A little bit of luck was sprinkled onto our major road trip to Spain, because finding this gem online made an amazing two days for our family! We were actually scheduled for one night but were so tickled pink that we extended another night. We came at the right time because the price was on point and it wasn't too busy. This could easily be a five star place if there was attention to detail. By that, I can think of a few main points during our stay that just need to be addressed...1) instead of the hassle and delay at checkout, it would have been more customer friendly to have us pay the tourist tax fee for the extra day when we extended our stay and paid for it at check-in. (2.) The pool area is beautiful and obviously takes a lot of time and expense, but it was very obvious that the tile work of the pool needs to be fixed and repaired in many areas. (3) as a tourist, the trash system was very unclear. There were possibilities to separate the glass from the regular trash in some areas on the grounds, but otherwise it looked like everything was just regular trash.....with there being so much plastic trash there should be the yellow container to dispose of plastic trash. With this points, I do want to express that this was a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend it to others. I enjoyed the morning workout/dance class that was offered, the playground and children's activities are amazing, pool area was very enjoyable and we appreciate that there was a lifeguard, the view from our room, amenities, easy parking, restaurant on site was appealing (but we cooked in our apartment instead). Thank you for an enjoyable experience near the Mediterranean!

Great place at a great price, wish they could speak better English. Other than that the place is great for its' price range.

“EXCELENTE FOR FAMILY”

We loved our stay and entertainment good value for money, we would have preferred an extra shower. but over all we enjoyed our stay, There was a fowl smell in the toilet from the gutter - controlled by closing the door

1) Accommodation was of good/ fair standard and one of the reasons why the rating is a 4 rather than a 5. The reason for this is that layout was great and to a fairly good standard but one issue was that there was a musty smell in the one bedroom that we had so any time that we were in the accommodation we had to open the window to try and get rid of the smell but still could not get rid of it so was a bit worried. In fairness to the resort I could have complained about this, but, because we were happy about the location and had already unpacked we didn't bother as had we complained they may have moved us. Otherwise the room was well equipped with basics and we had washing materials left such as dishwasher tablets etc. 2) Getting around - As per previous comments - you will need a car. We hired one from centurion (Barcelona airport) as these seemed to be most reasonable and we had to shop around to find a company that built in the hefty deposit that a lot of them ask for. We knew we would have to hire a car as we planned to visit close by Portaventura theme park and local beaches. You may also find that the on site shop does not offer everything that you require so may want to venture further to a Lidl or Aldi (a few miles down the road) 3) On site facilities - Swimming pool area great and we spent a few days around here as the area was great. Again as with previous poster comments we did not encounter any other English families which was not an issue for us as we were only using the Village as a base, however, it is nice for the kids to have someone to mingle with and as the majority of visitors were French and Spanish they struggled. We were aware of this before visiting as we have stayed in a French P & V site and as I say it wasn't an issue as we were using purely as a base. If you are planning for your kids to take part in the activities, you may want to bear this in mind as the 'animators' have limited English. When I visited reception however, there was usually a member of staff on duty who spoke very good English. I can also verify that there were parking issues with some of the visitors but the only feedback to the park I would give on this is to provide a few more spaces as some days we could not find a space as there were so many visitors who had chosen to park in 2 spaces !!! 4 ) Food - As mentioned there is an on-site shop which is pricey to be expected, however it is adequate and a good place to get essentials and French bread etc. Ice Creams / refreshments a bit pricey (I paid 8 euros for an ice-cream and a slushie) and we had a meal at the on-site restaurant and it was perfectly acceptable Spanish fare. All in all a good stay and I would recommend
