We enjoyed our stay at the Bluesea Montevista Hawai. The staff were excellent throughout, particularly in the restaurant. Day to day, the food was just about ok and occasionally it was actually quite good, but you get what you pay for. Our room was clean, it had a new walk-in shower which we loved, and a balcony that caught the afternoon sun. It was noisy at times, largely due certain types of visitors from the UK but that did not spoil anything for us. The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes from a fabulous beach and close to many shops, bars and restaurants. For value for money, it is a great place to stay.

Honest review of hotel as a couple on thier late twenties who don't particularly party. For what we paid, the only thing we could fault is the fact that the walls are paper thin and if you're next to a party lot, then you'll be able to hear them, no bother. Yes the rooms are dated, worn and could do with an upgrade but if you are only going to sleep here, then it's got everything you need. Bed, shower, wardrobe and chairs on the balcony. It is true that they have a sister hotel which is a short walk up the road, literally a hotel in between walk which by the looks of it they send everyone to as when we walked past the original hotel, there was a sign on the gate to say anyone checking in should do so at the sister hotel. There aren't many sunbeds around the pool but it is literally a 5 or 10 minute walk to the beach front, shops nearby and everything in close distance. Drinks are super cheap in the hotel (well compared to others we have stayed at). €2 for fanta/coke/wine/sangria and small beers 🍻 The reviews are correct but they're not as awful as what people make it out to be for the price. You pay for budget, you get budget. The food was great in my opinion and I am 1 fussy eater. There was something every night, yes they have same pizza, pasta dishes but they also have had something different every night like paella and ribs etc. 1 last point of anyone has got tbis far, protect your toes from the bed! The amount of times my husband smacked his toes on the metal at the end, you kind of have to walk like a crab 🤣
