 20 minute walk past cafes and shops to the ‘strip’ for nighttime. Train station 10 minute walk and an hour train to Barcelona every 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend, thanks for a great stay.

Good points : Good location near beach & train station Bar staff are this establishments asset, especially Sofia & Paula very friendly & helpful Comfortable beds Had lunch & cocktails whilst around pool, food was nice, cocktails priced at nearly €10 each. Do not allow sun beds to be reserved before pool opening at 9am so no towel wars! Reception area clean and air conditioned Bad points We paid to upgrade to a suite, upon arrival queried if we had been given incorrect room as they are super small, the only thing that the rude receptionist said was you pay extra to overlook the pool this is classed as a suite! 3 hours sleep obtained 1st night as walls are paper thin can hear conversations all around, kids screaming at random hours, guy snoring next door & couple arguing at 4am not to mention all the furniture scraping at all hours. Moved rooms which was actually a downgrade from suite paid for but rooms on street side were ever so slightly less noisy but again room so small your walking sideways half the time to fit between furniture to get to balcony Fridges buzz loudly if your sleeping on sofa bed & sink randomly gurgling when next door showered kept waking up to this For some reason (guessing it’s so poor air con installed can reach room with sofa bed) large void in walls so could hear family member snoring & lack of privacy, don’t see the point of having a sliding door when massive void above it makes no sense. The sofa bed was not made up for when you arrive this is something you have to do yourself & a lack of extra pillows & sheets to do this, they should be better prepared especially if your arriving late with children Found lack of drainage around pool area Dangerous watched so many falls from adults & kids as water pools around edges & not into correct drain mix that water with lotion & it was like an ice rink Young girl working on reception at night with dark hair is extremely rude& lacks any customer service skills, only one not wearing a name badge so couldn’t pin point her by name. TUI stated 4* this is only 3* establishment as advertised above their door Air con is really poor in rooms massive difference to reception area Rooms only comfortable for two people due to how small they are, wouldn’t class as a family friendly room for children no room to move with more than 2 people Lack of storage & wardrobe space The bar is only open until 11pm Breakfast served in the lobby not very private & food left for hours on hot plates

The hotel was average, clean enough and enough space for 2 adults.The food was a very limited menu, buffet breakfast was more of a continental breakfast.The staff are friendly enough but not very informative had to find out most of things to do ourselves not that there's a lot to do,if u just want a week at the pool its fine but it is not for anyone who likes to explore.The beach is close and the train station is at the bottom of the street other than that there's nothing other than tapas bars and coffee shops with souvenir shops dotted in-between.
